I bought these because I needed something to wear to work. Now that we are curbside I needed something lite enough, with support, but also something I could wear in the snow. I like that they are not bulky or heavy. I wear a 9.5. These do run small. I ordered a 10. I should've ordered a 10.5 as I like to wear a wool sock for extra warmth. I would've given them five stars but I think there is room for improvement with the arch support. Also they can be quite slippery going from snow to a dry hard surface.

I bought these boots in tan yesterday and as soon as I put them on ~ Love! They do run small, as I usually wear an 8.5. Had to size up to a 9, especially since I plan on wearing boot socks.

Just got these and I love them other than the fur on the black boots is not at all like it shows online. I expected it to be a tan color like in the picture and it's a bluish gray color that doesn't match the boot at all.

I want to start by saying why my review gets 4 instead of 5 stars. I am very pleased with my purchase and the boot overall- I just moved to Alaska after living in North Carolina most of my life, and so I wanted something fashionable yet functional as I take on my first winter. The shoe checks both of those boxes for me, I find them warm, extremely comfortable, and very versatile. I listened to other reviews and went an entire size up, I'm normally an 8.5 (however in my other pair of Sorels I have a 9). So in terms of shoe size, I say go up a whole size but in terms of your Sorel size, maybe only half a size. That being said, they are pretty roomy for me and my heel slips a tad, but I think a 9 would've been too snug on the toes, so if you want the extra room, definitely size up. I was a little disappointed with the color, I ordered the ancient fossil, expecting a light sandy brown, yet in person they appear more gray to me (even my husband thinks they're gray). I liked the shoe and color enough overall to not want to deal with the hassle of exchanging them. So these will become my neutral gray pair and I'll remain on the hunt for a brown/tan winter boot.

size chart is a little off. i had to exchange my original purchase for a larger size. have yet to see how they hold up in the snow. love this boot tho, so cute and very warm. delivery was very fast.

This is my 4th pair of sorel winter boots! When Spending a lot of time in the snow it's great to have comfortable and warm boots that wear well! I first ordered the purple color but it bleeds so reordered this color! I did have to size up by 1/2 size which leaves some room but otherwise they are great

This boot most definitely runs small. I've never been an 8.5 in my entire life and absolutely needed 1/2 to 1 whole size bigger in order to get an appropriate fit (with Darn Tough wool winter socks). Very comfortable, very sturdy, good quality however. Worth it.

After reading reviews, I was concerned about the sizing so I went in person to figure out which size would work best for me. I am normally a size 5.5 and I tried all incremental sizes from 5.5 to 8 and ended up getting a size 7. It was exciting for me because I've never owned a pair of size 7 shoes before in my life. The shoe bottom is definitely too large for me. I think the issue of this year's model is that the shaft of the shoe is a lot closer to the front of the shoe than it should be. Therefore, if you order your normal size, your toes end up jamming at the front. All that being said, I still enjoy the warmth and comfort of the shoe. I got them in the color Burro and it's a really beautiful color. I just have to walk more carefully since the bottoms are so much bigger. I really do love Sorel. Not only for their products but their customer service is also top notch. If they could just tweak the placement of the shaft, I'd give it 5 stars! (I own 6 pairs of Sorels and all the other ones are all 5 star!)
