I was looking for a nice, warm coat and I am so happy with this purchase! I was a little nervous as this was a big purchase for me but getting it on sale helped. It turned out to be so warm and I would absolutely buy this again!

Super warm! I receive so many compliments!

A super warm coat for a very cold winter, not heavy, which is important when you need to walk around the city. I only gave it four stars because the sleeves are too long, and I've never had such issue with other brands.

It's a pretty nice style (for a winter coat). It isn't very bulky but it does feel heavy to wear. It has a zipper that you can pull up from the bottom for a little more room when sitting or driving. Frankly, I find zipping the coat to be a time-consuming annoyance due to this, but the feature is necessary. I haven't worn it in snow yet, but it does keep me dry in rain. Unfortunately the material, therefore, makes a lot of noise when you walk. Putting it on my body makes me feel claustrophobic and miserable, and want to move to an island that never requires a coat like this. But we cannot blame the coat. If you need a coat for winter, this one does exactly what it should.

Excellent winter coat for the super cold days. Light weight and water resistant not only from rain and snow but from all the liquids my two babies spill on me :) great price for a superb quality coat!

Warm coat. I live in Vermont and it's been great on the cold winter days. Love the color. Only thing I don't love is the drawstrings in the pocket. But it's definitely not a deal breaker.

I love this parka! It is fashionable and practical. It keeps me warm during the cold, windy days of winter. The fur is detachable so you can decide if you want it on or not. I am looking forward to wearing this at college to keep me warm on my long walks to class.

A decent parka for a ridiculous price. It looks great on and has some nice features. However, the hood is not adjustable, the sleeves are very long, and the coat overall is not as warm as my previous North Face parka purchased 10 years ago.

I read all the negative reviews but ordered anyway. Apparently the jacket is fully updated taking those into account. I'm 5'7", slim build and size small drapes nicely, not too tight or loose, sleeves a little past my wrists, length a few inches above my knees. The waist drawcord is an added bonus for "figure flattering." Hood stays secure with snaps and zipper. I have two cats and the fabric doesn't attract fur, lint etc. Pockets are deep enough plus a deeper inner pocket. This is a heavier jacket but I expect that - it's a well-insulated parka with a durable fabric - so I see it as doing it's job.

I had an older model of this parka, purchased 10+ years ago. It was bulkier but also much warmer. I never once felt cold in the old one (Ottawa winters), but the new one just isn't as warm. Disappointing. Otherwise, this coat is of great quality and very comfortable.

Love the fabric finish. I bought this jacket to withstand very harsh winters and so far I have not been dissapointed. Very accessible, warm, and good quality. Duck doesn't give me allergies - which it usually does. Also keeps butt and thighs warm, which is a great extra.
