These are very stylish boots, and versatile as well - they go with so many outfits. My shoe size is 9.5 but I usually go up half a size in boots: I am glad I did not. They were true to size with a moderately thick wool sock right out of the box. After a couple of wears, they stretched out a little bit, and now I feel like I need to tighten the shoe laces to prevent the foot from slipping around a little bit inside the boot. The leather is good quality, so I hope they last a long time. One concern is one of the zippers - it gets stuck periodically, so if that breaks it will shorten the useful life of these boots. But overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase.

I am usually an 9 1/2 or 10 in footwear and my foot is narrow. I tried the size 10 in these first but they slopped on my heel quite badly. I went down to the 9 1/2 but they too slopped on my heel. I had them tightened so much that I couldn't get my foot out when I unzipped them so I think a 9 might be perfect for me. But sadly, the size 9 are out of stock in the color I want. They felt comfortable to me width-wise so I would say they run narrower than some boots. Typically a medium width is too wide for me but these were great. And I love the style. So I am watching for my size so I can try them again. Would definitely recommend them if you can find the size that works for you.

Love the look of these boots and they fit true to size. 4 stars only because I feel they could have a little more arch support. But overall very happy with these boots!

I LOVED the style, but they were too narrow and uncomfortable on my 10.5 wide-ish feet. I have quite a few pairs of Sorel that I love and I was so disappointed. They are also browner than camel-colored in person.

I wanted to love these because they’re really great looking boots. I ordered a half size bigger at the advice of a friend. They completely swallowed my foot. So I exchanged them for my true size. The fit was much better but they were so narrow my foot started going numb/tingled. I don’t have particularly wide feet. I’ve never had to buy a wide width in any other shoe. I had to return them unfortunately. They’re really well made, for what it’s worth. Also, don’t buy these if you’re looking for warmth. Great leather but zero lining. Wouldn’t be a good pair for Colorado winters.

These are very cute and I am a Sorel Fan. I really wanted to love these, but they were just too narrow and one foot was especially uncomfortable. I tried wearing them around the house, hoping they would give a bit. I wanted these for daily walking and unfortunately have to return them. They are attractive with a nice slim profile. If you have narrow feet they will likely be a much better fit for you.

I love the look of these shoes. However they did take some time to break in - two or three long wears because they start off stiff. They did poke my heels the first two times but after that they are great! I saw some other reviews that said they got scratched up quickly after wearing them but I think this is what the material is made to do and soften up.

To look at, the boot is so cute! But the fit leaves something to be desired. Keep in mind I have planters fasciitis. When I first put them on, they just felt stiff. they seem to be narrower in the toe bed than other Sorel's. I couldn't insert my orthotics and am returning. I also purchased Rockport Cobb Hill Bethany boots, they were perfect and bonus, cheaper!

I have this same boot in black and it fits amazing! I have a very narrow foot and ankle and the black fits like a glove. I tried the Emelie in Major and the ankle area is super wide. I love this boot so much I’m gonna order a different pair of Majors and hope the ankle area fits better. Sending back this pair. I love you Zappos!

Wanted to like these more than I did. They were a little too roomy around the ankles (and I have wide feet!), so it felt like there was not a ton of support. Even though they have a fun, rugged, combat look, they didn't necessarily feel like they would do well in intense hiking or physical labor conditions. I opted for Timberland Jaynes, which were a bit stiffer and plainer, but felt like they could handle more and work for more occasions ( because I got the black.) if I had infinite money, I would have kept these because they were a great look and decently comfortable, but ultimately they just didn't tick enough boxes for me. I ordered half a size up and that worked well.

I had been drooling over these boots for awhile. I am a huge fan of Sorel and have 2 other styles of boots. I wanted something comfortable and supportive for an upcoming trip to Europe. They foot well and the bed is very comfortable. They feel narrow through the arch, but not uncomfortably so. I hopeful that part will stretch a bit as I work to break them in over the next few weeks. Overall. I’m totally happy with my purchase!

Do not order if you have wide feet. My feet are not really wide but have a little width. The shoes squeeze my feet just slightly. Not to the point where it hurts. Hoping they stretch with wear. But I love the looks of these boots! They are warmer than you would think. The description says something like not for warmth but these do good for cold weather.

I gave these 4 stars instead of 5 because they are SO hard to put on! Once they’re on they are comfortable like all other Sorel boots, but even with them unzipped and laces open it’s a struggle. I’m hoping that will get better after some breaking in. I got a 7.5 and wear them with somewhat thick socks. These would probably feel too narrow for people with wider feet.

Runs a half size larger. Purchased the 7 and exchanging for a 6 1/2. My foot was slipping out while walking. Hoping the half size smaller will fix that.

I ordered a size 10 which was a bit too small. Had to go up to a size 10.5 which fit much better. No arch support so I inserted my own orthotics which worked out well. The functioning laces and zipper are a plus to get a good fit. The shoes are very stiff at first and take some breaking in but they a very good looking and functional since they are waterproof.

I am a true size 8.5 so that's what I ordered. The left boot fit me perfectly but the right felt too small. I don't normally have this problem. When I put the right boot on my toe was hitting the end but, oddly, when I walked my heal was badly slipping up. I did not want to go a half a size up because I figured the heal slip would only get much worse. Other than that, the boots felt really comfortable and were of great quality but they just did not fit me properly so they have to go back.
