Within a week of wearing these, the inner sole shifted at the heal, such that it is uncomfortable and wearing them causes back pain.

Not the best but good enough if you can get them on sale. As others have mentioned, the lip in the back is uncomfortable when it hits the bottom of your heel. If I slide my foot as far forward as it can go, it seems to be ok. The material is a bit stiff/tight over the top of the foot. There's also a hard seam under the toe area that is a bit bothersome. I'm keeping them because my Acorn slippers have completely flattened out, and I needed a replacement. If I had paid full price for these Sorels, I would be returning. They're good enough since I got them on sale.

These are my 3rd pair of Nakisas unfortunately this pair just isnt the same. The insole is not nearly as comfortable and the instep padding is also not as nice. They are definitely not the same slipper and no longer worth the spend.

Very hot inside. Not good for California winters.

I like the new slippers. I gave 3 stars because I don't like them as well as the older style that I had which is no longer available. I loved my older style slippers that were not a slide style. As others have mentioned, I had to size up from the size that previously fit me.

I have to agree with the other reviewers who are saying that the quality appears to have changed. I've been buying these slippers for 8 years. This was going to be my third pair, but I can plainly see that the quality is different. The "fur" doesn't look as nice, they feel like they have less arch support, and the overall look of them is cheaper. In general, I feel like Sorel quality has declined in the last few years. Switching to Uggs in the hopes that they are still higher quality.

I am a little sad this time. I have loved my slippers in the past but this pair is a bit narrow at the toes and I may have needed at least a half size larger.

I have loved all my previous Sorel purchases. I thought this slipper would be the same as past ones and last several years. It fit perfectly on first wearing, yet in less than a month, it was bent out of shape in the heel area. Even though I am a fanatically neat & tidy clothing and shoe wearer, the inside of the slipper fur was dirty within a month, whether I was wearing socks or was barefooted. I tried to to pull the inner fur sole out of the slipper so I could wash it and it won't budge!! (Sorel: "why don't you line the slippers with a dark colored fur or dye it same color as dark felt front and back???") I'm still wearing my recently purchased Nakiska Slide II slippers, since I gave my previous slippers to a family member, yet I'm just not happy putting them on when the inside is dirty and the back is crunched down. Sorry Sorel, but this choice was not a winner for me!

Warm and good for running small errands but not enough heel support. The flexible, non slip bottoms are great but the heel support is minimal and feels like it's wearing down after a week of use. Would not buy again.

Every single year I've gotten Nakiska slippers for Christmas. When I got this year's pair I was a little concerned that Sorel redesigned their long-adored Nakiska's, why mess with a good thing? So my review is really a comparison to the old version. These are definitely tighter across the top. I always go with a 9 - I normally wear an 8-8.5 - so I can wear a pair of socks with them, there's no way I can do that with these. They were actually so tight they were uncomfortable for the first few days. If you have wide feet these will probably be uncomfortable for you too. They are also more narrow than their predecessors. It seems the way they've designed the new version does not allow for a lot of flex or movement so they felt restrictive. The quality looks to be the same as the original.

Love these slippers, but not going to use them out of the house. The rubber sole sticks to the floor so will be sending them back. Might wear off after some time, but I'm really just looking for a traditional slipper sole.

The original Nakisha was much More comfortable. The Nakisha Slide II is cheaply made, the fur is not the same, and I wish I had bought the original, but u didn’t have it.

These run small and aren't made to last a while. I am a size 7.5 in shoes so I ordered an 8 and I can barely fit my foot inside WITHOUT socks on. Also, the lining started to lift on the first day every time I put my foot into the slipper. Perhaps this wouldn't be an issue if I ordered a size 9. The slippers are tight and very narrow. Returning.

I bought these to replace a pair just like them that I've worn out! I loved them. But the new ones I just got don't even compare in the slightest way. The fur on the inside is cheap and flattening out after only a few wears and aren't nearly as comfy. What happened to the quality??

I bought a size 9 because 8.5 was unavailable. The size 9 is too small for me...my heal rests against the heel of the slipper and sometimes when walking, my feet slide out onto the back part and is uncomfortable. I will be returning them. The quality is good for Sorel, so maybe it is just the design that makes it too small for me.

I used to love my Sorel slippers and have ordered a pair every year for the last few years. They have changed them recently. They are no longer as comfortable, the footbed is flat and stiff and they seem to be made out of cheaper materials. I'm so sad as these used to be my favorite!

I've ordered three - four pairs of the Nakiska Slide II over the past several months and returned them all. One pair was so poorly made the heel was already coming apart, another was tiny (a a half size smaller than I wear (I'm a true 5.5 and can usually wear a 5 if the footbed is not too short or a 6 if it is), another in was the wrong color and very poorly made. I've ordered them in 5 and 6 and I marked this review as 'narrow' for the 5s,not that it matters much in a slide slipper because they do stretch, but because the smallest pair crushed my toes putting it on and I don't have particularly wide feet. I have worn Sorel Nakiskas for literally over a decade and count on their support, quality and style and most importantly, comfort. I live in Florida and North Carolina and they have been perfect for both climates. I'm hoping that when the COVID supply chain impact eases, the usual Sorell quality will return and I can get the slipper that I used to from Sorel. Until then my three year old pair will have to do.

Been wearing the original Nakiska for about 15 years, buying a new pair every few years. Apparently its been discontinued & I'm disappointed. No more Sorel for me. Why get rid of a best seller & loyal customer??? Thank you

These did not hold up well at all, after a few months they were falling apart and the bottoms of the shoe soak up everything you step on - it is very gross!

I have been wearing the original Natiska slide for years and ordered this one in the same size, not realizing it has been redesigned. This new one i couldn't even get my foot into and the lip on the back is weird. Going right back!
