Lots of pain in calf's and lower leg muscles. Assuming this will improve overtime?

I ordered a pair of black Bondi 6 and started running in them. I started experiencing pain in my right ankle and knee that I had to seek medical attention for. Could not understand where it was coming from. My friends walking behind me noticed that my right ankle was bending in each time my right foot hit the ground with a stride while walking. I got home and removed the sneakers to observer the the upper on the right sneaker was defectively fastened to the lower part of the sneaker. It was crooked and caused my ankle to roll inward with each stride. I couldn't believe this poor quality control for a running sneaker company. I would otherwise have loved the cushioning for my PF, but I have lost confidence in this companies quality control.

This is my second pair, 1 st held up this pair pieces of the sole are hanging off bottom of shoe- very disappointing!! Not sure if I received a lemon pair?? Both my wife & I wear Hoka and have loved them ! Not sure if we should purchase again especially at this price point to fall apart in the first few weeks.

The Bondi killed my arches. Pain. Alot of it. I returned Bondi 6 in Black EE on 2/21/19 and still have not received a refund on 3 /3/19. They keep saying they'll fix it but they never do. I reported Decker Brands to the Better Business Beureu in California.

I purchased these Hoka walking shoes in October, 2018 from the Texas Running Company, Sugarland. I am an occasional walker; the shoes were also worn with jeans on casual occasions. This month the upper portion of the right shoe tore along the fabric mesh line near the arch. The tear runs parallel with the shoe's sole, and it appears that there's a sharp edge where the upper's fabric meets the sole. The shoe is super comfortable for walking, but I am not happy that I spent $150.00 on a walking shoe that lasted approximately four months.

Hoka makes great shoes, but over the last several years they have changed drastically. The cloud like feel that brought the shoe its success is no longer there, period. They feel like any other high cushioned shoe on the market, with the exception of the new ultra venture by Topo. I wish Hoka would try to replicate some earlier renditions of their shoe line up(Stinson Combo XT, Bondi speed) I really appreciate that they brought back the first edition of the Clintons back. I'd recommend giving these a shot, but if your new to trying this brand, Just of note, that the shoes have morphed into a basic high cushioned shoe, which can pretty much be found in any other brand. Again, thanks to Hoka for being the trend setters.
Hoka please bring back the ultra cushioned feel back.

This was my 3rd pair of Bondi's and it was a dud. With every step came a bad squeak from my right heel soon after I had some major hip issue's which caused me to see an orthopedic. I am on a fixed budget so I buy shoe when I have the money and store them. So these sat in my closet for 6 months before I wore them if I hadn't done that I would of taken 30 day guarantee.

I'm on my 8th pair of HOKA and I'm saddened that the Bondi cushioning has been replaced to be much stiffer. What made Hoka special was the cushioning... now it feels just like any other brand and lacks the expected comfort that was synonymous with HOKA.

Fell in love with Hoka because of the cushioning and wide widths. But not sure how and why this shoes continues to get modified each year. I've been using the Bondi for 4 years now and the most recent version (Bondi 6) game me an awful blister on the inside ball of both feet. Never had a problem before.
These are going back for the Bondi 5. Just not sure what I'm going to do next.....

Once the shoes arrived I compared them to comfort of my Bondi 5's which can't be done. The cushioning is as hard as a rock and made my after dinner walk unbearable. How they can mess this version up is beyond me. Furthermore, I contacted customer service and inquired as to if there might be some kind of a defect and was met with mindless responses and then our chat session was disconnected by customer service. I was an avid lover of Hoka and now will not buy from them again.

Been very dissapointed, after few years happy wth Bondi 5 and all family great fun of Hoka, I moved on and purchased the new Bondi 6 and unfortunately after less then 2 month I need to buy new shoes, the grip is gone.
The shoes want through very minimal daily use without any extream field condition
I always ensure to buy my shoes at major certified Hoka store

I've been running in the Bondi for 5 years now. I credit this shoe with increasing my longevity in triathlon. Bad knees had almost stopped me from running all together. Love the Bondi model and couldn't wait to try the 6. I have to say I'm disappointed in this shoe. Shoe is too narrow through the toe box, and the rubber on the heel is too thin and not hard enough. I consider myself a larger runner at 6'3 and 190 lbs., and I can't keep rubber on the heels. For the first time since starting in the Bondi, I had to go with the wide width and 2 long runs in the rubber on the heel is already through the textured surface. I always assumed this shoe was for larger runners who needed the extra cushioning. I'm not sure why it is becoming more narrow with a thinner softer sole? Seriously thinking about giving Altras a try, or maybe back to Asics Kayanos.
