I've only had this coat a couple days but it is exactly what I was looking for. It's great in length, it is the longer of the shorter coats that Northface has - It almost covers my butt which is the length I wanted. I have room to layer and feel like I can move around well when wearing it. It's not too heavy but still very warm. I'm 5'1, 135 lbs and purchased a medium, it fits great!

This is a great coat. I live in MN where it dips below freezing and this coat keeps you warm in high winds. Paired with a good scarf or balaclava and gloves and you don't need to worry about any weather being too cold. I am 5'7" and 150 and the medium diets perfectly. Not too tight in the chest.

I live where it is foggy and cold most of the year and this jacket it great! Super warm even if you are just wearing a t-shirt underneath it but also works for wearing multiple layers underneath it. I am 5'3 and about 112 pounds and the x-small jacket fits perfect.

This jacket is a bit heavier and warmer than most of the puffy's out there. Which is good and bad, warmer but harder to layer. It's not overly clingy stretchy but it does the job. Over all it's a really nice jacket.

Looks great on and is very warm. Only downside is the feathers aren't always complacent but you can kind of move them around with wear.

I purchased both the Stretch Down (white) and the Women's Aconcagua (black). I love both jackets, but I think I prefer the Aconcagua. For reference, I'm 5'4 and 115 lbs. and bought medium in both jackets. I like the fit/feel of the Aconcagua a little better. However, the Stretch Down Jacket is heavier and warmer, but might be a little bit much for the climate I live in. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase either jacket again. Both are made of outstanding quality. I do wish that care/cleaning instructions were included in the package

A beautiful accent to my wardrobe not too heavy. I would love to have a hidden hood in the collar

The first jacket I purchased had some issues with unraveling thread and feathers but north face was lovely and exchanged it without any hassle- this is a good jacket but the zipper comes up high and rubs under my chin which is uncomfortablealso size downI'm typically a medium and purchased a small which fits perfectly even over thicker sweaters. Overall I prefer the previous version of this jacket that I had for over 10 years and felt better constructed

The jacket is great for warmth. I am concerned that it has already developed fraying of the jacket ticking after only two months use.

Love this jacket, I only wish it had a hood and that the zipper when all the way zipped didn't get in my face/scratch my chin.

Love the fit. But it is loud! Makes a terrible swishing sound when you move you arms. Just annoying.

The jacket wasn't as thick as I expected it to be, but it seems warm enough. It's been great for the Florida winter, haven't tested it in real cold yet!

I love how warm and comfortable this jacket is, however, for the price tag I expect all aspects of it to be quality and not having an embroidered logo seems cheap. I have other less expensive North Face pieces that have the log embroidered on. It would be nice to know if the company has a valid reason behind this, or is just trying to save a buck.
