I rarely write reviews. I've had my eyes on these for a while. I really wanted to buy them but I never wear heels due to joint issues. But I was so drawn to them that even though I've bought 5 other pair of Sorels in one year, I bought these too. As other reviewers said, they don't feel like heels. They feel stable and well-cushioned as far as shock absorbtion goes. I do feel some pain in my joints from wearing a heel for hours but I have severe arthritis. With that said, these boots are so chic - they make me so happy. These are the kind of shoes that give you that extra bit of swagger in your step. They are feel-good boots. If you're on the fence like I was because of the heel height, just buy them. Now I'm trying to talk myself out of buying the other color. And by the way, the gray boots are gray. I've seen reviews either on this site or other sites saying the boots appeared to be olive green when they received them and some boots look more two-toned than others. Not the case for the boots I received.

I just got these about one hour ago and am in love with them. I wear an 8.5 but chose to get a 9 and they fit very well. I can't wear thick socks with them but I don't think these are really supposed to be worn with socks? Anyway, I love that they're extremely functional yet look fabulous. They're very slimming as well when paired with leggings. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a cute pair of boots to replace my flat UGGS. I love Uggs but wanted something warm and cute to wear with longer pants. This was a perfect answer. Tempted to but in other colors. I bought in a 9 and usually wear 8.5. I just tightened the laces and was find with the toe room.

So comfortable! And warm! Wore them around NYC for a day and they were perfect and SO CUTE. I have them in black as well! Will be purchasing more sorels ASAP.

This shoe works wonderfully in the office and in deep snow. I work in real estate and have to look professional as well as be able to maneuver winter weather. I bought two colors!

I got these for my wife and she absolutely loves them! They are super functional and the compliments are plentiful everywhere we go. She says her feet are in heaven when she has them on.

This is the first of many pair that I will be purchasing. This brand and style is one that can be dressed up or down. The waterproof aspect is flawless and I have receive numerous of compliments about these stylish beauties.

I think I need to order the other Joan without the fur just to change things up!

I have been wearing these boots nearly every day. They are so comfortable and really unique! I get compliments on them every time I wear them. The heel is so cool and stylish! I actually bought the taller ones, too (with the laces). You will not regret buying these boots!!!! I love them :)

I love these boots in Camel so much, that I'm purchasing them in the Quarry color now before they no longer have my size. I have had that happen to me with other boots so I'm not taking the risk now! They feel amazing on my feet, super comfortable, and look so stylish. I've not even gotten to wear them as much as I'd like yet, as I've only had them a few days now, but I've already received more compliments than I expected! They're gorgeous and so well-made! They're worth every penny!

This is truly a wonderfully warm comfortable boot for all day wear. True to size. I wear 7.5 in these rounded toe Sorel. The pointed toe Sorel boots, I wear an 8. Excellent quality. I have many, many Sorel boots. I am a forever customer.
