I looked at L.L., Eddie, Lands and Patagonia. This jacket gave me everything I was searching for. I wanted a jacket that could provide warmth, moisture repel and a hood for the more extreme times. This jacket should get me through 90% of a mid-west winter. Value, color and style were also considered. I have other Columbia jackets and they have held up well. I feel I made a solid purchase.

Greatest casual and foul weather jacket out there for the money. They make very great gifts and promotional gifts.

This coat is true to color and appears to be made of quality materials both the shell, interior, and the removable inner fleece jacket.

Good ski coat. Looks good. Only complaint is the color of the inner jacket, would have preferred a gray or black option as opposed to the red flannel.

Super lightweight and very cozy. My son absolutely loves the jacket and versatility.

This jacket keeps in heat well without being bulky and allows for close to a full range of movement, it is well designed. The detachable fleece liner is helpful for when I might need to wash the lining.

I have bought 6 of these jackets over the years as my 2 grandsons have grown. They hold up extremely well and are outgrown before wearing out. The boys like these jackets and request this jacket when a new one is needed. They run true to size. They have never had a broken zipper or a ripped seam. Well worth the price.

I bought the jacket for my 14 old grandson. He intends to use for skiing and to take to hockey practices. it is size small and it fits perfect for 66-67 inch tall teenager. He chose mainly for the color but said it is warm, waterproof and looks great.

My husband loves this jacket. He is using it as winter jacket. The fleece part looks amazing and feels great. My husband is XXL but we ordered XL after reading reviews. It does runs big and I do recommend to size down. My husband also likes V cuts, or athletic cuts since he used to be a body builder and has very wide shoulders. This jacket gives him comfortable space around shoulders. Fits nice. My husband has a space for another hoodie under if needed. Good length.
