I've been wearing Asics for several years as the best walking shoe after trying almost all of the other brands. It is hard to find them anywhere except sports stores anymore so I order online. The last two pairs I have ordered have not been at all what I needed. Almost no arch support and very stiff. I had to return both pairs.

I bought these recently and couldn't bear to walk in them after they arrived in the mail! I had a pair of Cumulus 18s that I wore holes in because they were the most comfortable shoes that I've ever had. This model lacks the cushion, and comfort that I had previously. I will be returning these and searching for a different option.

I ran in these shoes for the past 12 years (yes actually 12 years) and I loved them and I mean LOVED them...! But the gel cumulus 20 just feels horrible!! They feel very stiff and uncomfortable. I ran cross country in high school in the past and now I run marathons my knees never hurt but now they do! I was hoping it would take a few runs to make these shoes feel better but that did not work. It just keep getting worse. I am extremely disappointed!! As soon as I pulled these out of the box I realized they don't even look the same I want the old shoes back.. Beware these shoes are not the same if you loved them in the past!!

This product is not your old cumulus you know and love. The strong median is gone and the cushion you adore is gone as well. I've run in cumulus for the last 7 years and I'm very upset to say I might be switching companies to find a comparable shoe.

LOVE ASICS - this shoe however whether it's a design flaw or a manufacturing flaw is the awful. My shoe size hasn't changed but in this shoe the toe of my right foot is almost protruding from the toe of the shoe. It's sad because I need a new pair and this one just wasted my time.

Do not compare to earlier models. Consistently sore after running in these (I run 40-50 miles per week). I hoped the issue was that there was going to be a "break in" period, but the shoes do not provide comparable cushion to previous models of the cumulus (which is the primary shoe I have run in for years). Gel near ball of foot not present in new (Cumulus 20) model and the shoe feels flat and stiff, especially as you add in more miles. I never get blisters and also continue to get blisters in these, regardless of what socks I use (I have tried 3 different types of Balegas). Would not recommend for old Cumulus fans or long distance runners looking for cushion or any give in their shoe. Overall: Inner material is too slick, toe box is wider than previous models, and cushioning non-existent compared to previous models of the Cumulus. Super disappointed.

I have worn Asics gel cumulus for years. I normally wear a 6 1/2 m but I have always needed a 7 1/2 W in these. These run very narrow. I have been wearing the Gel Cumulus I had to keep from getting more blisters.
