I really like the shoe. Was more cushioned than I had thought it would be. However, very narrow and tight. I will be returning for a size up.

This is a narrow shoe, but that was the main reason I purchased it - I have narrow feet and I'm consistently a size 10.5 narrow in most brands. I heeded advice of other reviews claiming these ran small, and I purchased a size 11. My toes were crammed against the front of the shoe! These run at least a FULL size too small. The only other shoes I've ever had to go up to size 11.5 were Nike's, which are notoriously small. Very disappointing. My other Hokas (W Challenger ATR 4) are a 10.5, and a bit wide for my foot. Width discrepancies, I understand, but why is there such a huge difference in the length? It also felt like the heel-to-toe drop in these was a bit extreme (from what I could tell in the 20 seconds I was wearing them)... It's too bad, because 1) These don't come in 11.5; and 2) The width was perfect for a narrow foot. Frustrating.

I wore the hiking boot on two different hikes and got a blister on the side of my heel. When I researched the product and read that I would have 30 days to try it out and I wasn't happy, I could return for a full refund or exchange. Once I received the product, the return details state it had to be in new condition

I love Hoka but don't know about this shoe. I have to order bc we live in a rural area. I thought they would stretch a bit but so far no go. Other than being pretty tight in the toe area they r very comfortable. I would rec sizing up

Tested these trail runners for a couple weeks putting many miles on them, I just could not make my feet comfortable in them.

I wish these shoes would have fit me properly. The narrow toe box I was concerned about, as my natural foot curve placed my big toe close to the end; It's kinda hard to describe, but a larger size would have been too big. I loved: the cushioning, waterproof, mid-height (should keep out dirt, debris, limestone grit from sloppy trails)I even loved the color! BUT I tried them on two runs, even changed type of socks, changed lacing, used "run glide" on my foot, however, these created a weird "hot spot" under the ball of my right foot, and the shoe was so distracting and uncomfortable I seriously considered walking after 2 miles into a 4 mile run. So disappointed. I have been wearing nothing but HOKA One One to run both trails and hard surfaces for the last 6 years. I see nothing to replace these either. Nearly all my other HOKAs were great

I'm kind of unusual because I have a completely fused big toe, which means my feet don't have any flexibility or "give" in that area. For me, these felt great when I first put them on but I have very painful pressure points over the fused metatarsal after wearing them for several hours. These aren't good shoes for people who need more width in the toe box.

I found these to be very uncomfortable. I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and the Hoka Challenger 3's are amazing. But since they are extremely hard to find I decided to try another style of the Hoka. They just felt like there was no support and the insoles pushed my foot off to the side. I did try wearing them around the house but they did not get better.

This was my 3rd Hoka Trail Running Shoe. I tried the Hoka Speedgoat 4 Women's WP (regular running shoe) at Tradehome to ensure the fit, but they didn't have it in a mid boot. So I decided to order it directly from Hoka. I ordered a 1/2 size bigger, upon suggestion of Tradehome, and other reviewers on this site. However, when I tried the shoe on, the front part of the shoe was way too wide, making the shoe act like a clown's shoe, and causing a very uneven gait. The rest of the boot -- arch to my heel fit okay. I have owned 2 Tor Tech Mid WP boots just prior to this. The Tor Tech fit like a slipper that fit my foot like a glove, and had the benefit of being a very sturdy trail running shoe with good support. So, I expected the same type of fit in this Speedgoat Mid boot. This weird Speedgoat fit was also odd, because 99% of the time, my shoe size is a very accurate fit.. With the front of the Speedgoat being so wide, and loose, even aside from the uneven gait, the extra room causes the front of the shoe to shift, I did notice that Hoka's description of the Speedgoat Mid shoe didn't include "4" in the name. So, I don't know if this shoe is from a prior model. For me, it clearly didn't fit the front of my foot like the Speedgoat 4 running shoe. In any event, I am returning this shoe. I also had quality problems with my 2nd Tor Tech Mid boot about 3 months into the purchase. So, I am very disappointed, as I really loved my first Tor Tech Mid WP boot.

I bought these because they were more narrow than most shoes. I have a narrow foot. The width was perfect for me, but the size was obviously from Munchkin Land. I'm normally a 10.5 narrow (skis, I know...) but I would need a 12 in these for them to fit me, and they do not make them in that size.

I bought these for work. 12hr rotating shift in wet environment and put on miles every shift. I need WP shoes with good support that are breathable.
