My daughter wanted a backpack that had a spot for her lunchbox so she didn't have to carry it separate. This backpack not only comes with an insulated bag, but also a spot to place the bag. The insulated bag fits the bento and other brand containers I have. Our favorite part about this backpack is that the lunchbox compartment doesn't compromise the space inside the backpack. We have plenty of space for her bulky Chromebook and other folders etc. What would make this perfect is seeing this bag last is an entire year, "fingers crossed". Thanks for making us a great looking backpack with real quality features!

I love this backpack for my elementary student. It has two full compartments and the space for the lunch box - genius design as most of the time a lunch box takes up so much space inside the backpack. Very functional. Not too big for elementary school students. As noted by others the lunch box isn't very big. We use it for snacks, not a full lunch. That could be a downside for some.

Daughter loves her new backpack. Very roomy for school supplies, shoes, etc. and the added bonus of having a perfect pouch to carry her lunch box. Happy customer!

After having 2 backpacks not make it through the year this year for one of my kids, I decided to go back to this one. I bought one 3 years ago and it's still holding up so I got 2 more for next year! The lunch box size is perfect for a bento box and I love that it has its own pocket so it's less likely to be forgotten. Also the print options are so cute.

Bought this backpack for my granddaughter. She just loves it. Love the way the included lunchbag fits in a pouch outside the bag. Its so easy to take in and out and you dont have to carry it separately

Sturdy, well padded and will last for a long time. Great bag for my kindergartener. The lunchbag is a big plus.

Excellent value!!! High quality and built to last. Trust me. This is only my 4th one. I purchased them for Two of my children about 5 years ago only getting new ones because they were ready for new colors but the bags are still in top notch shape. They will swap roles to carry ons.

This is a nice backpack for a younger child. This size would be great for pre-k to about 3rd grade. I like that it includes a lunchbox. The lunchbox looks to be nice quality and hopefully will last the whole school year. The lunch box is on the smaller side so it would be good to transport a smaller lunch. I can always add extra snacks into the main bag as needed. The lunch box also is attached by velcro. Bag looks well made and is large enough for what my younger child needs. My daughter also likes the pattern that is girly but not babyish. Kids are so picky these days. My older kids use larger bags from this brand and they are good quality and last all year.

Great size backpack for my kindergartener to use! Love the quality! Big brothers have larger ones from High Sierra and have used them for a couple years already. We will continue to buy from High Sierra because they hold up well for us. The lunchbox size is fine... only slightly smaller than my son's other one and either one fits in his backpack.

My daughter loves this bag. It is very spacious. I just wish it had a place for the laptop her school gave her.
