So used to Teva Sandals & Merrell Barefoots but pulled a muscle and need these super stable shoes

These fit about the same as the other 2 styles on Hoka shoes that I have. Hoka is to be commended on the return policy, as well. The first pair of the Gaviota I ordered were the same size as my other 2 pairs. The left shoe fit perfect, but the right shoe was real tight across the top, so I returned the 1st pair. The 2nd pair fit perfect, so the 1st pair was kind of a fluke, as I figured. Great shoes and great service from Hoka.

I wear them to work because I am dealing with plantar fasciitis and I hope the cushioning will give me some relief !

I was a Bondi LTR person until I bought my pair of Gaviota's. A Hoka One One rep lives in my delivery area and saw me in my Bondi's. After a conversation with him he told me I should try the Gaviota's. I am in and out of my truck 200 times a day with some questionable road and sidewalk issues to deal with. The Gaviota's are comfortable with great ankle support. I will soon have 5 pairs for daily rotation. I have received numerous compliments from other drivers in my building, and customers on my route.Thank you Hoka for this wonderful shoe.

I have severe osteoarthritis in my foot joints which caused the left foot to pronate radically. I now wear ridgid braces on both feet and I needed to go up in size from my normal 12 EE to 14 EE (wides), and with the most cushy soles but with stability. I tried the Speedgoat 2, and loved the open sole design, but Hoka does not make it in a wide (boooo)...so I switched to this model, and in leather for the looks and durability. I just wish they came with the Speedgoat 2 sole design (yeeees), because the Gaviota soles pick up and hold debris that tracks all over (boooo).

Needed a causal/dress looking type shoe. This nails it.

I just wore them for six straight, never taking them off, and they were comfortable and stable every minute of every day.

I destroyed the cartilage in my right knee by falling in a mountain race after 40 years of running. I wear the Bondi leather which is super soft for walking but felt I needed more support for my current sport which is competitive dog agility which requires short sprints either on grass or soft dirt inside a barn. The Gaviota leather gives super support and the leather adds extra warm which I need due to the chilly temperatures we often have when competing. The 10 1/2 wide fits perfectly. It's also looks good enough to wear to my office. My new favorite shoe...

Have had several pairs of your sneakers and just love them. The shoes had to get a half size bigger and still a little tight across the top. I still wear them with hopes of them breakers in to a better feel

This is my third pair. Great shoes.

I use these shoes for casual to dressy, and they accomplish this. I need the support of a walking shoe and being somewhat dressed up at the same t.

My only criticism of the shoe is that it is not as well heel cushioned as the Bondi 7.

Put better arch support innersoles in your shoes
