I don't know why shoemakers insist on tinkering with their shoes. The Ghost 10 was an awesome shoe, extremely comfortable right out of the box and the Ghost 11 is not even close to as good of a shoe. The 11 seems not as wide and not as cushioned I was very disappointed.

Normally always wear a 10 wide which was way too small - even an 11 was tight in both directions.

Very disappointed. I have worn Ghost 10 before and really liked them. Very comfortable. The Ghost 11 is supposed to be the next generation of the Ghost 10 but does not fit well - must have done a design change on the shoe platform. The Ghost 11 toe box is much wider than the Ghost 10 design and allows my feet to move side to side within the shoe when walking. They look great just not as good a fit as the Ghost 10.

There's something about Brooks athletic shoes that hurts my high arch and makes the top of my feet feel sharp shooting pains. This shoe was recommended to me because I have a high arched foot with a wide toe bed but this is the second pair of Brooks that immediately started causing immediate foot pain (I wasn't even standing up) as soon as put them on. The shoes leave me plenty of toe room but there's something about the design of Brooks that hurts my feet. Also, when I walk, I feel like my foot is walking in a tilted position. I'm flabbergasted 'Ghost' shoes have such a stellar reputation because my feet hate them. These are going back and I'm not going to ever purchase Brooks shoes every again, even though they are well made.

Bottom treads on one shoe began peeling off 30 min after I started wearing them (indoors). The shoe/treads have hardly any glue on them, and the glue is about as strong as the adhesive on post-it notes. Thwe other shoe seems to be OK. On their way back. Shoddy construction/QA!

Brooks quality continues to deteriorate. Had these shoes for three weeks and the sole is falling apart. It’s a shame, brooks needs help. I am done with their products. Too expensive to not even last a month.

It was a perfect fit for me. First time for me with Brooks after staying with New Balance all life, since I have 4E and New Balance was always a great fit. Wanted to try something different. Turns out, in 4 short months, the toe support on my right foot just collapsed, and became loose. In short, NOT MADE TO LAST - at least the one I got.

I have been wearing the Ghost 8,9, and 10 the last few years and LOVED them. Much to my disappointment, Brooks re-designed the shoe this year. It is thinner material, slightly different design and feels like a lightweight, cheap shoe to me now. My feet have been very happy in the past year models, but suffered terribly in this years model. Zappos was awesome about letting me return them for a full refund even though I had worn them for a week. I had one pair of the Ghost 10 in my closet which I am happily wearing now. My coworker and his wife have been Ghost fans as well and had to return theirs for the same reason, so I know it is not just me. If Brooks is reading this, please pass this on to your design team for the Ghost 12. Please bring back the quality, cushioning, and design of past years!!!!

I have been buying Brooks shoes for years although this is the first time I purchased the Ghost model. The pair I received had a weird problem with the arch support. The right shoe was great, fit exactly right. The left shoe had very little support on the arch but tons on the outside of the shoe. It fit like an over pronation support shoe rather than the neutral it was supposed to be. This caused my foot and ankle to twist at an odd angle and after trying to break them in for an hour, my knee started to hurt. I had to return them. I love the Brooks brand but won't touch the Ghost model again.

I really like this shoe but the sole started peeling away from the toe after the first run. I'm hoping it's just something wacky with this pair (I will exchange) as otherwise the shoe is very comfortable.
