I really wanted to love these, got them in patent leather and was hoping they'd have a kicky, Twiggy 60's vibe to them, but instead they kind of came off more as galoshes. :-( Also wasn't a fan of how big the zipper pull was, it flopped around too much while i was walking.

These are interesting boots -- nice leather, but with a rugged sole. The leather would, I'm sure, be very comfortable. Unfortunately they are a strange height and rubbed my calves in an odd place. They too tall to be standard short boots, but too short to be tall boots. I needed waterproof boots with good traction and order both these and Merrell's Chateau boots to try. I ended up keeping the Merrell boots which aren't as nice looking but hit at a better height around my ankle.

Some of the very few stylish boots that have cushion and decent tread. Seriously why do they make boots with a flat sole without any traction? Boots for CA or places where there is no snow and ice? Although my foot is on the wide side, these fit comfortably.

I wanted so much for this boot to fit right. I find sorrel boots to run half to full size larger. I don’t know how anyone has said you need to order up a size. Foot bed super comfortable. Leather very soft but breaking funny on my ankle. I ordered a smaller size and will see how that does.

For me, I'm in between a size 6 1/2 and 7 in Sorels so fit is not perfect. Shoe is comfortable except for heel, which seems wide and slips, even with extra thick socks, but keeping b/c these are most comfortable all-weather booties that look good enough to wear to office-setting work that its own strict interpretation of business-casual dress code;-)

I really wanted to keep these boots. They are so cute and the leather is top quality. I was looking for a stylish boot that I could wear in the rain and snow. These totally fit the bill. Unfortunately, these were just a bit too narrow and since I have a bunion on one foot I knew they were not going to work. So sad.

I had to return these boots even after trying more than one side. They were stiff around the ankle and that made them uncomfortable. I like that they were waterproof and the style is ok. The soles look very good for snow--deep grooves. Because of that they are not as dressy but I still think they are a good blend of functional and nice looking. Just didn't work for me.

These are pretty good for a true waterproof bootie. They are very shiny and the sole/heel is a clunkier style--but good for snow and rain because of the grip. They definitely run small. I wear a 9 ½ and now trying to decided if I need to exchange for a 10 or 10 1/2

Great looking waterproof boot but...the design relating to the heel, inside shoe, did not work for my feet. The inside heel protruded out a bit, resulting in inside heel of boot rubbing against my heel. Typically wear a 7.5. I ordered both 7.5 & 8.0. 7.5 would have been perfect if not for heel issue.

Size up with this boot (half size)! This boot probably won't work for you if you dont have (M) width feet. Too narrow, and when you size up your foot will slosh around. Too wide, the same problem (sizing up to accommodate for the added width will mean you may have to go up a full size). I typically wear at 7.5--and I bought both 7.5 and an 8. The 8 feels right. It feels most comfortable with thin socks. I tried it on with thicker (smart wool) socks because I plan to wear these in sloshy/wet winter weather, and its tolerable/moderately comfortable at a half-size larger--so I feel this is the happy medium. I am wearing them around the house now, but I expect the toe box will stretch out a bit more with wear. One of the biggest positives for this show is how soft/bendable it is. Though it comes a bit higher on the calf, I could bike easily around town in this shoe, walk quickly, etc. I'm looking forward to wearing it with skirts and still looking smart/tough with the lug/track sole.

I want to love these boots and I do..they are comfortable , true to size and good arch support...that being said ... the circumference around the top of the boot is too small!! Every time I take a step.. I feel it! Drives me nuts.. I tried opening the zipper but that's not good ...so back they go. I've normal size ankles or lower calfs..whatever they are called..lol.. Great looking though..disappointed.

I love the style of this boot, it has a mod 60's vibe. The leather is soft and feels like a nice quality. I also LOVE that they are waterproof, though I have yet to try that it. I wear a size 8, got these in an 8 and they fit perfect. The boots fit my narrow feet and skinny ankles pretty well, so someone with wide feet might not like these so much. Only issue is they are definitely NOT slip resistant. With these being advertised as a good boot to wear in the rain, I'm a little nervous.

I ordered up a half size based on other reviews. These boots were tight in the toe area and a bit loose in the heal. I do have a bunion so that is an issue, but my big toe was going numb after just a few minutes so it’s more than that. Sizing up another size won’t work because the heal would be even looser. All of that being said, these boots are really nice and if you get the right fit you will probably find them very comfortable. They are stylish and I love the lug sole. I am sad to have to send them back. Rats!

I like the boot but they feel small. I'm ordering a half size larger.

Based on reviews, I ordered a half size up from my usual size, but those were too big. I'd say these run very slightly on the narrow side (especially compared to my other Sorels) so if you don't have wide feet, I'd stick with your regular size. Trying to decide whether to order a half size down and try again. I feel like the shaft height of these is a bit awkwardly high.

Super cute boot, just too narrow for me. I'm a true size 10 and ordered a 10 and length was just right. Ordered the black and very good quality leather.

I loved the soles of these boots. However, they were stiff and uncomfortable around the ankle. They were not tight, but the stiffness of the leather caused the boot to buckle when walking, in an unattractive way. I generally like Sorel boots but these were not for me.

This boot is kinda cute and the tread seems awesome! I am an 8 in every shoe that's ever been comfortable and this 8 was tight on my foot. The heel is very round and dug into my ankle at the top of the heel cup. It was better but still noticeable when I tried them with just tights instead of thin but warm socks. The insole was pretty much flat. A larger size might have given me room to put my own insert in, but might have also been too long. I don't have any shoes that are specifically for wide feet, these were just a little more narrow than I'm used to. They looked cute with tights or leggings but weird with pants. In the end, not particularly fashionable or comfortable for me and I decided to return.

I liked the look of these on the computer. They are actually comfortable, but I returned them. The reason is they have a cheap appearance like many shoes made in China. Buy cheap and get cheap, sad as I always thought of Sorel as a quality company.

I loved the look of these boots and needed a dressy waterproof boot so I was very hopeful when I saw them. Unfortunately for me, I could barely get my foot in the boot. I do have high arches so I wasn't surprised. Once my foot was in I could tell the width was too narrow for me. I can tell the insole is cushy and will more than likely be comfortable but I'll have to consider trying a half or even full size larger. For now though, they're going back and I'll stick with my Keens which feel great even though they're not as dressy as these boots.

I love the style and the quality of leather but unfortunately they're too small. I ordered a 9 1/2 which is my usual size but need them in a 10 so they're being returned. If you're considering the bigger size, that's what I'd recommend!

the right length in my usual size but just too wide, a bit floppy—I keep trying Sorels but I always have this problem with them. My foot is normal width, maybe a little on the narrow side. The ankle is quite wide too so looks like more utility all-weather boot than stylish.
