The shoe is so "plush' that you sink into it, mid stride and only finish the stride with great effort, This becomes very obvious by 3-4 miles in, making these shoes useless beyond a short distance. This is compounded by the lack of early stage meta-rocker and the lack of taper at the forefoot. I bought a second pair of these, before I'd run far enough to understand the problem. All attempts to return the second pair have been stymied since late March. My local store was closed and Hoka has avoided every conceivable attempt to contact them, though they have continued to contact me on other subjects.

I was very excited about getting a Hoka shoe as I've always had issue with foot pain and fatigue and usually on my feel several hours a day.
Had heard very positively from some healthcare colleague.
Unfortunately I found the Bondi 6 not really comfortable; actually caused me severe foot pain. I thought it must be a defective one.
I purchased 2 other pairs but all of them were they same. So ended up returning all. went back to my Nike Flynt knit which is 10 times more comfortable than these.
Still looking for something to beat the ones that I have tried so far.
Thinking of possibly try the Clifton!

I have purchased Hoka shoes for years and the quality has gone down hill. These shoes developed a hole in the fabric portion of the toe box within a month. I only were these shoes for my walks.

This Hoka One One Bondi 6 has a nightmarish arch support which is made of super-hard sole plastic material with no give in at all that pushes right into the inner edge of my feet After wearing for a half hour the insoles of my feet ache with each step and I have a red spot where a blister is starting to form. Due to this really hard arch I cannot use these shoes.

Not even four months later and one of the shoes has split open on the side where the material meets the rubber. Huuuuuuuge disappointment! Over $160 for that? Pathetic.

Cannot understand sizing on these. Ordered 'Men's 7 2E,' which is what box indicates in large lettering. In small lettering on third line, 'BONDI 6 WIDE,' and they are so snug they hurt to try on! What gives? Cannot keep, and will not reorder!

I have really wide 'duck' feet. I was looking for shoes that I could use at work and would be very comfortable. I tried these shoes almost every day for over 30 days.
Comfort
- Has very good support when walking and standing
- Rubs the top of my feet and arches. I had to replace the inside inserts with Dr. Scholls
- Tight around the front of the feet
Price too much especially when I feel at the end day I could not wait to get them off. I get to put some relief foot lotion to calm my aching feet
I would not recommend this brand of shoe if you have wide feet

The toe box is narrow even for a runner like me who has narrow feet (Altras feel too roomy for me). Shoes are bouncy and lightweight but the overall purchasing/return/refund experience was a nightmare.

The shoe fit well and there were no problems. The mesh got dirty and would not wash out- a permanent stain. Therefore, I am buying a Bondi 8- but darker. The Bondi 6 is a great shoe and I will use it as an around the house shoe.

The shoe was ready to wear right out of the box. It provides a cushion experience that feels like walking on air. The only glitch that I had, stains on the canvas would not wash out.

The Hoka One One Bondi 6 saved my feet!! I truly believe that! I struggled for years with plantar fasciitis taking turns between my two feet. I haven’t had it since within a week of wearing my first pair of Bondi 6, about two years ago. Though I get compliments on them all the time, they do make my feet look larger than they are. That’s okay. Worth it. I own two pairs of Bondi 6 and I am very pleased with both. I normally wear size 6 1/2 to 7 medium width, and wear size 6 1/2 medium in Bondi. When the Bondi 7 came out, I purchased a pair. Though I kept them, they are not nearly as comfortable nor as supportive, and the back of the heel feels like it has no structure, feeling bunched up in the back. I wear them when the color works better than my other two, but I wouldn’t wear them to work all day like I do the Bondi 6 (I’m on my feet all day.) And I certainly won’t buy another pair of the 7. I’m always on the look out for some leftover Bondi 6!

Size & Fit were as described, aligned with other similar shoes I buy. Hoka Bondi 6 has become my favorite shoe for walking, running and light workouts. The shoe is light weight with a breathable upper and cushioning arch supportive lower. The Hoka Bondi 6 along with the Nike Free RN are my two go to shoes. I recommend and will buy again.

These shoes are great for standing on concrete floors for 8+ hours a day! Maximum cushion to keep your feet from getting sore, and gives you a slight bit more height to feel more confident.

Most comfortable shoe ever! Max cushion feels like walking on clouds. This Bondi 6 only comes in 2E…not so perfect….The Bondi 7 which now comes in 4E (extra wide) is now perfect!!

I have owned these bandi 6 for 2 years. I was skeptical about buying the Hoka shoes as alot of things today are very gimmicky. These shoes have survived running, walking, mud, dirt, daily use at work, and paintball. It's a durable shoe. It's lasted two years so that makes the price worth it. I bought these because I wanted a comfortable soft shoe. Alot of shoes of popular brands are not comfortable and are just made for looks. Hoka makes a plush shoe. I would head to hoka site and pick out what best suits your foot. I feel the Bandi series covers a wide range of what someone is looking for in a shoe. They are soft and bouncy because of the thick midsole. I will gladly buy another pair in the bandi series. I can't believe these have lasted two years while major brands only last 6 months at most.

Never heard of Hoka shoes till a neighbor told me they had thick cushioning to lessen plantar fasciitis discomfort, and they do. The bottoms of my feet no longer hurt when I walk my dogs. Glad they make them in Wide (EE) size, couldn't find 8 Wide locally, so bought them online. Bought two pair, then a third pair when they went on sale.

I've been wearing the Bondi for over 6 years; a great shoe for jogging and light terrain hiking. The maximal stack height is perfect for me.

I bought these for my husband. He has had multiple surgeries on his feet since childhood. He has never found shoes that were comfortable. Due to the way he walks and his feet not being the same size, he puts lots of wear and tear on them. Usually by the first month, they've already started losing their shape because of his abnormal walking pattern. He was blown away by these shoes. New shoes usually cause one of his feet to go numb and stay that way until they start breaking down. These fixed that problem immediately. They are amazing! This is the only brand that we ever buy again!
