Very comfortable support and nice mesh upper but it was too tight on the top of my instep. I have a high arch and every shoe I own is too tight on top. So nothing new.

These are a good value and they fit as expected. I bought them primarily for walking, so I'm not sure yet about running in them. They seem to have a little less arch support than other Brooks running shoes I've had but for my purposes, they are great shoes.

I am a huge fan of Brooks but they seem to run about 1/2 -1 full size smaller than other running shoes. Order 1/2 a size up. If they had these in a bigger size I would buy them...now I wait for my size to hopefully come in.

Good support and true to size

I have a few pairs of Brooks running shoes. These fit and are comfortable but do seem slightly smaller than my other 9 1/2s . I like the way they look. I think they are great summer running shoes, feel cooler.

The Revel 2 is a comfortable shoe. The cushioning in the heel is thick, but I didn't find it pushed my ankle forward or was uncomfortable. I love that Brooks shoes have a wider forefoot. The insole isn't as great for overpronation as the one in the Adrenaline, but I still found it supportive. My only gripe with these shoes (and all women's running shoes in general) is the color options available--why do they always have to be in bright colors or metallics?

Good looking work out shoes with mod amt of arch support that fit a little smaller than I usually wear. They work well for the light to medium training that I do in the gym.

I wish the arch support was better for the amount you pay for them.

I was pleasantly surprised by this shoe. chose it off the ratings. glad I did. tho I returned the lighter color. I love the darker color and they dont scunch my lil toe. bye bye Asics

I've worn Asics for years but they don't fit like they used to. Not as well made and issues with the toe box. So I decided to try Brooks. I went to a local store and tried on the styles of Brooks available and the Revel 2 felt pretty good, no issues with the toe box! They have good support and after wearing them at home I decided to keep them. I bought the grey/white/artic rose color in size 8 which is my normal size. The artic rose is actually more of a mauve, more purple than rose. I tried them with and without my personal orthotics and they are comfortable both ways. My feet are slightly narrow especially the heels and I don't have any heel slippage in these. This color wasn't an option at the store so I ordered from Zappos plus Zappos return policy can't be beat. I'm not crazy about the color selections Brooks offers, these were the most neutral in my opinion and I prefer not to have white around the bottom but I sprayed them with Scotchgard and hope for the best. I would buy Brooks again for the comfort though I would love to see some lighter colors and some with grey around the bottom.

I ordered the white/champagne color in my typical size, hoping for a pair of neutral sneakers. I wasn’t completely sold on the crochet look when I ordered them but was attempting to find comfort too. When they arrived, I was pleased to find that the drab appearing grayish white sneaker was quite sparkly with gold thread. In the end, they’re not as comfortable or supportive as the Brooks Adrenalin that I also bought, but I couldn’t pass up the sparkle ?

I fell in love with the Glycerine 15 model of Brooks to run in. Even recently bought a pair off of poshmark since they don’t sell that model anymore.... But decided to give these a shot. They are not as cushioned as the glycerine- not as much support in the heel area- but overall they were comfy. I would still choose the Glycerine to run in over these though. Also usually am a 7 in shoes (except 7.5 in glycerines) and bought a 7.

Very comfortable shoe but not for high intensity aerobic workouts. Little lateral support and moderate cushion. Very cute and stylish but not for my workout

I wanted these to be perfect, and they came close. But after wearing them around the house for a while, I had to admit that the toe box is just a tad narrow, especially with my orthotics inserted. And the orthotics are necessary; the insole isn't especially cushioned or supportive. I ordered the black/purple, and they do look more purple than black, which would have been OK with me but might put others off if they're searching for truly black shoes. At any rate, I am reluctantly returning them and the search continues.

I usually wear a 7.5 or 8, but in running shoes I size up. So an 8.5 works perfectly. I was replacing my Ravenna 6 shoes by Brooks, which I couldn't find. These feel very similar in that they are lightweight and allow me to feel the ground while I'm wearing them (something I like). Good support, breathable (but strange and frankly ugly) fabric. The metallic detail on the side saves them in the looks department, but I do wish Brooks had not chosen that fabric. Why must most running shoes be so ugly or tacky? Still, happy with my purchase.

This is my second pair of Brooks. My knees and back feel so much better after wearing these for a couple of days. Since this is my second time purchasing Brooks, I know that I’ll be enjoying these for a while!

I don't think any words I type here can testify more strongly to my relief at having discovered these than will my having just now purchased my second pair. The pair I got just over two months ago is still going strong through my roughly 50-mile weeks of running--almost all of that on paved surfaces. I hate over-controlling, over-interventionist shoes, but neither can I go all the way to the flimsy and barely-there end of the spectrum without injury. The Revel 2s are solid, with out-soles that don't wear away after only a couple of weeks (as was the case with another Brooks model I tried last year). As for fit, the grip of the shoe on my narrow instep and heel, with, however, plenty of wiggle-room for my toes, is a combination I am ever in search of! A SLIGHTLY more cushiony feeling and SLIGHTLY less weight would render these running sneaker perfection for me...... but those are just quibbles. (P.S. I gave 4 stars for "style" only because forced to complete that part in order to have my review submitted; look is not a priority for me.)

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found a shoe/sneaker that actually fits my "longer" foot!!! I wear an 11 1/2, so am always trying to either squeeze into an 11 (ugh) or flopping around in a 12. With sneakers of course, I order a 1/2 size up - 12. But it's usually just a hair too short for one foot - - and 12 1/2 are a rare item! Well these shoes WORK! I haven' actually WORN them yet - but because of the woven type of material, they'll be fine, I'm sure. WHEW! After buying and returning LOADS of sneakers, these are the keepers! And they're actually kind of cute (for a 12).
