My feet typically run hot, so I was a little bit nervous purchasing an insulated boot. This boot is perfect! Just enough warmth to keep my toes from even getting a bit cold, and they breathe well enough that I have not once overheated, which was my biggest concern. They fit great, they grip amazingly even in icy conditions, and I couldn't ask for a better boot. I use it for snowshoeing, winter hiking, and just goofing off in the snow. The first test was heading out on the annual trip to cut the Christmas tree. Performed flawlessly then, as they have each time I've taken them out since.

I purchased the X Ultra Winter boots to keep my feet dry and warm during outdoor martial arts classes and they have exceeded my expectations. These boots are light and do not impede on your movement. I tried other boots that were too heavy to move dynamically. Most importantly, they are warm and very comfortable. I would recommend these to any one seeking winter boots for an outdoor activity!

I was looking for a warm winter boot and wanted a higher ankle. This has been perfect for me for driving, casual hiking and even snowshoeing. I took a full size smaller than recommended since I am female ordering a men's boot.

I really loved you Salomon hiking boots. They provide excellent support very warm and you don't even know you have them on.

I have only had these boots for approximately a month. I have put roughly 25 miles of trails on them so far. They have not shown much tread wear and have kept my feet warm in 20-30 degree temperatures. They fit true to size. I would not hesitate to purchase another pair.

I needed a good boot that has great traction for snow removal on my steep driveway. This fit the bill. Plus my toes stay toasty when I take the dog on hikes in the woods where Im a few inches deep in the snow the entire time.

Bought this for a weekend in Yosemite, could not be happier. My feet stayed nice and cozy the entire time. Plowed off trail for miles in the snow, zero issues. Even went on a muddy trail where the snow had melted, and they did wonderful there as well. Dont change anything!

This is my 3rd pair of Salomon winter boots and they do not dissappoint. I wore them in sub freezing temperatures for hours at a time with normal winter socks and stayed warm and dry. Super boots

I am on my third set of Salomons in four years. I'm a LEO and very hard on my gear. Before I started buying Salomon boots I bought the usual garbage sold to us for a third of the price and regretted wasting all that money. Salomon boots are worth every penny. You will get comfort right out of the box, no break in necessary. The insulation is great although I really don't need it in Florida. The most important thing the boots provide for me is the waterproofing they provide as it rains heavily in my area and quite often. Thank you to Salomon for the quality only they provide.
