The shoes were too narrow for my foot. I returned them for a refund since a wider shoe was not available at the time. That said, the refund was issued right away. I would buy from Hoka again if the opportunity comes along.

Nice shoe. A little narrow until stretched out. Very comfortable and light under foot.

Everything was good but the color. The photo on your web page and what was delivered was a little different so I sent them back, every thing else was good and yes I am still looking for another pair

I wanted something that I could wear to social events that was leather and comfortable. The one critique is that the leather is covered with indentations, I suppose for style. I find that this attempt at ornamentation is too busy for my taste but not a deal killer. My first set of Bondi shoes was a plain black leather which I prefer.

Great shoe so far. Just note that the grey is a lot lighter in color in person. The pictures aren't that accurate color wise. Still looks good though :)

these look sharp and feel good.. i have super wide feet so i was hoping these would also be wide set

This shoe being leather works well with a business casual environment.shoe is designed for support and stability but needs a break in period but stiff out of the box

Haven't worn these as much as I thought I would due to working from home. So I wear my Arahi 3 a lot more. When I wore the Gaviotas they were very comfortable although my color blindness led me to believe they would be more black than brown. I hope I will get to wear them again in the near future.

For a size D foot width, the standard size hurts little toes and rubs at the base of big toes. Since I don't wear a Double EE, I thought the standard width would work. But it really doesn't. My foot doctor will now have to stretch the leather at the outer toes and at the base of the big toes, to alleviate the rubbing. I wish there were a better way to equate width size online. Right now, it's a choice of standard or Double EE.

Thought the leather would be a little dressier for casual wear. First time I wore them, walked about a mile to the movies and they cut into my toes. After some break-in they've become more comfortable like my other Hokas.

I give them 4 stars because the leather style is a little tighter than the same style in non-leather. They have very good support! Will buy again.

While I wear the shoes they feel good no pain like others do but when I take them off I feel pain in certain areas of my foot. I wore the other brand and I would feel that pain I feel with the Hoka.

Extremely comfortable but wanted black not brown thought I was getting a black as you listed as demitasse/ black.

I returned the Hoka Gavoita brown leather shoe didn't like the style and fix , but I have purchase Hoka's in the past and really enjoy there comfort and support

I had tried on another model in the same size with my orthotics and the fit great. This model has a smaller area if you have a higher arch plus wear an orthotic.

Size. Too tight.

I like them but I don't live them. My feet hurt a little in the middle of the day.

It's a harder bottom and the shoe itself is stiffer and wears more like a dress shoe

Good looking shoe. Offers good stability. Very different from previous shoes. Had to purchase $50 inserts to relieve back pain. Would recommend with reservations.

The original versions of many styles of Hoka shoes that came in wides and extra wides were much better. Over time, especially through the arch area, Hoka's shoes have become more and more narrow. Many of us choose wides because of flat feet and the wider versions are simply way more comfortable. I still recommend Hoka shoes but they need to bring back the width of older models in wide versions.

I was going to use these shoes for casual wear. Very nice looking shoe but the leather upper was too stiff and hurt the top of my left foot. Additionally I wasn't thrilled with the color. In the pictures they appeared taupe but I would describe the actual color as gray. I sent them back but I'll keep looking!

This is the latest of many Hoka shoes purchased (I have probably purchased about 20 pairs for my wife and myself). My only complaint is fewer and fewer options in extra wides. Also, both wides and extra wides keep getting narrower and narrower. I would recommend every pair of Hokas that we purchased but only if you don't need wides.

I bought the leather Event's a few years ago but these aren't as soft on the feet. I have been buying Hoka's for their cushion and these don't match up to the Event's
