This is my second pair of Freye boots and they don’t disappoint as my first pair hasn’t. Quality and craftsmanship are superb. Sure you pay a little more but it’s well worth it. I protected them with mink oil, it made them a little darker but I actually like it. I highly recommend the boot.

Although the color was not like the photos, I loved the styling. It was a somewhat larger than the 9.5 I order but it felt good. The problem and reason for return was the boots were too narrow. It’s a shame that a “wide” option was not offered because I really loved the boot.

I ordered half size bigger to accommodate thicker socks and am glad. a little stiff out of the box but the fine quality leather gets nimble quick. Color is true to picture which is great.....I had ordered a different boot based on the picture and the actual color was lighter and more orange. These are very nice, comfortable and matched the photo

I bought these for my husband. We have returned many boots as he felt they were too stiff, too narrow and needed “breaking in”. These Frye boots were comfortable out of the box! They are an in between style, not a dressy boot but not a field boot. They are easy to put on with the side zipper. Handsome leather and made to last years.

Beautiful soft oiled suede goatskin, forms nicely to my foot. Was able to wear for the whole day , very comfortable after only breaking in around the house for a couple of hours the day before. Understated, classic Frye styling. Completely pleased with Frye and Zappos!

If you're looking for black and want/need black, these will not please you. The color is brown, at lease by my eyes. I allowed a 1/2 size larger for the first pair because I know the foosties have enlarged with age. Very hard to get on (at the heel) and quite snug, overall. Exchanged for next full size up, and still kind of small to put on, but the width felt better. I'll allow these to age over time. BTW, I also ordered the larger size in the "Sawyer" style and those go on VERY easily. And, they are black. So, check those out as well.

I'd recommend one half size up. Other than that, these are awesome boots that can be dressed up or down.

WOW .. FRYE HAS DONT IT, AGAIN! Another excellent boot to my collection, indeed! This boot defines the quality, attention to detail, and adjusting leather performance as you would expect from the Frye Brand. The boot does feel a bit flat, in terms of arch support, but hey, nothing foot padding cannot handle, if that's what you need. Overall, the boots superior quality is fully present within its wear, and they do feel true to size, as most Frye boots, in my experience, are tailored true sizing. I highly suggest that you cop a pair for your fashionisto-collection. You will not be remissed that you made the move on these fine boots from Frye, no doubt!

I bought these boots for my boyfriend ( I’m a true Frye believer and fan) he had a bit of trouble getting in but once in the fit was was great. A thinner sock is needed. As with all Frye boots , the more you wear them the better the boot gets and the fit .

This a beautiful comfortable boot. The cognac goes with anything. I would like the black as well, but close to $300 bucks I will wait on that.

Perfect pair of dressy boots. Lols like a million dollars. Fits well. Soft out of the box. First pair of Frye a thing. I’m impressed. Worth the cost.

Another great boots from Frye. Fit and size is pretty spot on although it is a bit harder to get your foot in compared to Frye boots with laces.

I really like the appearance and feel of these boots. My only criticism is that I wish that they were available in a narrower width.

Beautiful boot, fit perfectly & looked great. Returning though because uneven/incomplete stitching on the side of each shoe. Unacceptable on a $300 pair.
