Not great for long periods of time if you're flat-footed. Kayano's much better in that department. Still a good shoe though; glad I got it on clearance.

Narrow for a men's D width and felt small overall for a 9D.

The biggest problem is that the laces are too short for tying them properly for running. I have a high instep though. Otherwise, it's a nice looking shoe, quite comfortable out of the box.

I wanted to rate these higher as my husband loved them but they fell apart after just a couple months. My husband is not very hard in shoes so it was a disappointment.

Meh. I'm a runner but I bought these because I liked how they looked and I needed a pair of sneakers for errands, kids sports, playing outside, etc. The heel drop is too high and the whole shoe felt tight and narrow. Good looks, bad fit, I wouldn't run in them.

I've bought ASICS GEL-Cumulus for many years. This is the first time the size was too small. I ordered size 8, but they were so small I could barely get my feet in. The top of my foot was uncomfortably smashed against the top of the shoe. Guess I'll return them and try a half size larger...

The shoes does not fit so well, very loose in front area. But is my case, shoes design and color are very nice. I returned it.

I recently purchased the Gel Fortitude by Asics and loved them. This sneaker seems cheaply made. Also, the color looked red and is listed as red in the photos. They definitely look more orange upon receipt.

Fine and comfortable shoes when at rest but seems shoes seem to be tighter than my previous pair and pain with my long runs in my feet and so I am not going to use them for my Marathon this Saturday which is the reason I bought these in the first place, not sure why they are different, my R foot slaps on the ground when running and just feel different.

Long time Asics user until a few years ago when I ventured into a few pairs of Brooks and Hokas. I decided to go back to my old faithful Asics and boy do I remember why I left in the first place. This shoe has astonishingly low energy return and responsiveness and it is certainly not as soft of a ride as my old Asics (Kayanos, Nimbus, Cumulus). There are a few quality inconsistencies as well. The seam on the left shoe connecting the inner heel cup to the sole is way to narrow this I am standing on it, while the tongue on the right shoe is stitched in at a weird angle thus it doubles up creating unnecessary pressure. The shoe is stable and the durability seems to be solid, but it's just that, the shoe feels too solid to the point where it is clumsy, stiff, hard and loud. Perhaps I received a lemon giving the LE color a try...but I am not pleased and recognized again what caused my allegiance to stray before.

I noticed the heel cup is not forgiving. It is rigid and created blisters on the inside of heel there fore returning shoes.

Not same fit as the Cumulus 19 which has excellent arch support and deep heel support. Not as much Arch or heal support on the 20. Asics used to stick to same fit when introducing the new version of same model but that seems to have chanced recently as this also happened to me on the Excite models. Very frustrating

Very disappointed in this shoe. Not as much cushion as previous versions of the Cumulus and the area surrounding the heel is very stiff.

I started walking and jogging with Cumulus 5 years ago. I'm 6'2" and weigh about 200 pounds. Usually the shoes last a year. The Cumulus 20 lasted less than 6 months. I liked the light weight of the shoe but it was not worth the lost of cushion, structural support and durability. Smaller runners will probably not experience these issues.

It was about 3 weeks ago I order two pair of shoes Asics gel cumulus 20 and Brook addiction 13. Asics got here first Brook 2 days later. The Asics were very narrow in size and order one step above my normal wear. The shoes were not comfortable and even added some extra cushion for the heel. The extra cushion in the heel made a little better. The Brook was much better out of the box. I also have my view on the Brook as well compare to the Asics. The Asics was lighter (not by much) than the Brook. I walk a lot by choice and the Asics were not that comfortable at the end of my walk. I will still use them from time to time, they are not that comfortable. Brook brand was much better.

I had been running on Cumulus since the 12, but this version is simply the worst. I do 5ks everyday, at about 5min/mile, have a neutral step and land on my heel. This shoe is well below expectations. There's simply too much movement inside the shoe, as it offers no stability at all. The sole is quite gone after 15 miles (five runs!). The shoe offers a lot of cushioning, bu it deforms too much when the heel hits the ground.

Two days ago this shoe would have been 5 stars! Three previous pairs have been very comfortable for at least 350 miles before they were worn out. Unfortunately I can't post photos here to show where the foam in the sole of the left shoe split at the inside of the rear heel pad. The rear heel pad is pulling away from the sole of the shoe and the foam has 3/4" tear in it. This happened after only 80 miles and I am not a heel striker. This is my (3rd) pair of Cumulus 20's this year along with (2) Gel-Nimbus 21 and (2) pair Gel Venture 6. In addition, I just bought myself (3) more pairs of the GEL-Cumulus 20 for my Christmas present to myself. I am seriously considering eating the cost of the return shipping and sending these (3) new pairs back because of this issue. I have been faithful to the Asics brand since I bought my first pair as an 11 year-old in 1973 when they were known as ONITSUKA TIGER. Hopefully this is an isolated incident but it really sucks when you are on a budget.

Bought these in a standard width but they are anything but standard. Too narrow and nowhere near the standard width of all my other Asics shoes. If you have a really narrow foot, these might work but standard width is really a narrow width in this shoe. Really unfortunate as I was looking forward to using these but cannot do so since they are way too tight.
