I had 3 pairs of Ghost 10 that had a lot of cushion. These are not nearly as comfortable to me.

Miss the ghost 10. This update to ghost 11 they have cheapened it and the floor base where your toes sit is very hard. Returning

I loved the Brooks Ghost 10 but it has been replaced by the ghost 11. One pair the roe box collapsed , returned, the second pair i ordered has a very hard foot pad where your toes sit. Not near as comfortable. It’s like they took the ghost 10 and cheapened it some and now new t as good a product. Bummer. Have to find a new brand

I have 2 pair of the Ghost 10's I loved, these not so much. The color choices were not my favorite I went with the black, pink aqua first and they were so ugly so I sent them back for the gray pair I just don't love either. But I was looking for a running shoe and fit is more important. The toe box is huge compared to the 10's and I don't feel the cushion under the ball of the foot is as good either I have run a few 3 milers in them and they are comfortable enough but I guess I was just disappointed they were so different from the 10's, but that seems to be the trend with running shoes these days. :(

This was my first time buying Brooks. I usually wear the Saucony Triumph ISO. These Brooks Ghost were a little to large for me. I run between an 8.5-9 in running shoes. I bought the 9 and they were too roomy in the toe and my ankle moved in them too much. I wasn't loving them. After doing some research I ended up with the Brooks Adrenaline size 8.5. These fit me better than the Ghost. I went on a 4 mile run with them right away and didn't have any problems. I think these will end up being a great running shoe.

Back to the drawing board I go for a decent, consistently sized running shoe for my neutral foot! I bought the Brooks Ghost 11 in a size 8.5 and the left shoe felt significantly shorter than the right - my toes were slammed all the way up in the toe box. My right foot is a tad larger than my left, so this surprised me. No matter, I just order up a size right? Wrong. The size 9 seems significantly more than a half size bigger. Took them out for a run (sorry Zappos, I'm testing your customer service cred here) and my foot was sliding all over the place, so back they go. Not sure what to make of running shoes these days. Asics used to be my go to, but their inconsistent sizing and styling lost me a couple years ago. I'm still wearing my Nimbus 16's!!

I ordered Brooks Glycerin 16, Ghost 11, and Levitate 2 in order to compare each model and see which fit best. I wear a women's size 12. It seems to me that the Glycerin 16 now runs even shorter than the 15's and the toe box is also narrower. The Ghost 11 is also too short and too narrow. Levitate 2 fits length and width. Not sure why shoe companies keep changing their fit on a specific shoe model year to year. It makes it impossible to just reorder. Why don't they make a completely different model with a different fit if they want to switch things around!

I've been running exclusively in New Balance for over 10 years but this model from Brooks had really high marks on its reviews and I was looking to try a new model so gave them a try. . . firstly, they seem to run wider than the other reviews suggested. I don't have a narrow foot, just medium, but throughout the Ghost 11 shoe it felt just a bit too wide both in the toe box and middle of the shoe. Length wise they fit true to size but I think the added width may have contributed to the effects I had from wearing them over just 3 days. I run moderate distances of about 3-5 miles and even on the first day I noticed wearing the Ghost 11 gave me knee pain that I hadn't felt in a really long time. On day 2, I started to feel like I was getting shin splints, which as an experienced runner I was shocked to feel since I haven't had shin splints in at least 6 years. And finally after the 3rd or 4th running day in these I went to bed with ankle pain from an old injury that hasn't given me problems in at least 4 years but is now flaring up. Lastly, a minor thing I noticed is that the front of the shoe doesn't have good traction and does a "slip and squeak" while walking over sidewalks. This made me a little nervous about possible falls. I was really bummed out since I had such high hopes for these shoes... ** The one positive thing about wearing these was the springy heel but overall I would rank these only suitable for walking / standing long periods and think they might perform better in this capacity than they do for running

Brooks Ghost 11 has apparently replaced Brooks Ghost 7, my favorite workout shoe. Brooks 11 runs 1/2 size larger than the Brooks Ghost 7 and is less attractive in my opinion. I ordered the blue shoes and the white/turquoise soles extend out beyond the body of the shoe making my feet look wide. This would probably be less noticeable with an all-black or all-white shoe. They were too large for me and I didn't like the appearance so I"m returning.

The ghost 1 was always so comfortable for my sensitive feet. The were my 'go to" shoe. I hoped for the same with the Ghost 11 but they felt cheap and lacked support. So disappointed. I have now switched to a different brand.

Shoe was great until it started making a creaking noise after a month of wearing them. It’s driving me crazy and I know I will end up not wearing these shoes because of it. With the price that is very disappointing!!

The white, black, and pink shoe is very pretty! Although I usually wear the Asics Dynaflyte, I purchased these shoes because of the reviews and the colors of the shoe. I took the shoes to indoor pickleball and wore them on the court just a little to check out how they felt. After a little bit of playing, my back and feet hurt. This does not happen typically with my Asics shoes, so unfortunately I decided the shoes must not have offered me enough support. I will sadly have to send them back. I would love to keep them, but since they don't seem to offer the support I need for pickleball, I will go back to the Asics. These shoes would probably be fine for gym classes, but I need pickleball shoes currently. These are very cute shoes and they looked and felt great! I just wish they offered a little more support! (I wish they costed $50....I'd just keep them because they are so pretty!)

I ordered the black and white Ghost 11. I really liked the color choice and the shoe had adequate cushion. I just recently had reconstructive foot surgery for flat foot and a ruptured tendon. This shoe has no arch support. I can't take a chance on not having the support I need following surgery. I am returning them and I will try out the Brooks glycerin.

I have worn Brooks shoes in the past and have always loved them. Sadly, I need to return these and I am not really sure why except they are very uncomfortable. They seem to fit length wise and have a good amount of padding. Maybe it's the toe box but after walking for about 30 minutes,I noticed that my feet were really killing me. I notice many reviewers mention that they run small but I really feel that a larger size would be too loose. These are just not the shoes for me. Love the look of them, though.

So I originally ordered a half size larger based on prior reviews before returning and ordering a full size larger. Unfortunately the tow box is still too small so I have to return these too.

I saw these shoes listed on a 'best of' shoe list for cushioning and support. Yes, they felt reasonably comfortable and very light, but I immediately noticed a more recent complaint I've had about other running shoes: no finish craftsmanship where the tongue joins the top of the shoe. It's a bunch of loose, raw selvage edges that rub the top of my foot. Not pleasant even if the footbed were perfect (not here). Not so with my Saucony Redeemers--beautifully stitched down and smooth. So back to the Sauconys for this gal.

I really like the Ghost 11 but I didn't feel like I had enough arch support and I have had issues with my arches in the past. I went back to the Hoka Clifton.

I first ordered the size I normally wear in running shoes, and they were too short. I ordered a half size larger, and perhaps the shoe was labeled incorrectly - the shoes seemed no longer than the first pair I purchased. I'll try going up a full size over what I normally wear in running shoes (e.g., asics.)

I had a ghost 10 which I liked a lot. When I put on the ghost 11 and began to walk, the arch crunched and crackled under my foot, and I think broke immediately. I'm returning it.

The shoe fit fine. However, the material to me looked cheap, and it also looked as if it would not wear very well. I am a loyal Brooks' fan, but I returned these.

At first, these shoes felt great! Great arch support and a nice sock like feeling shoes (if you prefer a shoe like this). After walking in them, my lower back started to hurt and my heals started to noticed how hard the shoes are. They didn't work for me. My lower back was scream by the end and my feet hurt.

I was looking for something a step up from my Nike Zoom and I think this shoe fits the bill. Like other reviewers helpfully share, the toe box is pretty roomy, I like the mesh and the arch support is pretty good (my foot feels supported). This shoe is a little heavier than the lightweight Nike's but not so heavy necessitating a return; and again, this feels like a more supportive/sturdier shoe than the typical Nike, so it's just a tradeoff. The base of the shoe near the top of the foot is a little wider -- not the interior shoe, just the sole of the shoe which is a little new for me but it does support the foot (admittedly, probably better than other brands). I read you should never have a shoe where (when you step down) your toes are wider than the base of the shoe -- this is perfect, toes completely supported. The reason for the overall three stars is these color combinations are not attractive to me. I still want to look cute at the gym! I settled on the navy and sky blue and the heathered mesh sort of reminds me of denim. I just wish there were different/more color combinations to choose from. I like to wear a fun, bright, energetic looking workout shoe and these are kind of boring and I just don't personally like the color combinations Brooks chose. But the old adage 'ugly running shoes fit better' may be true here, bc overall this feels like a good shoe. (And in fairness, I wouldn't say they are 'ugly' I just wish they were cuter :-) Brooks is a solid brand so I am optimistic. Thanks to the great, detailed Zappos reviewers, too; they really made choosing this shoe easy for what I was looking for.

I have worn the ghost shoes for 5 years and have loved every pair, until now. I was so excited to get the ghost 11 until I wore them. With all the other models that cured my knee, hip and back pain. The ghost 11 causes so much pain in these areas I can only ware them one day then I have to use my ghost 10 the next 2 days. I've never had to do this with the other models. I'm very very disappointed in the 11. I've always bragged about how great of a shoe they are but not the 11. I don't know what they changed to cause such a difference but change it back please on the 12. I'm going to have to buy another pair of 10's so soon after just buying the 11's. That's not good for me because I just purchased the 11's 3 weeks ago. Not a happy ghost right now!!

I have traditionally ran in both Asics Gel Kayano series and in more recent years the Saucony Ride series. I tried the Saucony ISO model which replaces the Ride series. But the arch was noticeably higher and enough for me to look at Brooks Ghost 11. My foot size has always been 13 2E, but Ghost 11 were surprisingly tight. There is no size 13.5 and size 14 is too large. Therefore, the salesperson suggested I try New Balance 880v8 and those fit similarly to my Saucony Ride running shoes. Overall, I was disappointed because the shoe felt comfortable otherwise.
