I thought these shoes were a joke when I saw the price tag....but I had a friend that highly reccomended them.. I am in my 40s, I have just started running again so I decided to give them a try., whether walking or running...My knees feel relief....so worth it. You are paying for comfort, not just a brand. Awesome choice, don't skimp on your feet.

Over all very cushiony. But it's achieved in a non traditional way. The sole is super thick but mildly firm. So the cushiony feel is achieved because of the thickness of the material not the plushness. This results in a super odd looking shoe (thick) and that makes you a full 1.5" taller but is very nice to run in. My only issues with the shoe is that the toe box is not large enough for me in my regular 2E width so I'm forced to order a 4E and the heal space ends up being a bit big for my foot. But its not an issue as I'm a mid foot striker and I lace them up with the extra hole to keep my heel set in the shoe. As a 250lb runner I think this is a great all around running shoe as it's cushy for a big guy with bad knees but doesn't suffer from the heaviness that some other brands do in a 14us 4E size. All and all, I really like this shoe and will order again.

I've had a foot injury which made it difficult for me to run in neutral shoes, even ones that are supposed to be cushioned (looking at you, Altra Torin Plush 4). After one run in Bondi, my feet felt BETTER than they did just walking barefoot, which was suprising. So, I'm sticking with them for now - hopefully the midsole lasts at least 6 months before I start feeling the impact.

I run, walk, overall usage is a lot - this is my second pair of
Bondi and the same problem still exists: left foot pain on the metal tarsals - mid foot - from shoe anatomy that is rough or minutely sticks out - same shoe same location something needs to change - wider version maybe

Support and cushioning are excellent! Best used on solid, flat surfaces as opposed to off-road. I would like the tongue to be slightly longer to facilitate putting on the shoe; especially since I use all of the eyelets on my left shoe since that foot is slightly smaller.

The cushioning is superior and surprisingly responsive, and the ride is great. I got these to help alleviate my aching, arthritic knee while running, and these have done the trick. I do get a minor hotspot/blister on my left foot near the front inside part of my arch at about the seven mile mark of my runs, but it's manageable. Either Hokas have gotten narrower over the years, or my foot has gotten wider because the the last versions of the Clifton, Rincon, Mach, and Clayton have all given me arch blisters. These aren't quite as bad, and hopefully thinner socks or a different insole will help.

Bought the Bondi 6 on sale. Have worn it a few times (above 40 deg days) with wool socks for walking. Currently max walked distance about 1.5 miles each time and the shoes are very comfortable and no issues as with some previous products. While the shoes are good, I would not buy these a full price (hence the 4 star rating).
Now to see how long they last and how comfortable they are with increased walking distances.

Ordered a wide Bondi 6 running shoe. While the shoe length is fine, it is definitely not wide IMHO.

The first I bought were perfect. However, the next pair seemed to be problematic for me and caused pain in my knees.

No doubts Hoka shoes are light , cushionable & elevated; causing your feet to feel better & suffer less stress. I have recommended to several friends that suffered fasciitis & they had helped. Since my 1st pair I have notice decrease quality of the bottom component, starts to peel. Is an observation...will see

This is the 2nd pair of Hoka's I have had and the top 'eyelet' for the shoelace has torn out. Previous Hoka's had a metal eyelets. Recommend you at least put metal reinforcement in the top two eyelets.

Shoes are great but the shoestrings have definitely been downgraded. They began fraying after just a couple of days. I am not hard on the shoes
I only wear them for walking.
