The size is ideal for my 6 year old for school

Very practical and high quality. Only thing, the side pocket for a bottle of water is small and with a mesh that can tear easily.

The back pack looks great! My soon to be kindergarten will love it! I think it's big enough for him to get everything in it he needs without being too big for a little guy. I love the features it has. However we bought it also because of the matching lunch box but the lunch box is too small. It just barely fits the Bentgo that we have, but we like to put an ice pack in it. I'm super sad that my kindergarten may struggle with getting everything zipped up in it.

I love the fabric it's very sturdy .It also has quite a few smaller compartments to hold various items

This was just what my son was looki g for for school. Lunchbox is a little small but other than that it's great!

Great quality backpack but not very big. Would work better for lower grades k-3 as they don't carry as much to and from school.

Love the bag, very convenient to have his lunch in the outside so there is enough room for everything else in the main part of the bag and the bag is more than roomy inside! Hate the color, I would have liked to have known this was NEON ORANGE, not red accents. It definitely does not show that way in the image and there is no note of color in the listing.

I purchase this item for my niece for 1st day of pre kindergarten. I love the fact the lunch box fits into the bag pack once it's emptied. She was so excited. Let see how well it hold up to 4year old.

It was a little smaller than expected but luckily my laptop fits in it just fine! I had bought it expecting it to be padded like the High Sierra backpack I've been using for the past six years or so, and roomy/expandable like the picture, and was disappointed to find it wasn't. That's okay though, I can just put my laptop in a padded case! It may actually be as expandable as the picture if I try to put more stuff in it to test it out.

I love the Joel High Sierra Lunch Kit Backpack. It will definitely come in handy when my grandson goes back to school. I love that fact that the backpack and the lunchbox match, so that he can keep track of what's his. He can also store the lunchbox in the front of the backpack when he's finished with it. It's made of material that cleans up well and should last him a long time. Oh and lets not forget it's very roomy. We can also use it when we're traveling. Great job High Sierra!!

Great bag, however the lunch box bag is too small,

We like it but the lunch bag is smaller than expected and there is no compartment for the folder.

The backpack seems great, but the lunchbox is tiny. It won't hold much, much less an ice pack. We purchased a different lunchbox to use instead.

i use it to go to school but it cant fit my binder and my binder is small and that was the entire point of getting it. The lunchbox is 2 inches tall and has no logo on it plus the walls of it cave in. I only gave it 3 stars just because if it (lunchbox too) was bigger I would give it 5 stars. It is holding up well but i just wont use the lunch box.

I ordered 4 Joel lunch kits backpack and received 2 backpacks and 2 cooler backpack. Very very disappointed and frustrated.

Way too small, I was going to return it but having to pay the big return fee, I won't be a return customer
