The Velcro isn’t in the right spots, so to make these snug and keep them on, there’s barely enough Velcro to hold the shoe in place.

Bought these for my two daughters. Super cute and waterproof, but the velcro on BOTH pairs stopped working after less than 2 months of intermittent wear (never even got to try them in the water!). Zappos great customer service saved the day as usual, full refund so we could purchase new sandals. Surprised at the quality because Native is a pretty good brand.

The shoes are cute, but the Velcro has worn out on both shoes after only a month of intermittent wear. Very disappointed in the quality of these shoes.

I love Natives and these are cute, but the front velcro straps make these a mess to keep on. My little one was off testing them out in the backyard (unfortunately, otherwise I would have returned them) - but she takes them off within 5-10minutes of wearing them, and is constantly playing with the front straps. Worried they will lead to a skinned knee at some point, and I wouldn't send her to daycare in them. Disappointing! I would not recommend this style.

My daughter’s 2nd pair! We ordered her a 7 (she is 22 months) knowing it would be big - the great thing about these sandals is that you can tighten the straps so they work well even if they are a little big. Really love these sandals.

Cute and comfortable! The only thing is that I usually get my daughter a size 8, but had to reorder a size up because an 8 was too small. A 9 was a bit roomy but she will grow into them in no time, just had to adjust the Velcro a little tighter. Love these shoes, easy to take off and on, and super cute!

So ~ this review is specific to the toddler size of the Native sandals. I have a 2.5 yo & these sandals are not designed with long enough Velcro straps to accommodate toddlers. I ordered the size up like suggested and the fit was perfect, but the Velcro straps for toddlers really should reach out further. This was not a problem with any of the other sizes (I got one for a 4, 6 & 8 yo also).

Daughter wore these at Disney World and had no trouble. They are comfortable and cute.

Cute shoes but run a full size smaller than the Jefferson.

These are great summer shoes. My 4yr old can put them on herself, they keep her foot secure and she really likes them. The same size in the classic Native water shoe was too wide for her (her foot would slip out) but these can be adjusted so work well.

Like other natives, size up. They run a little small. Lightweight and super easy clean up. Another awesome pair of natives! My daughter loves them .

I love this sandal for my daughter! It is super easy to get on and off and so light weight that she doesn't drag her feet. They can also be worn in the water which is great for SoCal weather. Love that she can put them on and take them off on her own as well. I haven't had any issues with the velcro at all. I would recommend this style for any boy or girl.

I love these sandals for my daughter. I got her first pair last year and she loved them and was excited to see the new color this season. They're easy to put on, super lightweight, and are her go to sandals.

These are adorable and comfortable, unfortunately we’ve only had them for about a month and my daughter’s toes are already over the front, bummer when kids grow out of things so quickly!!!

Very cute and comfortable - but size 13 was way to big and size 12 a tad too small. Shame they don't have half sizes

Shorter than typical size

These had such a weird fit. I really wanted to love them but just couldn't get a good fit. They run short according to the company, Native customer service recommended we size up so we ordered a c6, she wears a c5 in other natives. They were okay length wise, maybe a tad longer than I would have preferred, but could have worked if the straps were able to tighten down more. The Velcro on these did not seem to stick super well and also were too loose even as tight as they could go. My daughter's tired kept skipping out just playing in the living room. Maybe if your kid has short chunky feet they can work. We tried a size c5 before giving up, the straps fit better but her toes we're hanging off the end a little.

Run small and I agree with other reviews that the Velcro did not allow me to tighten strap as needed.

I bought these for my daughter last summer and they were perfect. I got the cute teal glitter this summer, and had to tighten them so much that the velcro hardly has anything to hold on to, so they either pop off or she takes them off because they bother her. It's like the velcro is in the wrong spot. I really wish I could send them back, but they've already been worn, so I guess I am stuck with them.

Ordered these for my 2 and 5 year old and even following recommendations to size up, they were too small. The girls loved them however so I reordered in bigger sizes and keeping my fingers crossed.

These shoes are adorable. However, after only 2 months of wear, the velcro has given up. They constantly fall off and so we are not able to wear them. Very surprising and disappointing for the price point on these. I was really hoping we had found a new solid sandal for summer!

Bought these for my daughter at the start of the summer and she loved them right away. They were her first choice shoes but unfortunately by later July the velco straps wore out and they keep opening and falling off of her. I am online now picking out another pair of sandals for the rest of the summer. I gave it two stars for overall only because she enjoyed hr short time in them but there definitely need to be improvements made to the velco.

Fit aside (order one size up), the design of the straps is faulty unfortunately. The velcro can suddenly open while your child runs. They did not hold the shoes on our toddler's feet, resulting in a bad scrape and a trip to the nurse. I do not recommend these.
