I bought these for my toddler for two reasons: 1) Velcro straps meant she could fasten them herself and 2) they had adjustable straps (my daughter has narrow feet). I originally ordered them in size 6, but they were too small (toes were over the edge), so I exchanged them for a 7 and they were a little bigger than I hoped but since the width was adjustable we went with 7. Unfortunately, these keep falling off her feet due to the Velcro coming unfastened. I think this is because, out of the 2"-or-so strip of Velcro, in order to adjust the width of the strap to be tight enough on the foot, only about .5" of Velcro ends up fastened. It must just not be enough to hold the shoe together. Pretty disappointed considering the price and that we really like the shoe otherwise. Would not recommend for kids with narrow feet.

The Velcro constantly comes undone! These would be great if not for that. Ok for to and from the beach but don’t seem safe for climbing at all.

Velcro wore off in less than 2 months on my 5 years old's shoes so she can't wear them anymore. My two year old's feet kept sliding forward so she can't wear them. I should have read the reviews! I do not recommend these.

I would totally not recommend these shoes to anyone. I actually notified Native shoes and told customer service of my concerns of these shoes causing injury to a toddler due to the Velcro coming completely apart and causing the shoe to go come off except around the ankle. I saw this occur more than once and will never purchase them again and my granddaughter will not be wearing them.

Same as other reviewers, daughter wore them for a month and now the Velcro comes undone every 20 steps, which has made it extremely difficult to walk on the Las Vegas Strip, stopping every couple seconds. Lol. Stopping at the mall to get a new, different pair of sandals now.

The shoe size was definitely off. My daughter wears a size 8 and her toes were coming out of a size 9 in these.
