These shoes feel great while running on the treadmill. The recommendation on other review says to order half size up, but I wish I had ordered a full size up. Overall, a great shoe.

I've been purchasing the Gel-Cumulus for the last 4 years because it had been very cushy. I walk on concrete sidewalks and I have issues with one knee because of an accident. I was introduced to the Gel-Cumulus at a running store fitting. (I bought these online because of my good history with this model shoe) My first two pair were like walking on pillows. They were great for my knees. I can't say the same for the G-C 20. Most of the cushioning is gone. I kept this shoe because it fits well and has a strong arch support. I'll need to explore other shoes before I buy my next pair. The shoes are well constructed, just not as cushy as I've come to expect.

This shoe is more rigid when compared to the normal Cumulus. But love ASICS either way.

I owned the Cummulus 17 and loved them. Very cushiony and comfortable. Needed a replacement so tried the Cummulus 20. It is not as flexible and feels a bit stiff when you first try it. I have worn it a few days now and I like it. I mainly use it for treadmill and walking so I think it will be fine for those uses. I have a high arch so I need supportive shoe. It is not the same as the prior version but I like it and will keep it. Bought the black and white and love the style. Overall I do recommend.

Great running shoe! I’ve put a little over 120 miles on them and they just started wearing out.

After a few months of wearing these shoes I am quite happy with my purchase. I bought the regular width and that fits my rather narrow feet well. Originally I found the soles too stiff but they became softer with time. I weigh 105 lb and a heavier person may find them less stiff. The toe box is wide enough for my feet. I wear prescription inserts so I can't comment on the arch support.

I don't think Asics hit the right footbed as with the Kayano 25. The 20 version isn't as tight as the 18 version (I've got both that I'm wearing at the same time). The 20 is a version that I can last in all day with solid support. I got the black and white for a street shoe, size 9, 138 pounds, 5'7". I'm good with this overall even if the toe box seems a little snug still. Thanks to Zappos for a speedy delivery.

I have owned several pairs of Asics Cumulus. I gave the "20" model four stars because I don't like the white on the tongue. It would look better if it was the same color as the shoe. I did like the laces. Overall a very comfortable shoe.

Reviews were good, so I bought these. They're comfortable to run in, but as soon as I stop, my left arch starts to burn. Really comfy though.

I have worn several Asic Cumulus shoes, but unfortunately these have less cushioning than my used pairs have after many months of wear. Cushioning is the most important feature that I look for when I buy shoes. So sadly I will have to return the shoes.

Have worn the Cumulus 18s for two years, and was surprised at the size difference here. Couldn’t get my normal size or the half size larger (12) to feel right with my custom orthotic insert. Thanks to Zappos for the 30-day run promotion as I was able to try these outside over the course of a couple of weeks - I was that close to keeping them. Sad to have to send them back as the black ones looked awesome. Comfortably wide toe box too.

I bought this shoe because I have wide feet and very few shoes fit me. I was a little upset when I first tried them on because the shoe was very snug width wise. After wearing them around the house for a little while, they started to feel a little better. Since then, I have worn them for quite a few runs and they feel pretty comfortable. Because of the width, I feel like I am always ordering shoes a 1/2 size too big. If you have wide feet, stick to the true sizes (length wise). Over time, the shoe will adjust to your width. Good luck to anyone who is looking for wide width shoes! I understand your struggle of very few options!

These shoes are awesome! The material is very breathable and lightweight. The gel is so comfortable and provides that extra support and comfort when I am out running or walking. The colors are very vibrant (blue and pink), perfect for people to see me on the roads I run on. If you are going to buy these shoes I would suggest going with a half size up as I ordered my normal 8.5 and it was VERY snug. I'm still in the process of breaking them in though. Overall awesome shoe for the avid walker or runner.

After some research through Asics as to which shoes best suits me, I decided to go with these. However, maybe about five minutes of wear the outer heals of my feet began hurting!!! This was not supposed to happen. Since Asics policy states no returs with worn shoes I have to keep them!

This shoe looks stable and supportive and good looking. I purchased a "wide" in this style and I do not believe that it is actually wide. I also think that it ran a little short. I will be looking at Asics shoes in the future, but in person; not try to buy shoes on line. As soon as this pandemic is over, I will be looking to buy a pair of Asics that I can try on in the store. As far as shipping and returns the process is very easy.

Wore only once so far. The left shoe made my foot hurt. Hoping it will get more comfortable with more wear.

I have had these shoes for three months, and have run in them four times, and the half of the treads on the ball of my foot are worn smooth (see photo). Not super supportive and not long-lasting. The only redeeming quality is the fun color. Disappointed in the performance of this shoe.

Is Asics using less durable material for the soles than they used to? I've only run 35 miles in these, and I've already worn off 1/16 inch in spots! They also don't seem as wide as previous wide versions of this shoe. Otherwise, pretty good.

They're decent. They are definitely tighter than the 17s that I had. I loved my 17s I also think the arch support was better in the 17s. But these are definitely better than what I was wearing before I bought these.

Overall a good running sneaker. Feel like they definitely need to be broken in a bit and then will fit better/be more comfortable.
I'd also recommend:

I have been wearing Asics for at least 10 years, and I have loved them in the past. However, this Gel-Cumulus does not meet the Asics standard, It is smaller than the same sized sneaker I have purchased in the past, and feels narrower. The arch seems to fall closer to my toes than my arch really is. I will not return the shoe (too much trouble) and probably wear it for short walks and jogs, but I'm pretty disappointed.

I am a long time cumulus lover since I found out it's the best thing for my feet. My issue with the 20 is the tightness of the shoe box. I wear wide width and even then it was still too tight for me. The arc support and comfort remained the same. I hope this design issue changes with the 21
