Wore this over a long-sleeved shirt and the fleece sleeves really create a lot of friction, making it hard to take on and off some times. Like one of this finger traps they give away at school carnivals. Also, the straps at the end of the sleeves are too long/big, making it easy for the inner fleece sleeves to move way inside or way out of the shell. They don't hold them firmly in place very well. Kind of annoying having to adjust them all the time.

I had a Columbia jacket from many years ago and needed to replace it. I Love this coat but the only thing I would change is the fleece liner is a little long and need to be more secured to the coat.

I like the size, quality, weight and layers option. When tried it out it feels warm even though I have not used it in extreme cold environment yet.

Great jacket over all but the inner jacket sleeves are longer than the outer so they are always hanging out of the shell. Other than that I enjoy it.

Overall, The jacket is awesome. The only negative was the coat looks more orange in the web photo.

Great mild winter or fall raincoat. Color is thankfully not as bright as the photos. The fit was perfect, got it in M, 5'10 180. Fleece liner is a little thinner than I would've like and sleeves are too long. Can't speak on durability yet. More to follow.

Is an excelent jacket for winter , spring , fall.

The quality I've learned to expect from Columbia. It fit s well, isn't at all cumbersome, and it looks great (or so I am told!). My only complaint is that the liner in the sleeves tends to ride down below the outer shell sleeve when I put the jacket on - there is only one snap holding the sleeve liner in place. Minor thing, really, easily remedies, but it does annoy me nontheless. Still, a pretty terrific jacket.

Don't know why so many reviews dump on the velco closure, it's heavy duty velco with snaps at the top and bottom so it stays closed just fine. Very warm. Walking outside for 20 minutes and didn't feel any wind getting through.

Well made except your zipper could be heavier duty for such heavy jacket..last jacket zipper broke too soon. please use better quality of zipper.

Fits true to size. Quality of the shell was above what was expected. Large zippers should provide long lasting durability. Looking forward to putting it thru some hard use.

This is a good coat for the price. Previous reviewers commented on the sleeves being annoying when the fleece liner is inserted. I ignored those at the time because that's just the way fleece is. However, the hooks on the end of the jacket sleeve that connect to the fleece sleeve are just too long and unsupportive. The fleece sleeve pulls out about 9 inches. Upon further review, those complaints are warranted and is the one thing I really dislike about this jacket, but not enough to return it. As for warmth, it's good, not great, but adequate for midwest winters. I have worn it in temps in the 20s F with a breeze and was plenty warm. We haven't hit negative temps yet, but I suspect I'll need an additional sweatshirt when that happens. That being said, 99% of the time, this jacket will do the job, and it looks great doing it.

This jacket looks great and fits true to size. You can wear this jacket from the 30s on up and even pull out the fleece liner and wear the shell on cooler rainy days. My only complaint about this jacket is that the fleece liner grabs on to your sleeves when putting it on, making them ride up your arms. The liner also then pokes out from the sleeve of the shell. It's also difficult to wear many layers under the jacket as a result. The fleece liner can also be worn separately and has a subtle plaid pattern that looks nice when headed out on a cool dry day.

Stylish jacket, decent durability and warm enough. This jacket is definitely made for layering up purposes, the fleece like everyone said has longer sleeves; I do a little cuff roll up. But lately I've been running this jacket as a shell for the Omni heat purposes and use a different cold weather hoodie instead of the fleece and I like that better. I feel this jacket is good enough for the temperature in the teens, without being too active to stay warm. If your active, I think this jacket could be warmer. For what it's worth I generally have a base layer, cold weather hoodie and then the shell. I bought this jacket with durably shell in mind and it's done the job. I really like lightweight puffer jackets for warmth but for my uses I go through them quickly; they only last a season or two, so far this one has held up to the same tasks as I put the other jackets through with no damage or noticeable wear

my 13 year old says that sometimes when outside, the bottom unzips and he has to re-zip the jacket.

Great warm coat..roomy fit..sleeves of fleece do stick out but this tends to keep the wrists warm which is nice. Walk every morning in about 20 degrees only a tee shirt under. Not very breathable and does get a lot of condensation inside the shell but it dries quick.

I like it it's comfortable and keeps me warm

Good quality and fit except for the length of the arms. They were just too long for me. I have bought other Columbia jackets with no fit issues so maybe it was just this one. I had to return it even though this was the only problem I had with the coat.

this jacket is very useful and very soft to wear. its warm enough in the winter, its shell protects from the rain and its fleece is very good in mild weathers. This is the best shell + fleece combination of the columbia.

Bought the jacket. The shell feels not too soft nor too hard, which fits my need. The fleece keeps you warm. The size runs a little larger but that allows for wearing other clothes in winter. Overall I am satisfied with this jacket.

This jacket is a nice 3 season purchase

This jacket replaced a Columbia that had gotten a little worn, and that had an integral liner. I like the fleece for the warmth, but the sleeve loops don't quote hold it tight enough so if you're wearing. Long sleeve shirt, it will pull an inch or two of the fleece out of the end when putting it on, and try to pull out/invert when taking off. Overall it is quite nice and warm though.
