I would not recommend this product, they are very uncomfortable and not durable, I've had them about 2 weeks and they've already started to show signs of wear. My feet hurt constantly because the heel of the shoe is cut too low and I usually end up standing on its edge most of the time. The foam sole is not responsive it was spring like at first and now its compacted and unresponsive. I would love an exchange or a refund as this was my first pair of New Balance shoes. The instep does not expand for comfortability, usually leaves my instep red and sore. My experience with this product is below average. Thank you.

Comfortable. Need choice of colors like black. Size 13 which I've worn for 10 years in 990s are almost an inch too big in back

Shoes were much longer than the size 7 1/2 on the label even when $40 or $50 thick orthotics were added. My husband's heels came out of the shoe with every step. The extra wide width did match the label. We also tried size 8 earlier, and size 7 later, and all were almost the same length.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance, because they supply extra wide, EEEE

I am a big fan of New Balance shoes. Especially because they oftne have a good 4E selection for my wide foot. I was hoping that these slip ons would also meet my past experiences with New Balance. Unfortunately, I was severely disappointed from the get go. The fit is so loose and the lack of heel support makes it feel like the shoe is going to come off with every step. I was hoping after a couple of wearings it would improve. In short it did not. Returning them because they just don't work and fit as advertised. Unless they improve the heal fit issue, don't buy.

Like others, I had hoped this shoe would be a replacement for my old 801 model shoes. For this newer version, the length, width, and arch were fine. The problem I had was the hard plastic panels on either side of the shoe created a large gap at the top of my foot, and that created a loose fit.

I bought a size 7.5, but it is really too large, and it is too easy to slip out of the shoe. Also, the heavy rubber sole catches on house carpeting; it makes falling a real possibility. This is not a slipper for use by an old man (like me).

The MA900v1 Walking seems to be a cheap (although not by price!!) version of the discontinued New Balance 990v3 Slip-On. The comfort level feels so much more "coarse" on your feet. Although the style is very similar the upper materials clearly are not. The fit is pretty much spot-on. New Balance makes some of the best sport/casual shoes on the market. The MA900v1 is not one of them.

It is a very attractive shoe, but: needs more material on the back to keep them from flopping. I won't order by the internet anymore because for some reason your sizes seem to run all over the place. These particular shoes were way to wide and I couldn't order in a smaller width - really??!!

The cheapest made shoe that New Balance has ever marketed. Construction has very little lateral support which may cause injury for some of us. I will use them for indoor slippers.

These 900 Slip-On are better than nothing being offered at all, but the 990v3 version Slip-On was a much much better shoe. Please bring back the 990v3 version.

i had 3 pair of the 990's and they fit better than any other shoe I have ever had. I have had multiple foot and knee surgeries and they gave me the support and comfort I need. I wore out all 3 pair which I have never done. When they were discontinued I was so sad. When the 900's came out, I bought 2 pair and wish I hadn't. They stretched out and are now too wide. They are not comfortable and rub my feet. I have tried several different insoles but none of them helped. I will wear them to run errands but no long walks. Very disappointed.

I've been waiting for these to come out since the 990 Slide was discontinued. I finally purchase a pair of the 900 slides hoping they would be as comfortable and sturdy as the 990's. Sadly, they are not nearly as comfortable or as well built as the 990. I never understand why MB chooses to tinker with a good product so often. They have done the same thing with the 928, V1 excellent, V2 horrible, V3 much closer to V1 but still not as good

Thought these would be nicer and better made. Had an older model that I loved and were very comfortable. These are not all that comfortable and I feel the quality has declined. I've returned them.

Ok so I've tried to think abut this before I wrote this. So I have both the grey and black ones. The grey ones are way big and black ones are super small. I just don't understand and I'm sure I can't return them since I've already wore them. I would just be weary before I bought them. I was looking for something like this, but these aren't it

I have been a New Balance fan for years. This shoe was a huge disappointment. It was a full size short and also narrow. I should have returned the shoes, but I threw them in the trash along with some not so kind words. What is so hard about just telling the truth?

This shoe seemed narrow to me. I have a fairly wide foot but usually can wear a medium. In this case, though, the instep was too tight. I may could have decided to wear a wide shoe but decided to wait to see what Munro comes out. Sorry to have to send the shoes back. Munro has always been my go to for comfrt.

The 900 slip on is no replacement for the 990. The 900 quickly stretches out and becomes sloppy. Bring back the 990ASAP!!!

first pair we ordered was a men's 11.
Pretty sure they sent a woman's - was too tight & narrow for my husband.
Ordered a 12 men's - HUGE (made it more obvious that first pair was prob female's)
now, no men's 11 available in gray

I like the older leather slip-on with running sole M990SGS.
The back of the heel on the shoe is half the height as the M990's. 1.5 " vs 1" on the 900.
The sole is too soft like a skechers a slip on, the 900 needs firmer sole.

I originally bought a pair of 803s about five years ago, before they were obsoleted. Your 900 shoe, in the W size, is actually 4W, which is too wide for me. I tried the standard width and it fit better but the structure of the upper around my heel is too flimsy as it caves in rather than holding up to my heel. View the Merrill slip-on shoe to see a more robust heel area of the upper. That is what I wear now but they don't make a style like a walking shoe. Thats what I really want. I never had a heel problem with my original 803s so it seems the designers fell down on that heel area on the 9 series.

Having been a long time NB buyer this 10.5 4E barley went on my foot. Maybe D at best. First shoe ever to fit so poorly. Returned already. Too bad.
