Compared to the discontinued original Brooks Levitate, there is not enough support/cushioning in the forefoot for road running 6-8 miles: too much feel of the ground.
In addition, the knit design in the front of the shoe might look cute on a sweater gift from grandma but I'm not sure about the same design on a shoe.
Too bad I can't return as I've already worn twice (and re-ignited an old stress fracture on my right foot). Still searching for that Levitate replacement and the Levitate 2 is NOT it.

Liked the light weight, but provides little support. Would not run in these shoes. Purchased to wear for support and stability due to arthritic knees. This style does not do the job.

DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES. I have to return them only after a few weeks of wearing. The shoes are ripping in each Lace hole on the right shoe. So disappointed, as these brand of shoes came highly recommended.

Don't buy the black and gold unless you want a really sparkly shoe. I'm disappointed because I have other revel 2s and they've never been glittery. This looks like a child's shoe and I was so excited to get them and wear them to the gym, now I'm sending them back and hoping the other ones don't look like a bathbomb exploded them

The shoes look good, fit well and they are light feeling. However, when I wore them for half of a day, my feet were sore and hurt. Such a shame because I have loved Brooks in the past! There is no arch support which is disappointing. Do not recommend!
