Extremely comfortable and well made boot. These things are more comfortable than running shoes. They are relatively light weight and comfortable to walk or hike in. Great to for use with snowshoes. They are warm, and waterproof.

This is my 2nd pair of Salomon’s. Bought a pair of their hiking shoes several years ago. Pleased with those because of how long they lasted so I tried these. Build quality is consistent and fit is the same. True to size for me. Very supportive in the ankle and I can tell with the thinsulate these will work perfect for Midwest winters. Top quarter of boot has soft lining and the quick lace hooks on the ankle portion of the boot were key for me since I typically wear slip on shoes and like to not have to fiddle with traditional eyelets when taking off the boot. The boot loosens quickly when you need it to and holds snug when you need it to. Traction and sole are just like the shoe I bought and have bite. I can tell they are made from a composite rubber that will likely last longer than the shoe itself. Worth the buy when compared to its brethren.

I love these boots. Great traction in the snow whether it's in the field or on the pavement. I like the fit, I've had keens that are great but feel wide on my foot. These salomons are snug but comfortable. They also are more athletic than regular boots. I'm wearing them everywhere in the winter.

These are the first boots I have ever bought that 1) actually fit me properly 2) keep my feet warm in single digit temperatures and 3) keep my feet dry. Really happy with them.

I've been struggling to find Michigan winter boots that are the proper combination of waterproof, warm, traction-worthy, and somewhat stylish. Decided to try these Salomons, and I've not been disappointed. They're lightweight (for a boot), but very sturdy construction-wise. Other reviews have mentioned that they feel a little narrow, but I didn't find that. To be sure: I'm not trying to cram thick socks into them…I'm just wearing my normal 'round-the-house ankle socks, and the boots are very comfortable. My feet have stayed warm & comfortable in 3+ mile walks, outdoors, in January.

I have the non-winter version of these boots, and they're a size 10. I ordered size 10 in this winter version, and they're a tad small. I imagine it's because of the addition of excellent insulation. I'm waiting for a new delivery of size 10.5 to see if that does the trick.

Haven't had them out in the weather yet, but man are they cushy. Fit nice, supportive, quality materials. Ordered yesterday and got them today. Tried several pair and their help with returns and exchanges was outstanding. The Big Z comes through! Advise not to tie them to tight, at least for me. And at least Salomon put flat laces on these boots which stay tied, unlike all these other companies which use those worthless round nylon laces that always come undone. These boots are finally going to work.

Awesome. Solomon does not disappoint. Bought for a trip to Iceland and Greenland.
