Love this jacket!

Absolutely love this jacket but had to return it. Runs a bit large, love the quality, color and form. North Face never disappoints, so I'll try a different style to get the perfect fit.

I go to school in Pittsburgh and this jacket has saved me. It's so warm and has so many cute practical functions like the extra fabric by the wrists so air can't get in. Highly recommend it's amazing!!

This cost is perfect for NYC winter! I'm warmer than my friends while walking around outside wearing it. The red color is fantastic.

I really liked the fit better than Arctic Parka, the only thing I didnt like is the cuff part which is a little bit loose compared to Arctic one. The zip might be a bit problematic but magnetic closure is a plus since I am not a fun of buttoned version. I cant wait to try it in the cold days of winter!

This is by far the best winter coat North Face has made! Super warm, with great thoughtful details like the built in mittens and magnetic buttons so you don't have to mess with buttons when your hands are cold. Sleeves are a little long for me but I'm petite so it's prob fine for others.

I purchased this jacket because I sometimes have to watch lacrosse games for hours in the FREEZING cold and snow. Though I have a great NF jacket that I use for every day in the winter, it's not warm enough for hours outdoors in the bitterly cold weather of upstate NY. I went to the store and asked for the warmest jacket in the store and they directed me to this one. You can feel the warmth when you put it on. Unlike some other waterproof jackets that have a "plastic" feel to them, this is just soft. I love the mitten hands and the lined pockets as well. The big thing missing is a waist cincher. My other NF jacket has it on the inside so the coat looks smooth on the outside but it's fitted without the belt look. This one is just a straight A-line. The jacket is also on the heavier side but, again, I'd rather carry a little more weight than freeze to death.

I wear on cold and very cold days. It feels protective and good looking. Its the best winter coat I've ever had. It's long enough to cover part of legs and yet has a jacket feel so hiking would work. Side zippers work well for sitting in a car, and they are easy to zip up and down. The front closer with magnets is terrific and the faux fur good is beautiful!

My son purchased this for me last Christmas size S. I told him it was too small, he insisted it fit perfect and I'd never be cold again walking to work. Absolutely correct on the last statement. I put up with the snugness because of the warmth. then, one evening a colleague accidently pushed my chair against a space heater and it melted one side. I was devastated! However ,still wore it for the remaining winter. This year I decided to order a new duplicate size M. Perfect fit and WARM as can be. I gave the S to someone who will give to his Mom. (after patching the melted piece) All Is good.

Been wearing this all around Europe for the winter. It's the perfect outer coat for warm and wet weather. You can wear it just over a shirt if it's in 50s or as a topper over layers for colder weather.

I was looking for a waterproof winter coat that was stylish enough that I could wear it to work and on the weekends, without feeling like I was wearing a ski jacket and this is it! It's comfortable, fits great, and is waterproof. It's a bit heavy because of the waterproof outer layer and can be almost too warm to wear in the car on my commute, but it's so comfortable that I don't mind.

The truth is I haven't worn it in extreme cold weather yet, but by having a North Face coat before I know the standards are high. The cuffs around the wrist is well made, keeps air out. I love the fit, very slimming, giving me a nice shape, and not bulky looking. I'm 5'6 tall, and 138 lbs, I wear a small comfortably with a light sweater. It's really well made, the zippers are nice, blending into the jacket colour (navy blue). It's pricy but I'm sure I will get a good wear with it.

I just received this parka yesterday just in time for 20 degree temperatures and high winds here in New York. It's always a bit scary ordering online as sizing and quality can be unpredictable. This Defdown parks is not only toasty warm but very stylish. So many parkas are bulky and shapeless. This one actually has a slimming effect and looks wonderful on. The attention to detail is apparent throughout the design of this jacket. I love the length of the sleeves as the cuffs can be pulled down to cover your hands in case you forget your gloves. The goose down is very warm and cozy. The magnetic closures along the zipper are so much easier than having to snap individually. The outside pockets are very roomy and zip. The hood fits snugly to protect your head and ears and the synthetic fur is a pretty touch to the overall look. Don't hesitate to buy this jacket...it's the best one I've ever owned!
