I love these boots, so so so much, but unfortunately, they won't zip over my thick ankles, even with thin (or no) socks. I am super-sad to have to send them back because they are perfect in every way otherwise. (Also, I tested walking on my linoleum kitchen floor after reading the review where the person indicated they were sliding in these on tile etc., and I just don't see how. They're very rubbery and grippy from my experience. Maybe they changed the sole between when that person ordered and now?)

I had to exchange for another half size up so I could get my foot in. Love the boot, great soles for traction and très stylish. ?

On me, the fit of this particular boot wasn’t great. I went up half a size, as suggested by others, and that seemed about right. However, they were loose in the heel and tight on my bunion. Cute, with a low heel you could dress up or down and a nice sole for places like Minnesota where we actually have snow and ice. Sadly, I’ll be returning them because of the way they fit (or didn’t fit) my foot.

A very attractive bootie. I wear a 9m, however ordered a 9.5m based on other reviews. I think a 9 would have been a little too short, but the 9.5 while giving me enough length was too loose around the rest of my foot. I selected the "Buffalo" color. Reminded me of a broken in pair of cowboy boots. Good looking. I did return because of the size problem.

Very comfortable right out of the box. The like the heel height, not too high. Warm but not overly warm. And I love that they are waterproof. Top opening could be just a little wider to fit better around my skinny jeans. Overall very happy and contemplating purchasing a different color.

I normally wear an 8-8.5 and found the 8.5 to just fit. Not too tight but not loose and I think they would fit better with time but if you want to wear thick socks order up. This boot seems very durable and the sole provides a lot of traction. The upper is stiff but feminine and the shoe looks cute on. Didn’t quite hit the mark for me so I ended up returning.

Love these!!! Was looking for a good black boot for Winter. Have worn them almost everyday since I got them!!

the "major/black" color is definitely a muted brown with a greenish hue. I like the color. The boot while not roomy, didn't make me want to change from my regular size (I have other Sorels and they're all 7 for me).

I am usually a size 8 or 7.5, but based on reviews I sized up to 8.5. They are a little roomy but with thick socks they fit perfectly. I also have wide toes that are all the same length, so the toe of the shoe would be too narrow if I sized down. They are pretty narrow in general, but feel like they will stretch out a bit. They are very comfortable to walk around in all day and they're very grippy, so I think they will do well in snow and ice. The opening is wide and I would imagine it would rub on the back of your leg without taller socks, but I plan on wearing tall wool socks with these. The brown color is very red, which is nice because it doesn't clash with black or other browns.

I read reviews and ordered a 1/2 size larger but I didn't feel like it was needed, maybe with thick socks it would be helpful. Overall these boots are comfortable and stylish! I chose these over the Lola Chelsea because they were a better fit.

These boots were a little difficult to get on at first, but after the first time, they were fine. I would say they run slightly small, about half a size. Size 7.5 in boots is usually roomy for me, but these fit like a 7 might.

I first ordered these in a 9.5 and they were a little too tight in the toes. Anything thicker than a thin sock would have been uncomfortable. So I returned them for a 10. These fit good, though I've only worn them once. They felt a little loose in the heal, but I think with a little thicker sock, they will fit great. They're really cute with leggings or skinny jeans. The heal is nice because it's there, but not like you're walking on the balls of your feet all day in actual heals. The 'Major' color is a brownish/gray, but I'd call them gray. They are very neutral. Love them so far, and I plan to get a lot of wear out of them in the winter months.

these boots are exactly the look i wanted...color is great, style is great, fit is not great. should have read other reviews that stated they fit narrow. i would be able to wear these if they had a rounded toe like the joan of arc but with the lower more comfortable and practical heel. bummer.

Super cute boots but the heel cup was a bit stiff. So at my size it would likely give me compression blisters but at a 1/2 size larger would likely give me friction sores when walking. Bummer but had to send back. Will choose another Sorel.

I love these boots. They fit great and are comfortable. I normally wear a narrow and these medium width boots fit well so I'd say they run narrow. I have last years version and they have held up very well through rain and snow. I am returning only because I'm not in love with the color. They are too "red" for my taste. LOVE THESE BOOTS.
