Loved the big lugg sole and the narrow ankle, but these boots are way to small! I ordered half a size up but they're still are too tight for my wide toes. They're going back.

I'm returning these, sadly. I prefer waterproof leather boots, and would have loved to have kept these. The boot is attractive, the sole is fantasti - thick, really non-skid, and the support is very good. The problem is that the shaft height is too high, and cuts into my calf, and it rubs and hurts. The shaft/ankle part of the boot would need to be easily 2" shorter in order for me to be able to wear these. These might work for someone who has a longer leg. I own a pair of waterproof leather Bogs lace up ankle boots and those fit perfectly in the ankle area. But this pair of SOREL's will have to go back, I'm afraid.

To snug hard to get on

Cute boot but runs very small, I have other Sorels and ordered my normal size but the toe box was so tight I could not wear these. Can't judge comfort as I could not walk in them. But rest of the shoe felt right so I will try another boot.

Was looking for a sleek, waterproof ankle boot. Alas, it didn't work for me--it was just too narrow for my high-arch feet with major bunions, despite ordering a half size up. Also, there was too much room at the ankle, which meant the boot shaft tapered in toward the top and gave me a little calf "muffin top"...Not flattering. I got the black, and the soft pebbled leather is gorgeous. The soles seemed grippy and looked edgy, not clunky. Arch support was ok. Seems best for someone with medium or narrow width feet and slimmer calves.

Overall this is a nice well made shoe. The first thing I noticed, right out of the box, was how narrow the boot was, particularly the toe. Upon trying on, I noticed the leather was very soft and supple...a little too supple. Lastly, I have a regular width foot. The toe box was very snug, but not uncomfortable. The heal was loose and the leather was baggie around the ankle. Will be returning as I was looking for something a little more substantial in a casual wear boot.

I loved these boots in a size 10, although a little wide. The unfortunate thing is the patent leather started to degrade on the left shoe at the base of the big toe and peeled off. I had to send them back and ordered the plain black leather as a replacement. I am a size 9.5-10 the length of the 10 is right but the overall boot is a bit wide. I have used inserts to fill the space.

The shoe did not fit as closely as I expected. It was too big around the ankle and the shaft. The lace Phoenix fit better here. The shoe was incredibly comfortable but did not provide the more tailored fit I wanted to wear with long skirts and tights.

I have ordered several pairs of Sorel boots in 9, my regular size, and these are the only ones that are too narrow. My foot is a little bit wide in the front, but not in the heel. Have to return. Also, they curve up and around my heel and it seemed as though that would hurt after a little while. I have plantar fascitis.

I ordered this and the lace up, thinking this would be more versatile, but I Prefer the lace up because of the transition from footbed to shaft. It's closer to the foot on the lace up. The shaft on this is also shorter. The boot is comfortable, but seemed to be half-size short.

I liked the style, it runs small, I tried the next half size up and it fit except the toe box was too narrow...too bad as I liked the boot.

AT LEAST a size small. I couldn't even get my foot in it. I am an 8 and in this boot I would need at least a 9, maybe larger. I sent them back and didn't reorder. Nice looking boots though and nice quality.

I ordered these in grey, thinking they looked like a warm taupe-grey online, but they were in reality a cooler blue-grey. At first I didn't even think they were the right boots. Had to look back at my order to be sure. More importantly, I found these massively uncomfortable. The ankle had a hard spot that rubbed immediately. Returned.

Good looking boot, but too squishy in the toe (toe box too flat) and not enough arch support for me.

I was disappointed with these boots and had been hopeful since i was looking for a comfortable waterproof boot for a trip that would be in the winter with alot of walking. Not comfortable and sizing was off.

I can't say I really loved these in person. Looked sort of cheap. I wear an 8.5 in regular shoes so normally order boots in a 9 to allow room for different socks. In these, my toes were hitting the front and my heel was slipping in the back and the toe box was too narrow. Sending back.

Love the look and style: zip, low chunky heel, simple, stylish. Exactly what I have been searching for. BUT they are SO UNCOMFORTABLE in every way: hard sole, pinch, slip, rub. I tried different sizes. I don't want to take the time and blisters to see if I can break them in. Sad to return them - not going to work out.

LOVE the look of these boots - however they are uncompfortable - tried several sizes none of them worked. They rub in the wrong places.

We've had a very wet winter in California so I purchased these boots to replace my old Fluevogs when the heel broke. I am so disappointed in these boots! Even though they appear as if they would be great in foul weather, they are the most slippery pair of shoes I own. I have nearly fallen several times. Mostly on regular tile floors. Today, I slipped on the PAVEMENT. I'll be buying another pair of Fluevogs right after this review. I've worn them a few times and wish I could send them back. Be warned.
