I've been looking for a replacement for my slimpack shortie boots and thought these might be a nice option. They are way to ridgid and dressy in the foot. Toe is narrow and heel is tight. I do not have a wide foot I often find most shoes a bit too wide so this sizing is off...as usual for sorel.

I wanted to like these so badly, but between them being just a touch narrow and just a touch short I was unimpressed. I had a pair of sorels that were the BEST snow boots I ever had: the slimpack 1 tall riding boot, but they don't make them anymore and it's been really difficult finding a replacement for them (the rubber finally bit the dust on those).
Ah well. On to the next try.

Compared to other Sorel boots I have this pair was very narrow. I really like the style and I would have returned them for a wide width (even though I don't wear a wide) but that was not an option. Too bad....

Nice looking boot but really small. I'm a 7.5 and sometimes an 8. I ordered these boots in an 8 and they were too tight around the width and upper foot. They were very hard to put on as well.

these are a little snug, but I thought if I broke them in they would be perfect, the reason I ended up returning them is that I couldn't get the fold over to work, it wouldn't relax it was too stiff.

They were too narrow for my feet so I had to return them. As I do with all winter boots I went up half a size, and apart for narrow they were good. I am sensitive to narrow shoes.
The style was great when up, but the furry part was much furrier seeing it real than on the picture, I still liked them.

I had a hard time folding over the cuff and snapping it. too much trouble to put on a pair of boots. I truly need a 1/2 size in Sorel boots but they only come in whole sizes. My regular size, 11, is too small. Otherwise this is a beautiful boot. Had to send them back.

This was a super comfortable shoe but because I have somewhat thick legs, the shape of this boot was not flattering. It made my legs look like tree trunks. The silhouette of the boot was such that it seemed to narrow toward the foot and widen toward the opening. I would recommend this shoe for a person with stick legs - probably would be cute then.

The fit was fine and the arch support was better than any of the other boots I'd tried. They were, however, quite heavy. I wanted boots to slip on and off for dog walking. Having the zipper on the outside looked good but is not practical. A fastener on the inside of your ankle can easily be zipped up and down while standing and balancing on one foot but not easy on the outside of the ankle--and I do yoga!

I felt the boot ran small for an 8.5. I normally wear a size 8 in most shoes but size up to 8.5 for boots because of socks. The 8.5 felt small to me. The material and color seemed just okay for the price of the boot. I had to return.

Once I got these boots on, they fit, but getting them off was even more difficult than on. I was wearing thin socks at the time - not the weight of sock I would have on in the winter. I know that if I could have gotten into the boots with a thicker sock, they would have felt at least a half size too small.
As for the construction and appearance, they seem well made and are very cute boots.

The quality of these boots is amazing! The are the coziest and warmest feeling boots I have ever tried on. I loved the major color, but ultimately, I didn't keep them becuase I expected more style for the price. Even ordering a full size up from what I would usually wear, the shaft is too tight to fold-over as described. The unfolded version is cute, but without the fold over option it wasn't as versatile as I wanted.

For the price these felt cheaply made and were not that comfortable or stylish. They run a little small and narrow so my toes were scrunched. They might fit well on someone with a narrow foot. Overall I was not really impressed with this brand and decided to go with Taos boots.

The faux fur is only on the upper part of the boot, the toe part is lined thinly. I can't imagine them being very warm or waterproof. I received the wrong size boots therefore I have returned them and will not be repurchasing.
