I love these hikers, wore my last pair everyday to the point where they don't look good enough for going out in them. Best features are the light weight and the tapered toe that matches the shape of my foot. I decided to get a second pair before they were unavailable.

I'm one happy buyer- I wish everyone could know this comfort when it comes to hiking boots. These boots are the best thing I've bought in a long time. Low profile, comfortable, supportive, and required no break in time for me. My first big hike in them while they were still new, and no blisters or hot spots. Just looking at this boot it looks like it's made for my foot- the stitching and reinforcements are strategically placed so that it will not bunch up or scrunch in the toe box anywhere. The tread has been great for me so far. These are waterproof (can see the water roll right off them after crossing a stream), which comes with some warmth, but the comfort of knowing they are very waterproof is worth the warm feet. I can't wait to hike in the rain with these- I know my feet will be dry and happy. I've gotten lots of comments on them already!

In preparation for a trip to Ireland I bought the Women's Siren Traveller Q2 Mid Waterproof, size 8 brown. I love these boots!!! They've racked up tons of miles offer the last 5 months-- hikes, city exploration, daily grind, dog walks, etc. I have narrow feet and these fit awesome!! Additionally, I have chronic plantar fasciitis. Zero issues since wearing these on the regular. Keep up the narrow style with quality results, Merrell.

My review comes with the caveat that I have not yet gone hiking in them but they are comfortable right out of the box (like all my Merrells) and they fit true to size. I was a little surprised that the sole isn't more grippy looking, but I love that they are really light. So light in fact that when the box came I thought it would only the socks I ordered... 2 lb hiking boots!

I have worn Merrell shoes for years. They always felt good right out of the box so I never had to have a period of break-in. Now with the Siren line that has been specifically engineered for women's feet, I have found Merrell's to be even more comfortable than before. In the past, I used to take off my shoes and switch to slippers the moment I came in the front door. After a day in these boots, though, I completely forgot about that, they were that comfortable. Every winter I suffer with a lot from extremely cold feet but that didn't happen at all with these boots. When I came home my feet remained warm and dry. I really hope Merrell continues their Siren line and maybe even expand to other lines that are designed for women's feet as well. I will be a customer for life if they do.

I have chronic foot pain and bought these feeling desperate prior to a hiking trip in Iceland, but I completely fell in love. I am curious what you have that would fit similar in something with a lower profile that I can wear to work and out on the town? I have barely an arch and extreme pronation. Overcorrection from extreme support doesn't help, just hurts worse. Please give me a recommendation of something similar with more style for off the trails!

My last pair of Merrells lasted 7 years. Yes, eventually they weren't wateroroof anymore, but I put a lot of miles on them! These are my first pair of mid-rise hikers and I'm loving the ankle support. They feel great on my feet and I don't even have to "break them in" . They're not bright red but just flashy enough to make a statement whether I'm actually wearing them hiking or just out and about.

Well, the best part is that they are RED boots. I have always wanted a pair of hiking boots in that color. The boots are light and well balanced. They roll nicely when walking without being too soft. They have good arch support and they feel snug without being tight. The ankles are well protected for side motion during uneven terrain. I tripped on my first hike and thank to these boots, I did not hurt my ankle. I am enjoying my new RED hiking boots.

I love these boots. They are comfortable, sturdy, and can handle my hiking through our woods and farm! I will need to buy another pair for my other house! I would recommend them to anyone!

I am in love with these boots. I live in NYC and try to get away on the weekends to hike, so I purchased these with the intent to only wear them every once in a while. However, they were just SO comfortable that I started to wear them around the city - they make rainy days easier to navigate and my commute much easier and more comfortable. I would recommend these for the traveler as well as the hiker. They're extremely versatile - I wear them in the office and on the mountain! I got a half size up to accommodate bigger socks and I'm pleased with the fit, both with regular socks and bigger ones. I would buy these boots again and again!

I bought this boot because it was waterproof and I could wear it all day at my job. As soon as I put it on, I thought it was the most comfortable boot I'd ever worn. I have one foot with a bunion and both feet are wide. This boot fit the bill!

These boots were comfortable right away when I put them on. Did not need to break them in. Very lightweight. Great for walking or hiking.

Have taken these boots on several hikes now and they've exceeded my expectations. I've walked through mud and water and my feet stayed completely dry and warm. Would highly recommend!

From the moment i put them in they fit like a glove. They are light and no breakin time needed.

I bought these to use as a work boot and boy did they deliver the goods. I put on a new roof in these and my feet were the only part of my body that didn't hurt after. Comfortable, not clunky, unbeatable traction and no breaking in required. Can't wait to wear these out on the trails too!

I bought these boots for light hiking in Alaska. Love them! They are definitely waterproof, and as light as, if not lighter, than most of my gym shoes. There really was no "breaking in" period, but I have noticed that the material has softened and molded more to my foot. I wear a 7 or 7 1/2 (I also have a wide foot). I ordered a 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly. Can wear white gym crew socks with them, or warmer, Smartwool type of socks and still be comfortable. They ended up going to Italy with me as well, and now that Fall is here I'm finding myself wearing them daily. Couldn't ask for a better fit and performance! Will probably buy another pair soon!

I bought these in 9.5. (usually wear a 9, so they run small. I had thin socks) Right out of the box they are quite comfy!! Love the black on black!!! My friend bought the same pair after hearing how much I liked them, and she usually can't wear high tops. So that says a lot about comfort level. I had a pair of keens that gave me such terrible blisters I thought I'd try Merrell. Glad I did! I think I'm going to stick with this brand going forward. Just be sure to order half size up!! You'll love them!
