I ordered these Sorel slippers and a pair of LL Bean to try. The LL Bean was too heavy, clunky and just overall too much shoe. The Sorels are lighter weight and have a decent enough sole so that I dont feel the hardwood flores on my feet. Not much arch support but ok for slippers. I wear a size 9 and ordered size 9 and they fit just fine. I know my feet will sweat and make them smelly after awhile so I end up replacing them every year.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my daughter to replace another pair of Sorel slippers, which were old and worn out. She hasn't given them a true test of time yet, but said they were tight. Based on another review I told her about, she said she thought that once the fuzzy insides got worn down, they would probably fit well.

Soft & made well. I couldn’t keep my feet from sliding out when I walked. This style wasn’t for me.

I had to purchase a half size up so the slipper is slightly bigger than I would love it to be. This is why I picked a 4 rating vs. a 5 rating. Otherwise, I love Sorel shoes for quality and comfort. They last long... years... and wear well. I'm looking forward to seeing how these will break in over time.

I like the look and basic feel and they are definitely cozy, but I need high arch support and a more stable sole. These have low arch support and they are not flat on the bottom so the rock. If I was 30 years younger I would absolutely love them. Also, one quirk you might want to know is the rubber sole is sticky and the paper from the packaging was stuck to it and when I walked around the house to try them out I had a heck of a time getting the lint off of them. Sending them back.

Yes, the slipper may feel snug b/c of all the shearling at first but soon they will fit great. I've had at least 3 pairs of these slippers over the years ... my all-time favorites. The first pair(s) lasted so long that I could just replace the shearing insoles with some from LLBean and keep going. I loved the contrasting colored stitching those had. Sorel changed the design - lost the contrast, added lip with large name, and unfortunately lost some durability it seems. On my last two pairs, the rubber sole edges began to separate over time from the upper. On the first of these, I tried gluing the edges down but eventually the stitching came loose and rubber tore off. I wear them a lot ... maybe I've gotten my money's worth, but I may try a different brand when this last pair falls apart. I really have loved the slippers otherwise and wish Sorel would continue making them but securing the sole better.

They fit well we’re warm. Good soles and arch support.

The left slipper is very short. Rest is great. Have to return.

The problem I had with these slippers was that the sole was too soft.
