This boot was very comfy and warm. I have a somewhat wide foot across the ball and these fit just fine out of the box, so may not work well for those with narrow feet.

Super comfy, pretty warm, but I'm a bit worried that they're not as water resistant as I was hoping, but I'm just going to put a spray on them to enforce the waterproofness.

I usually wear a size 8, after reading the reviews I ordered a size 9. Fit is good. Shoes are very cushy, warm and comfortable. They are not super bulky, which is what I liked about them. I haven't worn these in the snow, but, I see myself wearing them a lot this winter. I couldn't decide between the tan and gray, but went with the gray. Happy with the color, true to the picture.

These are comfy and cool looking, though I’ve yet to take them outside. Heed the advice about size, though — these run small! I’m usually either an 8 or 8.5 so I ordered 8.5 and my toes were all the way squished. Had to go up to a 9 which I virtually never do.

This boot is super cute and warm but def need to size up one full size.

These boots are really cute and comfy inside. Only issue is they don't have a wide foot option and I usually wear an 8.5. I had to get a whole size up (9.5) to allow my foot to fit. comfy but a little bulky since I had to go up in a size. They still fit ok so I will keep them but it was strange regarding the size. I never had to go up in a size like that before.

Runs small

Everything about this boot is wonderful, and holds up to rain and cold weather. However, the design of the sole is oddly and unusually small and narrow... although it is comfortable, my foot feels and appears to be ‘overflowing’. It wasn’t off putting enough for me to send back, so I am still pleased with the boot.

Loved these lightweight snow boots but am returning them because they aren't as tall as I wanted.

I love these boots for style, warmth, and comfort. The sizes are totally off though. I normally wear size 6, I have ordered 6.5 based on the reviews, it was super small. I had to return, and the size that finally worked for me was 7.5, a full 1.5 size larger than my normal size. It's just a hassle and time consuming.

Very comfortable, like a gumshoe, with decent enough flexibility and support to wear all day. I had to go a full size up though.

Omg I loved. However, sadly I had to return because of sizing only. I’m generally a size 7 in boots. I ordered these along with the PDX in size 7, these Joan’s ran truly half a size to small! The PDX fit perfect. I think because of the padding in these. Otherwise these are great looking boots. I’m sadden to return. I would have exchanged but the wine color was no longer available. I hope they get more in a larger size so I can reorder these.

In my Joan of Arc boots I am a size 7. In these, I ordered a 7.5, and it was still too small. I should have ordered an 8.

I was looking for a winter boot style that I could run errands in around town while wrangling my two young babes. I have a D width (barely wide) and in the past have favored Uggs but are finding as I age that the boot just doesn’t hold up to regular use and the sole has lacks the support I now need. So, I received this in my regular size and it was too snug for my comfort. I suspect the sizing was done this way to give room for stretch. This type of leather is soft and prone to easily stretch. However, in my opinion the foot bed is unlike Uggs and not “comfy” enough to wear without socks. I sent them back for the next size up and it was a fit! I’ve been wearing these regularly for 2 weeks and the sole has become more flexible and feels more comfortable. I suspect I may only get 3 or 4 seasons based on the outside material.

I like this boot. It is comfortable and warm. The online image is an accurate depiction of the color for both quarry and wine. There were two things that I didn't like. First, the tongue is not attached to the shoe the entire way up the shaft. This means that if you step in snow/slush that is deep enough that there is a place for the moisture to permeate into the inside your boot. I expect more from Sorel. The second thing that I didn't like, and should have realized before I purchased the boot, is the color of sole of the shoe. It's too light and it occurred to me that one step in dirty slush, and there is a real possibility that the sole will get stained and the boot will look grungy. Since the black boot has a black sole, it seems like the choice that would solve this problem. But I really LOVE the quarry boot! Unfortunately, I'm just too concerned about the color of the sole holding up when I'm tromping around sidewalks in slush filled with road dirt and grime. For this reason, I decided to return them. I agree with the other reviews to order a half size up. I normally wear and 8.5 or 9. A 9 was too tight. A 9.5 fit great.

After reading other’s reviews and seeing how many thought these boots ran small, I decided to order a half size up. Even that was not enough! I returned them for another half size up. Now that the fit is right, I really like them! They are warm (the number one thing I was looking for) but also soft and flexible.

In order to wear the boots with warm socks, I had to go up a full size. The boots are light weight and are comfortable. The suede is very soft. I plan on wearing them when walking my dog on cold days. They look very stylish with my skinny jeans.

THE SIZE IS TOO SMALL I'M SIZE 9 AND I ORDER 9 1/2 ITS STILL TOO SMALL, I WILL ORDER SIZE 11, AND I WILL SEE HOW IT FITS. THANK ZAPPOS FOR AN EASY RETURN.

These were cute and feminine for a snow boot. I like that they can be laced up tightly so that they form to the foot nicely. Makes for a less clunky look. They feel narrower than normal. I wish Sorel made them in a wide because that would feel like a regular.

Definitely order at least a half size up! These are super cute, and incredibly cozy to wear. The inner fleecy material feels very nice. It feels like walking on a cloud! The boots are supple and not constricting. I haven't been out in snow or rain yet, so I can't tell how they react to water. These are great outfits in the cold, but be aware that they will probably make your feet too warm for wearing all day indoors! Even with thin socks, I have to take them off periodically if I wore them to work. Also be aware that the color differences are very subtle- I ordered quarry and it looks more solid grey than I originally thought, though the picture seems to look grey with greenish accents. I may get other laces in a different color to change it up. Overall, very fun shoes! Sorel has delivered another stylish and useful product.

As some reviewers have already said, these boots are so ridiculously sized that it is impossible to know what size to order. I am always a 9 in boots or athletic shoes, and the 9 1/2 in these is way too tight -- too short and too narrow. I am trying the 10 and I'll see how they fit. The boots are cozy and good looking, but I'm not sure they offer enough support for an almost-70 year old who has had foot surgeries!
