I have had these boots for about four years now and have maybe worn them 80 days in that time frame.
One of the soles is now cracked and the decorative rubber on the back of the heal is falling off. Just as I started to break them in and the tightness of the leather stopped being a problem. I wish I could attach a picture :/

This shoe is great however the color they show on the website is misleading. I bought the brown color (major) and the cloth part of the shoe is much darker then on the website. The whole shoe is basically the same color of brown just with different material. It doesn't look lighter or two-toned like it looks in the picture. This was disappointing.

These are so cute and I'm so bummed that I have to return them. They are true to fit lengthwise but they are incredibly narrow in the width. I have narrow feet and usually struggle with shoes always being to wide so this was a surprise. They are so bad my toes/metatarsals shift and pop when i try to walk(and im in my thinnest socks).
And, of course...6 and 6.5 continues to ALWAYS be out of stock.

I thought that the boots looked cheap and felt stiff. I was disappointed with the overall feel of lower quality, which is not what I expected from Sorel. The sides of each part of the lacing didn't seem to line up and appeared to be canted.

If you have a tall foot Tarsal / Instep / Taller foot these boot are NOT for you. I wanted these soooo bad and tried them on at the store and could not wiggle my foot into them! The side zipper does not go all the way down so it is somewhat like trying to put on a Sperry.

I love these boots and find them great for snow and rain. I would buy again, but they hardly lasted one season. The leather is faded, horribly scratched, stretched out, the heel is torn up and they look awful. I definitely hope for at least two seasons with a pair of sorel boots, but these won't do it.

These boots look great when they first arrive, but they're definitely not as tough or well crafted as some other brands. I bought my pair at the end of September, and I'm already contemplating throwing them away. After a few months of normal use, the heels have mud stains that I've been unable to clean out and the stitching is starting to come lose in some spots. And as I said, this is after normal, walking around city streets use. They're certainly cute, but they're not made for the long haul.

I've worn these out about 5 times now I'm Denver thick ice and snow. The tread is great and it holds up really well in this weather, so I can only assume the same for intense rain! They are fun to dress up with some higher boot socks and tights as well. I love the way they look, and funny enough they seem to really catch the eye of older men and I get a ton of compliments. They are very comfortable to wear walking around the city all day also. I highly recommend!

Ok, so I posted a review yesterday about a defective 9.5 I sent back. I got the new pair of 9.5s just minutes ago and the left shoe does not fit true to size (the defective one did): it’s heel cup is too stiff and rubs & the upper makes tight contact with my big toe - should I have accepted a defect that’ll likely tear out just to have a left shoe that fits? I don’t think so at this price.
I give up! I love my Major Carly’s from 2 years ago but am fed up with whoever Sorel employs to make the left shoe of this new model!!!

Like others have said, this boot is very narrow. I do not have a wide foot per se and I have never ordered wide shoes before. These were incredibly narrow; therefore, very uncomfortable. Which is unfortunate because they are cute. Had to return

This boot is remarkably narrow and stiff! My feet are of normal width and are squished on the sides and ankles, it was really difficult to pull on with everything loosened. This caused actual discomfort and they are unwearable. Unfortunately had to return. They're a gorgeous boot, wish they were comfortable.

I am on two other pairs of sorrels. Knowing they tend to run smaller I sized up half a size. Still couldn’t get my foot in the boot. I love the style of Sorel, But I won’t be buying any more because it’s my third boot I had to return, due to sizing. Sizing is off all around and it’s very disappointing. You have reviews saying they fit true to size reviews saying they’re wide well it all depends on the person foot size so it’s confusing on WHAT size to order. if you have a narrow foot, then sure they may fit you but if I’m sizing up and they’re still too small then the sizing is way off. The only way to really order Sorels and try different styles is to order online, so guess I won’t be ordering anymore.

Stylish boot, size fits as far as length, but they are very tight around the top and sides. I'm really disappointed because I love the look of these and the fact that they're waterproof. They seemed like they'd be a great motorcycle boot.
Since they're leather, I was hoping they would soften up a bit after wearing for awhile, so I wore them around the house for a few days, Sadly, they didn't get more comfortable and just gave me sores on the top and sides of my feet.

First pair, I ordered in a size 7, after measuring my foot exactly according to their size chart. Showed up way too big, like my foot was falling out of them when I took a step. Weird that their size chart was incorrect but ok try again, right? Send them back and order a new pair in a 6.5. Showed up and they fit great but they are in horrendous condition. There are water-like stains, 10-15 scratches in total between the two boots, one boot has a massive scuff on the top of it, and one boot has stitching that is hanging loose and frayed and all out of shape (like the machine messed up while sewing it and got tangled and just tore the thread off instead of finishing the seam).
