First let me say that I don't run unless a bear is chasing me! I just need less PAIN. I ordered this shoe and received it very promptly. When I ordered the only one they had in my size was the black so I bought it. Right up front I have to say that in black it does look like a Herman Munster shoe or a stacked correction shoe. Probably any other color would look better so I am not sure whether I will keep or return for a different color but I do want the actual shoe. My feet are a nightmare and you wouldn't know this as an innocent bystander. One foot is shorter with a higher arch and instep and a C width. The other foot is a little longer with a lower arch and a D-E width (mainly in the forefoot). I have Plantar fasciitis - a heel spur and this year I was lucky enough to develop a bunion. My toes tilt slightly up which means I have to have a deeper toe box too! These shoes seem like they may help me work around a lot of those problems. The Bondi 6 does run wider in the forefoot and this works with my width problem, the material has a decent amount of give and this helps with my tilt up toes. The feel when you stand in them is very cushioned without feeling like you are walking on the bed. Around the arch they are still snug and secure feeling even with the wider forefoot. Sometimes with other sneakers I have a problem because they hit my ankle bones but these shoes are cut reasonably low under the ankle and not to high in the back of the foot. They also don't go very high on the back of the foot. I wore them around the house for a few minutes and I could tell they don't have very much arch support at least not enough for me and my PF. I added my 3/4 power steps and they felt even better. I will be keeping shoe and if they still feel as good after a couple weeks I will splurge and get a second pair because all shoe manufacturers tend to discontinue every shoe that works for me. Hope this helps others who suffer from some of my foot woes.

A bit geriatric looking but who cares when they are so cushy! I have plantar fasciitis and heel pain, and these are like walking on clouds. They do cause me to overpronate just a bit since they are a neutral shoe. The Gaviota gives me more stability, but I love the Bondi 6 for super cushioning on hard surfaces. I ordered a wide and the width is great. Lots of room in the toebox.

My main reason for choosing this shoe was because I wanted a very squishy, bouncy shoe. It definitely is that. I wear wide shoes. I was so disappointed when I wore these shoes regarding the width. They have excellent width and fit perfect in the toe box but get very narrow in the arch. This created a problem with the sole of the shoe poking up in the arch of my foot which caused pain in my arch. It was hard for me to believe that there was as much width and room in the toe box but was very narrow in the center of the shoe. I thought I had found my perfect shoe but that was a huge problem for me because I am on my feet all day. The more I walked the more my foot bulged over the arch of the shoe which didn't make sense to me. If your foot is wide it's not going to be skinny in the middle. Disappointed.

These are NOT a neutral shoe. I’m a true supinator and these have quite a bit of stability control along the inside edge. It’s obvious when viewing them from the back, there’s a cleft and the sole is thicker along that edge. My husband immediately spotted how much these rolled my feet outwards when I first put them on and walked across the carpet. It’s so disappointing because they’re super comfortable!

Warning !! Do NOT buy these shoes! At first I loved these shoes. It felt like I was walking on a cloud. I bought them for running (~6 miles four days a week), since I had previously had very mild plantar fasciitis and read amazing reviews about how these shoes help those with plantar fasciitis. First off, my arches hurt after 4 miles because there is hardly any arch support (I have pretty high arches). Then as I continued to wear the shoes for running, my plantar fasciitis came back again, this time it was horrible! I went to physical therapy for about one to two months and finally my therapist suggested maybe it was the shoes, since the heel is so cushioned and large that when your foot lands it doesn’t land in a proper orientation since it can’t even feel the ground. So I decided to switch back to my old running shoes, Salomon trail running shoes, and literally within a week my plantar fasciitis was 95% better. Additionally my father wore the same style of hoke one one shoes on a vacation that involved quite a bit of walking. He wound up with a horrible knee problem and is still recovering months later! Bottom line, don’t buy these shoes! They may feel great initially but they are terrible for your feet in the long run.

I am very impressed with these shoes. I have never tried HOKA before. I am not a runner but I walk several miles several days a week. I use Aetrex inserts so being able to use my own inserts was a plus. For the last several years I have been wearing New Balance 1080v8/1080v9. I ordered the NB 1080v10 and the design has changed so much they are no longer comfortable in any way, and I need to find another shoe. I have literally tried on seven different pairs of shoes in several different brands. I need a wider toe box, have a high instep, medium width foot, and I supinate. I was beginning to lose hope that I would find a shoe that would be comfortable and fit my foot. I have walked about 10 miles in these HOKA so far and my feet have not hurt, my toes have room to move, and the cushioning of the shoe is just an added bonus. I would recommend this shoe even if you are not a runner. I also like the color combinations.

I have been waiting for these. Background..have worn ASICS, Vionics, Brooks, Nike etc. These went far and above my needs. I have severe plantars and tendinitis. Been receiving PRP injections and on and on. When these arrived I slipped them on and WOW. Can’t tell you how exciting it was to walk on my tile floors with these marshmallows on. Could not feel any pain/discomfort. A smart investment for healthy feet! Oh happy Days!!!

I absolutely love these shoes, they are the only shoes that fit, and are extremely comfortable for my particular feet. However I have noticed a few reviews mentioned that the different colors have different types of cushioning, which I have noticed! Some much more comfortable than others - and the only thing I can attribute it to is the color of the sneaker. There is one particular color that is never in stock and that is absolutely the most comfortable for me! I haven’t been able to grab those in over two years!I really just wish that all the other colors would be consistent. It’s important for a quality control to have consistency across the colors.

I finally gave in and tried this brand and am so glad I did. They were comfortable right out of the box! Super cushion and feels supportive. I debated on getting a 9 or 9.5 since I ear both. I went with 9.5 and am glad I did. A bit of room but in a good way - foot feels secure. I do admit they are bulky so takes a bit of getting used to. But these color pattern in these helps them not look so obnoxious ;)

I ordered these from Zappos on Friday evening...by Sunday afternoon they were on my porch! Grabbed the 8.5 in the grape/purple color. I'm a heel striker so I tend to wear down shoes quickly or never have enough support and soon feel like I'm walking barefoot. As an active mom and someone who is on her feet all day at work...these are THE BEST thing that have happened to my body since I discovered Spanx...added bonus...they support AND you breathe easier. Buy one in every color, now, yesterday! Love. Seriously wish I could afford them in every color. Bit cheaper buying on Zappos than brand site. Great job zappos on customer service and delivery! My feet are so happy.

I have two pairs of Clifton 5 that helped a great deal when I first got plantar faciitis.... then I developed gout in the other foot. Bought the Bondi 6 for the pillow cushioning but I wasn't hopeful. I was wrong! The moment the shoe was on it felt so good and soon I had no more pain! My knee which had been acting up due to my altered gait also immediately started to improve. I just ordered my second pair after one day of wearing the Bondi 6...that is how immense my relief has been. If you have feet that kill you all the time from any of the variety of ills that affect them...try these. I did get the wide and they are perfection.

I went up a half size. Usually a 9 went to a 9.5. I do this with all my running shoes. I have very high arches but don’t feel I need additional support as the wide footbed helps me land and feel like I am rolling toward the outside of my foot. Overall great cushion. I usually run/walk in Asics Gel Kayano. I feel the ASICS offer a nice cushion too but are more narrow in the footbed and offer more arch support. Both shoes are really comfortable. I do love the wider footbed in the Hoka for my arches.

I'm a medical student and after my first week doing clinical rotations my feet wanted a divorce. Then one of the nurses recommended this shoe, and let me tell you I can't thank her enough! This is probably the best shoe I have ever owned. It's also probably the most expensive as well. But it's worth the money hands down! I'm now on my third pair and recommend them to anyone I know!

I ordered a 9 wide and the fit is perfect. Wide in the toe box, but not sloppy, and not sloppy at the heel. I got these for walking. I have a low back disorder, left leg weakness that sometimes causes my toe to drag. With these shoes, I am able to walk significantly farther, much less back pain, and have not yet tripped or stumbled over my toe, likely because of the good amount of curve at the toe. I started wearing them to work and told my boss that these are going to be my 'business casual' from now on.

I had originally ordered a 6.5 (my usually sneaker size) but returned and got a 6, which was perfect. Returning was super easy. I stand on my feet all day and these shoes have helped so much! The black/black looks great and masks the sneaker look for a more business casual appearance. Love the extra height the shoe gives and I like the look of the shoe. Shipping was super fast and quick, and customer service is the best!

Great fit, not a ton of arch support, but I use my orthotics and it does the trick! For a nurse with some dang old lady feet: arthritis, big toe joint replacement, neuroma and plantar fasciitis these shoes get me through the day!

I continue to wear Hoka Bondi as my one and only running shoe. I'm 69 years old and have been told I'll be a candidate for a knee replacement, although when is still a mystery. I have found these to be the most comfortable and supportive shoe I've worn. I walk/jog training for a couple half marathons before the end of the year - that will make my 19th and 20th half. I've been able to avoid knee pain with these, and also keep my plantar fascitis at bay. I have a high arch, probably about 10-15 lbs overweight at the moment. If I can just stay injury free, I hope to do a marathon next year. I also have Hoka trail shoes. Unless they change the shoe completely, I'm gonna stick with these.

I have sesamoiditis (inflammation) in the ball area of my left foot, which is painful and difficult to cure. I’ve been wearing these Hoka shoes for about a week. They are true to size, width and very lightweight. I feel very slight or no pain when walking in them, so I am very please. My sesamoiditis is not cured, I need to continue wearing a rigid souled sandal (similar to Birkenstocks), but I think these are helping.

If you're used to ordering up a half-size to get room for your foot to move, order true size in the Hoka One Bondi 6. Though the 7.5 Hoka's felt wonderful I exchanged for my true size of 7 and the fit is perfect. This is the most comfortable, stable walking shoe ever. Previously I've used only Brooks Pro Walker but discovered that I had supination when I developed tendonitis from walking on the outside of my feet. No problem in the Hokas. These shoes are every bit as wonderful as the review claim. Maybe other brands look sleeker, but these will support your feet without negatives.

This is the pair! I am very impressed with the Bondi 6. I have fat pad separation and a lot of pain if the shoes are not wide enough. The Bondi 6 was like putting on a slipper from the get go. I have other Hoka styles, but this is it! I couldn't walk or move very well, although they are pricey, I decided to give them a try based on other reviews. They are now my go to shoes and my feet have stopped hurting.

Bought these for running on pavement, have been having knee/foot pain this spring after time off from injury. Ran 6 right out of the box and they’re great. Run half size bigger than every other running shoe I’ve had.
