I really looked at reviews for this jacket. It is very stylish. I wanted a jacket that was cropped and this one is. However, I am short waisted with longer legs so on me, this jacket if worn normally does not sit at the waist. It sits below the waist where it feels odd because the bottom of the jacket is snug. I can sort of pull back the shoulders and pull down on the sleeves to raise the jacket higher on me so it will be at the waist and then it feels better and looks better. I am 5'5 and not short at all and the medium size it definitely roomy. So if you are looking for a truly cropped jacket but you are shorter waisted, this probably won't sit at your waist, it will sit lower unless you kind of play around with it like I'm doing. I think it's nice enough so I'm gonna keep it and do that as it definitely looks good and feels warm. I also like the very long sleeves. I have very long arms and most jackets I have to really pull on them to get them down past my wrists - this one I don't have to do that.

Very stylish and comfortable. The jacket is sure puffy and I think it would handle very cold weather. The jacket rests right at the waist. It feels short. It also looks short. I’m returning it for this reason. I want a jacket that sits slightly lower and provides more coverage.

Living in New York, I needed a jacket that was both warm and versatile. After trying numerous jackets of different brands, I came across this one. I purchased the jacket in white and after four months it has yet to stain. I wear it to class, to events, and to dinners. As a journalist who is always on the go, I've found this jacket to serve me very well. As a picky girl who loves fashion, I've found this jacket to serve looks as well :)

I've been looking for an amazing cropped puffer coat for ages and finally stumbled upon this coat and girlllllllllll it's the best thing since sliced bread! This jacket is super comfortable and very light weight which I love because I'm 5"3 and hate feeling weighed down by heavy clothes. If you're a size medium and want to be able to wear a sweater or hoodie under your jacket, get a large. The large fits just like a medium. I wear this jacket everyday. It hits up to my waist which isn't great because I hate wearing jackets that hit below the waist because they feel tight and restrictive when you sit down on the train. I would definitely buy this jacket again. Worth the money!

I gave this goat to my daughter as a Christmas present but was exactly what she wanted and lives it. The actual coat was true to the picture on the website. I was thrilled to get her such a warm coat that she'll actually wear in the cold NYC winters.

Super lightweight, very packabke, and very breathable. The color is unique, though I will say that I found the color to be slightly more dusky than what appears in the photo, and the overall material quality feels almost too light. If it was slightly more weighted, it would have been a perfect ten for me.

This Jacket is not warm as advertised it's very light and feels like a lightweight jacket you get in for fall not for winter! Disappointed!

This jacket is so cute for a cute outfit, its not a coat youd wear in weather under 35 degrees, its rlly cute though and the pockets are warm. It also doesnt get dirty easily becuase of the material

Not durable. Outer layer had scratches and snags from doing basic things like getting caught on a bush in a park or carrying a log. Thought it would be a environment-proof as their older models.

Im 4"11 I feel like xs was still too big for me but I love everything northface

I ordered a size M and it fits like a Small. Would recommend sizing up . It fits like a cropped jacket!

This is a cute jacket but only if you have tiny arms otherwise you will look like a quarterback

The jacket is very expensive.

I love this jacket. It is well insulated, warm, sewn well, but every single drop of water stains the outer shell, and since it is down, it is a pain to wash and dry. In fact washing and drying will get rid of some stains, but will cause new ones to appear. I am too obsessive to own a jacket like this. Again, I love it. I wear it, but I fixate on the stains. Wash your hands, new stain. Dribble water when drinking water, another stain. Caught in a light rain, stains galore. At some point, I have to let the fixate go, but for the amount of money the jacket costs, it is really disappointing how easily water stains it.

Keep me warm!

This jacket was bought from my credit card by some underground Chinese resell warehouse in Seattle. I would assume the FBI is building a case against them because I'm not the first person or even the 100th person that this has happened to. So they got the jacket. And I had to deal with my bank for hours with this fraudulent transaction and getting a new card. W-L. I'm putting this review in the hopes that Northface will increase security for transactions.
