I normally wear a 41 with Dansko and 40 was a much better fit. These are very cute shoes that serve that fantastic mix of amazingly comfortable while being cute and professional. The strap is very wide, which makes for a more trendy look than your average mary jane. The back rises high, which is also interesting from the way it appears as well as helps to increase the overall support of the shoe. I wore these two days in a row while interviewing for a job, that involved walking between meetings, and found these to be fantastic, comfortable, and my feet didn't hurt at all at the end of the day. I wore them both with a pants suit and also with a dress and they worked well with both looks.

Attention wearers of Passport Plum. (You know who you are.) The Dansko Roxanne is the answer. This shoe fits the bill perfectly. After cycling through roughly 10 pair of work shoes of all kinds and brands and being in nothing but pain and mystery, I have found the holy grail with this Dansko Roxanne. The Velcro “buckle” is terrific offering convenience and adjustable comfort. This shoe offers excellent arch support, has a wide toe box for bigger feet, perfect width and is stylish as well. Thanks Dansko for saving my feet. I’ll be ordering a back up pair. Love these shoes!

With Dansko clogs, I'm a 43 - and can wear thick socks. However, I need a professional-looking shoe to wear with pant suits to court, etc. These fit the bill, even though the largest size was a 42. I can wear with trouser stockings. These are now my go-to shoes - wear them 4-5 days out of 5 workdays. I do wish that the heel weren't so obviously rubber - perhaps a stronger black would help. I do like the velcro closing - makes fastening much easier. Would definitely purchase again.

They fit how Dansko's have always fit. Great arch support, a lot of cushion. Very supportive and feel like I can walk in them all day. They don't have that rocking walk, but they stay put and you have a normal shoe feel. I bought the brown color and they are beautiful. It is a lot to pay for a shoe, but I have a hard time with wide feet and high arches and high instep, and left foot is a big bigger than right one..... Dansko usually works for me. I wish they could do without the Mary Jane strap, as a pump would be less "comfort shoe" looking, but other than that, no complaints.

I ordered these in 9.5 brown and they were simply gorgeous. Super comfortable with a wonderful footbed. I returned them because they are very similar to a pair of Earth shoes I bought last year, and at this price point, I don't need two pairs of shoes almost identical. But if not, I would have kept them for sure as they are pretty, comfortable and well made.

I just had my first 8 hour day on my feet. These shoes did not betray me. Love the arch support and cushion. Unlike other competitors, I found this shoe to have the best space for my toes. I might even try to wear them with thin striped socks as they definitely have a heavier witchy shoe look.

I usually wear a 39 in Dansko shoes, and typically order a size 40 in Dansko tennis shoes, etc. But for some reason these were just too loose in the toe box and heel in my normal size 39. So I sent them back and got size 38 and they're pretty much perfect so I'm definitely keeping them. I think if they made a 38.5 it would be ideal. The high part behind the heel is actually nice, and adds more support. These shoes are stylish and comfortable without looking 'clunky'. MAJOR bonus, my orthotics fit in them nicely since all Dansko's footbeds are removable.

LOVE??! After a summer of nothing but sandals and low Birks, I’ve sought a professional closed-toe black shoe with some heel. After trying many, I found these. They are perfect, and I knew it the moment I put them on. No need to pack emergency ballet flats. These stay comfy for the long haul. Not your boring pump. Pricy, but worth it for a go-to grown up shoe.

These very comfortable heels fit my US 11 size-foot well. Grateful for that, since finding a shoe made in a large enough size (11.5 is almost non-exsistant) Is a real struggle for me. That said, they do, you know, look like a Dansko: they look biggish, have a rubber heel, there is Velcro under the false buckle. It took me a minute to realize that I should keep them because I was comparing them to more stylish and dressy (and much less comfortable) Mary Jane heels. But now I love them and think of them as my go to winter casual shoe, much like a slip on sandel would be my summer standard. They are actually roomy enough to wear with thin socks, is fun. Inside is smooth and comfortable on bare feet as well. Maybe I am a Dansko person after all!

Right out of the box I could wear these all day. Arch support is critical for me and these had an ideal amount. Love these shoes! Look great with dresses, suites, or pants.

I was able to wear these all day right out of the box. The buckled strap is velcro, so easy on and off. Very stable shoe - I can run in these. They don’t slip on tiled floors, but they do squeak a bit when wet. They are narrower than most Danskos, which is perfect for me. If they came in other colors, I would buy another pair or two.

These are very cute and comfortable. I purchased the Dansko Loralie at the same time thinking that the Roxanne would be the keeper. I ended up liking the Loralie better, a little cushier due to the sole. I almost always wear size 8 and have always purchased Danskos 38's and these were also a perfect fit. I think the toe box is a tad bit roomier on the Roxanne if that is a concern. I can wear trouser socks or gold toe crews ( a bit heavier) with both of these shoes. Once again another great shoe by Dansko!!

I usually wear mules type heels because of my narrow heel and wide toe area. However, I’m having some feet issues due to running and the doc recommended I stay away from less structured shoes. To be honest, I don’t need a heel more than once a week for about 3 hours. These were fine for me. Like most Dansko shoes, I get heel slippage with these. However because of the Velcro strap my heel is held in place. The shoe is comfortable with not too high a heel. I don’t know whether I would last all day in these, but given their comfort level I would take a chance and try them out. My normal shoe size is a 7. The 37 6.5/7) works fine for me.

Too narrow in the toe box. But other than that seemed good. I have hard feet to fit but people who don't would probably have a good experience with these.

Cute, but painful. Terrible blisters from a tight toe box and seam that rubs agains the little toe. Disappointing. Unwearable.

Fit was good and style is good however they gave me the worse blister on the side of my foot where I’ve never had a blister before. I’ve worn fa ski clogs in the past with no problems. I could barley walk after 6 hours in the shoes. I’d give comfort negative stars if I could. Waste of money!!!!

Been hemming and hawing about ordering these shoes for months. I needed to replace a pair of shoes for my office job; something to wear when boots are too wintry but it's too cold for sandals. I had a pair of Dansko clogs long ago and remember them being sort of loose on my feet, so I figured the same size in a closed non-clog shoe might fit as it should. Fortunately, I was right! My feet are hard to fit; I have a narrow heel and a somewhat wide forefoot, and my second toe is longer than the others. I figured if anything, these shoes might be too small. My foot is a 6 in sandals and 6.5 in shoes. I ordered the 36, same as my clog size, and they were fine. They are a tad bit loose in the heel, but the velcro strap across the shoe keeps that from being an issue. That strap, by the way, is wide and very secure. If anyone needs arch support, the inserts in these provides that, although that isn't something I really need. The shoes are cute with the back that comes up slightly and the assymetrical design at the top in the toe area. These were the most expensive shoes I've ever purchased, but between the covid and no vacation this year, I figured it was a reasonable purchase! Very pleased with these shoes and can't wait to wear them to work.

I typically wear a size 6.5-7 so I originally purchased the size 37. They were huge! I literally had 2 inches of extra space. I sized down to the 36 and they fit perfectly. The asymmetrical top cutout is adorable. It is not obvious in the product pictures but it makes these shoes unique. I bought them because I have another pair of 2" Dansko heels that I wear to work and they are incredibly fashionable and functional. I am on my feet a lot and I have to walk a distance to transportation. I definitely recommend these as a truly comfortable pair of dress shoe.

Love the look of these shoes. I wear a size 8 and I ordered the size 38 which is 7.5 to size 8. They are a little big. I would say probably a half size. I’m afraid if I go down a size then they won’t fit so I’m keeping this pair and just going to put a heel liner in the back. The Velcro strap does a great job of securing the shoe. Very comfortable. Great to wear with jeans Or dresses.

So pretty and really looked great on, but they were a smidge too long for my feet. I might have been able to wing it if they had a lower heel, unfortunately the higher heel and too-big fit made my feet slip forward and would’ve caused problems walking. Was tempted to size down but I had a feeling they would have been too snug (41 wasn’t quite a full size too large). Beautiful shoe, though, which is a nice pick-me-up when you’re teaching/being on your feet all day!

As a flight attendant, these are my go-to heels and I've owned multiple pairs. A 39 fits my 9.5 feet and have plenty of width and no rubbing. The straps are velcro and allow easy slip-off for airport security. They are nonskid and don't clack when you walk. They stay comfortable throughout long days on my feet. Love them!

I really like this show. It fits well, maybe a little wide but that’s ok because of the strap. The heel fits well which is great for me because I have a narrow heel. Not saying it would work for everyone but it does for me. First heels I’ve been able to wear in forever. So often they are way to wide for me this look classy and I love the color. It’s the gray one. Or real gray not real brown. I will enjoy these.

I have many pairs of Dansko shoes and always take a size 38. These in size 38 were much too big for me, so I returned them. Other than size, they are really cute shoes that are quality-made!

I was looking for a comfortable, yet dressy brown shoe that I could wear to work where I have to walk long distances outside and inside. I am a true size 12 in running sneakers (Brooks) and depending on the make and model of shoe, can range from a 10.5 - 12 (42-43) medium width, depending on the height of the heel (the higher the heel, the smaller the shoe). These Dansko Roxanne's came out of the box ready to wear. I ordered a size 42 (the largest size they offer) and they fit great. The toe box was large enough that my toes were not pinched at all and the heel was sufficiently narrow with a strong velcro strap to keep the shoe in place. I literally ran the entire day between meeting after meeting after meeting and I had not one hot spot or blister. In terms of other shoes and sizes I have purchased recently, I also wear a Size 42 in Pikolinos Huelma W2Z-7700 (which are also awesome by the way); however, when I tried Size 42 in the L'Artiste by Spring Step line, they were way too small. I would say that these Dansko Roxanne's in Size 42 run around an American size 11.5.
