I was looking for the perfect snow boot, and perfect cold weather walking boot. This is it! Very warm and comfortable, and looks great. I usually wear 9.5 but went up to a 10 to be sure it's comfy with thick socks.

These boots are very comfortable, keep your feet warm and dry. The boots are true to size don't feel narrow and have plenty of room for your toes. Highly recommend.

After reading many reviews, I decided to order a half size up from my usual. I wear a size 7 in pretty much every brand I've ever tried, but I am glad I ordered 7.5 for these. They fit perfectly. They are fantastically comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find they have a bit of arch support inside as well - something I greatly need. I have a circulation disorder (Raynaud's disease) and struggle with my toes getting too cold. So far that has not been an issue with these boots - they keep my toes toasty! I have used them for going out to shovel snow and they do seem to be fully waterproof as claimed. They also have great traction on the icy walkways. Very glad I bought them and worth the cost.

We purchased a half-size bigger, based on the reviews, and should have gone with her normal size.

I’ve only worn these around the house for a bit, but I’m pleased. I usually wear a 10.5 to small 11. While I do not wear a narrow, my feet are a tad more narrow than a standard medium width. I read that Sorel runs a bit small and I ordered the size 11. They fit absolutely perfectly and are more comfortable than my running shoes. These are more comfortable than the $250 boots I bought from a company of German origin that is famous for its supportive soles.

I'm really happy with these boots. All the reviews were very helpful in my decision to order these. For me, the length, even with a thicker wool sock was right on. I buy an 8 in tennis shoes and thats what I purchased. I didn't find them to be too narrow as some people mentioned, actually perfect. They are light weight and have some cush in the heal making them easy to walk in. Thanks to our weather, Ive had a chance to walk dogs and shovel in temps below 0 so have worn them outside for extended periods of time. My feet did not get cold and I have a problem with cold feet (Renauds Syndrome). Don't be put off by their light weight. For my purpose, walking dogs, shoveling, winter hiking they are great.

I love these so much! Just got back from a week long trip in Alaska and these were perfect! Absolutely comfortable. I ordered an 8 and I'm between a 7.5 and an 8. Perfectly snug fit with a wool sock. No blisters and slipping. Can't say enough good things.

I live in Chicago and purchased these boots to walk the dog around my neighborhood, I wanted a taller boot that would keep my feet warm and comfortable in the snow. These boots to run true to size, I typically wear a size 9 in shoes and 9.5 in sneakers/boots and ordered a 9.5 (my typical Sorel size). I have enough room for a thick sock but my foot is not swimming in these with a normal sock. The style is cute and I can comfortably walk a few miles in the cold and snow, definately not as heavy and clunky as other Sorel styles.

I'm in love with these boots and have purchased an extra pair! I live in the mountains of Colorado. Snow is common -- as is ice. It doesn't get too awfully cold here but these will do the trick regardless. I have worn Sorels for years. My latest pair was warm and durable but SO heavy that they caused me a great deal of pain in my hip (torn labrum) while walking in deeper snow, and overall they just felt like bricks on my feet, though they did look cute, were warm, held up to the intense weather and didn't irritate my fussy feet. The Sorel Whitney is my dream come true. I've been looking and looking and looking for the perfect boot: lightweight, narrow in the heel, adaptable to my fussy bunions, lighter and good traction. I found all of that and more in this boot. I just walked my dog and it's 30 degrees out, we were on a snowy trail, and I didn't even bother to wear socks -- that's how warm and comfortable they are. Light as a feather, too. Now, in pure ice, I'd probably sling on my Yak Trax but overall these are perfect. On sizing: I wear an 8.5-9M in most shoes/boots. In Sorels, I'm a solid 9M. These fit perfectly right out of the box. They have great arch support, and I want to emphasize again the narrow heel -- if you have a narrow foot that slides all over the place in winter boots, give these a try. My heel feels nicely tucked in, no chafing, and amazingly comfortable. Well done, Sorel!

Love that Sorel brought this boot back from last year but with a taller shaft. Very lightweight, comfortable and great to keep the wet weather off your feet. Runs a half size small. Great if you have a wider calf since the material is nylon.

I work in a refrigerated warehouse environment. The first day in them was a 10 hour shift in 37°f all day. Warm and comfy all day and even grip the damp floor well. So far worth every penny. And cute too.

I ordered these in a 9.5 based on the reviews, and I'm happy I did. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 depending on the brand but these definitely run small. The 9.5 fits great. These shoes are super warm and comfy. I got them to walk dogs in and they're perfect for that. They have a kind of sneaker bottom with a snow boot top and they're very light weight so they're good for walking around all day. I haven't tried them in the rain or snow yet but I imagine they'll work fine. My only complaint is that I wish there were more loops for the ties. They bunch a little because there is so much space between each lace loop. Still, very happy overall.

This is a great looking boot if you're going for a casual style. I appreciate that it is lightweight and has a sole closer to a regular hiking shoe, making it more comfortable for walking and running about in snow. Although the length was ok at my regular size, I unfortunately found the fit far too narrow and will be returning them.

Very comfortable and waterproof got for my daughter BUT had to exchange twice runs at least two full sizes small and the reason I couldn't give the 5 stars. Daughter wears a 6.5 normally in tennis shoes, and we finally kept size 9 that allowed for wiggle room and room to grow for next season (she's only 10).

shaft is short and really nothing impressive about this boot at all. The toe bed is kind of narrow, esp for a snow boot which should have a big solid wide base and room for thick socks; Traction is just okay

easy to slip your foot in but a bit slim on the foot meaning the width should be a bit more ample. other than that excellent feel the look is great and easy to slip in your foot in and out.

I typically wear an 8 or 8.5 and from the other reviews thought a 9 would be fine, but sadly, after trying them with a thin sock they felt snug. Knowing I would be wearing thick socks in the cold decided I had to return them. Was really hopeful they would work but be prepared to for smaller than normal sizing.

I really like the Whitney Short boot from last season but this one was sadly a disappointment. The boot looked great, was very warm, pretty much everything I was expecting and wanted. What let me down was the arch or insert in the left boot which felt like my foot was on a small hill. The right boot was fine and comfortable enough but the left was very uncomfortable. Had to return.

Boot sizes run small especially since they are lined and then add that thick socks will be worn. I ordered 1 size up and still small
