If you're looking for your first piece of high-end gear, look no further. This was the first jacket that I truly put my money into after a year of getting into backpacking, hiking, and camping, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I bring it on all of my cold weather trips and gives me piece of mind when heading into the backcountry (with layers, of course). The Atom LT traps my heat and allows me to vent when I get too warm during steep ascents or a run along the trail. It is highly packable, lightweight, and durable, perfect for when the time comes to stow it away. Whether I'm driving to the trailhead on a chilly fall morning, or using it as a layer underneath my shell during a light snowfall, it has proved to be my most used and cherished piece of gear. Also very comfortable against the skin if wearing just a t-shirt underneath. Not only is this product perfect for a host of outdoor and high-exertion activities, but it is stylish for walks around the city. I have gotten plenty of complements, and many of my friends have followed suit and picked one up for themselves after trying mine on during hikes. I couldn't recommend this product more. My only complaint is that I sometimes am too eager to wear the jacket and get too warm on the warmer days where this layer isn't quite necessary.

Great jacket on not overly cold days, can layer very well with fleece jackets to be really warm on very cold days, great for skiing as a midlayer because of its athletic properties.

I need more than one of this jacket! I love wearing it everyday, but it's now become one of my top outdoors pieces. Especially when it's really cold, it keeps me SO warm yet breathes during my xc ski sessions.

The perfect jacket. This is my go to jacket providing plenty of insulation in the cold of Fairbanks, Alaska for simple running around or as a layer under a shell for severe cold. I also use this jacket for travel as it is so compressible it is the perfect jacket for use in airports for layovers to cold winter nights in Hawaii. I can't think of a more versatile garment. This is a jacket that will NOT go unused in your wardrobe. Enjoy!!

What can I say about this jacket that hasnt already been said. It is fantastic. I love it so much I have both the hooded and collared version. It is truly and all around as it makes an amazing base layer, but is also just a great jacket on its own. I wear it camping, hiking, and...everywhere. It never leaves me. Get this jacket. I said it is true to size, however my OLDER collared version does seem to fit a bit tighter than the newer 'true to size' hooded version I own.

I loved this jacket so much I had to buy one for my husband. It has made me an arcteryx enthusiast (my first arcteryx purchase). So lightweight and it's amazing how it regulates body temperature. I am always cold but hate to wear bulk all the time. I am 5'1", 103lbs and the xs small fits like I want it to-comfortably wear a base layer with room, probably could wear a lightweight sweater if I wanted. Arcteryx has amazingly deep, rich colors which is why I'm going to buy another one! You will love this jacket.

Trs bon achat cette veste coupe le vent la pluie et une trs bonne capacit scher tres rapidement. Se porte de temps doux froid. Bien coupe bien taille. Malgr son son prix elle vaut cent pour cent le coup.

This is an absolutely incredible product and I wear this more than any other singular piece of clothing I own. It is the most comfortable and versatile jacket I have owned.

My wife had her Atom LT for our trip to Barcelona during thanksgiving and she wears it everyday. She the lightweight and it is blocked the cold and chill wind at night. I bought for myself the brown color and loving it because it is so comfortable and lightweight, I usually use Fleece for hiking but it does not block wind. I wanted something light, soft and keep me warm in the city and hiking in the redwood trees.

This is the best purchase I ever made. I have never been so satisfied with a piece of gear. The lightweight, packable Atom LT Hoody is great for any outdoor activity. I use it all year long, for spring and fall climbing, and as a mid layer in winter months for skiing, hiking and winter camping. I wear it in the city as my coat in the spring and fall. It is a staple of my canoe-tripping clothing items in the summertime as a great piece to stay warm at night. The Primaloft material does not compromise warmth and insulation for the convenience of being able to get it wet. The jacket is an attractive fit while not being too form fitting. I recommend this hoody to everyone! You will not be disappointed in this investment.

This is my favorite midlayer piece, ever. It's lightweight and durable enough to be thrown in my pack for every adventure and it stands up to sweat, wind, and the occasional scrape through a narrow chimney. It has kept me warm on snowy nights and windy days in the PNW and I wouldn't trade it for any other piece. As an added bonus, the fit is perfect and the colors are super fun. If you only buy one midlayer in the next year, make it this one!

J'ai essay beaucoup de veste extra-small et Arc'teryx est la seule compagnie qui fabrique un produit qui me fait. Je suis petit et mince et la xs Atom LT me fait comme... un gant. Je trouve cette veste trs polyvalente surtout en sous- couche avec ma Alpha Hybrid. Cette veste facilement remplacer une veste polaire et une veste en isolant synthtique lger; tous deux de marques connues. Trs lgre, confortable et peu encombrante cette veste est exactement je que je cherchais.

Didn't feel the need to break out the warmer gear and have used on cooler evenings as a hoody too. I have gone up a size to XL for alternative layering options (L usually is fitted on me and I have the jacket version in this size) but wanted to use after bike rides etc when already fully clothed... Great jacket!

Based on good reviews, I bought this product under some hesitation, as I thought what I wanted and needed was down and not synthetic insulation. Indeed, I was proven wrong! This jacket has been used a lot more than I would have a down garment, and I love it for it. It's the ideal garment in both summer and fall/winter, both for hiking and everyday use. In summer, I use it over a t-shirt instead of a sweater to keep me warm. When hiking, I pop it over my wool base layer when needed. In fall/winter, I've used it on cold and windy hikes as mid-layer under my shell, never feeling cold. It's also perfect as the go-to jacket when I'm out for a walk or a quick bike ride down to my sports center. I truly recommend this jacket.

Voila pour moi les 4 caractristiques qui font que cette veste (midlayer) est une vrai satisfaction : - Trs lgre - Chaude et polyvalente - Rsistante - Son design et sa qualit propre la marque Pour la lgret c'est simple, une fois enfile on se sent pratiquement aussi l'aise qu'avec un t-shirt. L'ayant emport dans mon sac pour une asencion au Los Reglos au printemps dans le but d'tre protg de la fracheur une fois en haut et de pouvoir rester observer le paysage, je ne l'ai purement et simplement pas senti dans mon sac, qu'elle y soit ou non je ne sent pas la diffrence de poid ! En ce qui concerne la chaleur et sa polyvalence c'est vraiment agrable de pouvoir prendre une veste en complment d'un simple t-shirt et trouver cela suffisant alors meme qu'il fait 10 C ! Sa polyvalence et dut sa respirabilit qui garde une temprature agrable jusqu' environ 20C et son cordons de serrage au hanches permet aussi de contrler l'air qui sort et qui vient pour encore une fois conserver une temprature agrable. Pendant l'effort en complment d'un t-shirt cette veste est largement suffisante entre -5 C 5 C. Autant dire qu'avec un pull dessous c'est une veste chaude et la technologie Polartech se fait ressentir. Pour parler de la rsistance je vais juste noncer un fait qui m'est arriv quelques mois apres l'acquisition de la veste. Je courrai sur une route quand j'ai gliss sur une flaque et mon coude violament rip contre le bton, il etait d'ailleurs lgrement en sang apres alors que la veste n'avait rien et ! J'tais vraiment tonn car pour une conception aussi lgre j'tais sr de l'avoir ruine ! Apres je suppose qu'on connais tous le design propre la marque Arc'teryx, pratique, beau, minimaliste, robuste. Cette veste n'y fais donc pas exception avec une libert de mouvement parfaite, ds finition trs fine (Une fois les poches fermes avec le jeux de plies dans la cousure elles ne se voient presque plus !), encore une fois sa respirabilit qui est trs bonne, son confort et son look citadin pur ! Son prix est lev, comme tout les autres produit de la marque, mais c'est payer une certaine qualit ! Je ne vous la conseille pas si son rle sera de rester dans le placard en attendant une semaine de ski en piste classique une ou deux fois par ans. Mais si c'est pour un usage frquent tout l'hiver allez y ! Foncez car cette veste est incontestablement un des meilleurs midlayer du march et elle s'utilise aussi parfaitement en couche extrieur par temps sec ou avec de lgre averse ! C'est la veste que j'utilise le plus. Son ct lger est trs agrable. Elle isole bien du vent et du froid jusqu' 10C environ. Je suis isol d'une averse modre. Veste assez respirante pour des activits pas trop physiques mais pas assez sous une veste impermable goretex comme ma Beta AR lors d'activits intenses.
