It was a welcome Christmas present, and immediately became the new bag to carry laptop, paperwork and all of the electronic devices.

Used for school and last samsonite backpack lasted 2 years!

Purchased this for my dad as a gift, and he loves it! Looks stylish, and you can definitely feel the durability when you first pick it up. Great backpack at a great price.

Purchased this product for my dad who is a very well traveled businessman and he loves it! Not only does the item feel durable for those hectic trips through the airport, but it also looks stylish too. Not to mention you can easily access all of your most used items pretty easily.

Great for a daily basis.

Really nice look and good size. I just wish it would have a few more pockets inside the main compartment like the Viz Air model I was replacing. Also the air bumpers for the laptop compartment would have been nice

Best Backpack I ever had, however the Zip broke after a year. I am having a hard time trying to get it repaired. I have brought two other Backpacks as replacements, but this Bag is by far the best. I could have saved money just ordering another one.

Used this bag as a carry on for a trip. Worked as planned.

It's heavy and thick, so it feels like you can't put too much stuff like max. for two days clothing. But it's good quality and can fit 17" laptop. It's also bulky.

Bag look and fell not good as shown in website. I used samsonite in past they are good looking.

I use this backpack for work purposes. I travel 80 to 90 percent with my job and this is a great backpack for traveling. It easily fits overhead or under the airplane seat. It is sturdy and comfortable on my shoulders and back. I love the suitcase handle on the back. It holds all of my goods including a portable monitor and laptop. The cushioned laptop pocket keeps my laptop and portable monitor protected from bumps. It has a sturdy handle so that I can hang it on bathroom stalls without worrying about the weight of the backpack breaking the handle. I only wish it had more zippers/pockets to hold items, especially smaller items. It has only 2 small pockets and then the main pocket and laptop pocket.

Top small zipper pouch needs sewn to front divider, hangs in the way a bit

This is one of the best travel back packs I have owned. The solid black is stylish, the shoulder straps are well padded with plenty of room for my PC in the padded equipment pocket. I would buy this pack again. My only concern is the plastic connector for the shoulder strap broke, I am waiting to see if Samsonite will replace it.....

great outside. like it, but i do not like the inner material.

Great bag, has plenty of storage. The only downside is there is no velcro strap to confidently hold your pc from slipping out. I like the gray bag, as it is easy to identify, as most other people carry black. I am looking forward to travel with this bag as it can slip over the pull handle of a carry on bag.

Great overall. Need bit more space for 17 inch Acer laptor. Will be great for 15 inch.

The backpack looks super cool but I would say Samsonite is lately using cheaper material to save cost and make more money. I guess I will test it for the price I paid and if have any issues will take advantage of their 3 year warrantey program. If the bag has no issues in next 3 year, then I will consider it as a winner.

I do have the original Tectonic backpack and I LOVE IT. It's very comfy under heavy loads, roomy, pockets for gadgets and the headphone pocket is huge. Unfortunately, the pocket area is about to rip so I've taken it to a Samsonite store to evaluate it whether the damage is a warrantied item. I bought the Tectonic 2 in the meantime and compared to its big brother, I must say I still prefer the Tectonic backpack. The T2 seems slightly smaller, Non-TSA friendly laptop storage area (zipper does not fully open all around), much smaller gadget/headphone compartment. However, the main compartment seems larger than its predecessor and the bottom appears to be contoured so the backpack sits on the floor. This appears to be solid with the ballistic fabric and the true test will be six months from now. As for the Tectonic that was in the store for warranty evaluation, they just ended giving me a new one so now I have a spare one. I'll use this for the summer since I have a little more stuff to carry around. Overall, Samsonite has always met its obligations in warranty issues and from luggage to backpacks, they've never disappointed me.

I like the bag but, as a graduate student I use the bag to carry heavy books, laptop, papers, water bottle etc.--daily--to and fro the campus and I'm afraid, the bag is just not sturdy enough, it feels.

looking forward to traveling with the bag as my personal item - my widescreen laptop will be nicely protected, and there's lots of other places and pockets for storage; zippers open enough to really get things packed in

Good looking bag but poor stitching of inner pockets

I honestly can not say anything about this product because I haven't even received it. What did I get instead? A suitcase and the worse customer service I have ever experienced. I will never do any business with this company again. After ordering a backpack over 3 weeks ago, I have yet to get the correct order. I received the wrong thing and had to call this company 3 times because of one order. I don't have the time nor patience to deal with them any more.
