There probably isn’t enough space for the laundry list of problems with my feet, but in a nutshell I have flat, wide feet, am a rare supinator and am currently suffering from achilles tendinitis and a massive bone spur on my heel. So finding shoes that work for all these issues is super fun! Enter the Brooks Bedlam. Unfortunately the Bedlams don’t come in a wide width, and for my feet, ideally, I could use a little extra width. However, the medium width still fits pretty awesome even for a wide foot and I’d say they’re definitely true to width for medium width feet. But let’s talk about what’s really awesome about these shoes. First of all, I really struggle finding running shoes that will work for my flat feet because often there is too much arch support, if that makes sense, and my feet can’t handle a huge arch. I need support, but not so much that my arches start to hurt. What I love about Brooks shoes in general is that the arch support for me is just right! These Bedlams are no different. Secondly, what makes the Bedlams so special is the cushioning. Almost immediately after I put them on, my bone spur-riddled heel feels infinitely better. I think it’s partially due to the energizing, cushioned footbed, but also because the back heel, up to the sock-like ankle area is cushioned more than any other shoe I’ve ever had. The cushioning and support is like heaven on my feet and the shoes are super light! These shoes may not cure my bone spur ailments, but they sure make them feel a lot better! I also appreciate the knit upper and the fact that the shoe is fairly subdued. Sometimes it’s fun to have something a bit louder, but sometimes it’s also nice to have something a bit more understated and the gray/coral color scheme definitely gives you that. I’d say, if you’ve got problem feet, definitely give these a try!

I love my new Brooks Bedlam running shoe. There are some great improvements since my Ravenna 9’s. I feel like Brooks was really listening to the customer reviews. They are the support and cushion I need for my daily running and boot camp workouts. I got my usual size 7.5 and they are true to size. The toe box is roomier, which I like. They are very stylish, love the new look and color scheme ( white, grey and salmon). I also like the change to an elastic collar, my socks stay in place and they are super comfy. If you pronate and need a supportive shoe, then this is your shoe.

Oh my gosh. These shoes fit me like a glove and all of these years I've been buying Brooks addiction because I'm a Walker and I could have been wearing these running shoes and had far more comfort! I now wear a size 10 and have a bunion, biplantar fasciitis, and heel spurs. So it's a big deal to me to find a pair of shoes that fit so well and provide comfort cushioning and support. The Brooks addiction are hard and stiff and I would always end up limping then I always wondered why they were supposed to be so wonderful. These Brooks Bedlams are awesome. They are cute. I bought 2 pairs. One for walking outside on the hard concrete and the other for working out in my carpeted basement. The only one teeny tiny thing that I don't like is the way the tongue is cut. It's just a fashion design thing but it's kind of to the side and it doesn't affect the comfort but it's just weird when you put them on. I'll probably get used to it. And I got the pink. They rock.

I loved these shoes for comfort , suppoert and that they were light. They also are very attractive. I have been distance running, 25-50 miles a week for 37 years. The shoe has to work. Zappos policy of letting you try them out is wonderful I was happy with these for quite awhile but after only two months the heals wore out on the outer edge. The sole plastic is very thin so once through the outer layer the underneath layer is soft and wore away fast. Most shoes have a better material on the sole. I know I pronate and tend to ware shoes in that area but it has never gone through to the second layer like that before.
I'd also recommend:
Asics and Mizuno have worked for me. If they fix the sole material, the bedlam would too!

I have been a runner fir years. Brooks has always been my faithful, true running shoe as far as quality, comfort and performance.
The glycerin and Ghost are two of my favorites! I was so excited to see a new one, the Bedlam and loved the way it looked! When I tried it on I was shocked and disappointed. It felt incomplete inside and after wearing around the house for a short period of time my feet were burning. The fabric felt stiff, think and the footbed was hard without support. The shoe felt 1/2 size large than my normal tried and true over the years size 8 1/2.
Not worth 150.00..
I sadly had to send them back.

Great looking shoe. However, not comfortable. I have the levitate 2 and it is cushiony and comfortable but not a lot of arch support. This one has some arch support but a very uncomfortable foot bed. I had tingling and numbness after wearing for only 15 minutes. I tried different insoles in different combinations but to no avail. Have to return.

I am loyal to Brooks running shoes and this is no exception.
As always they fit perfectly and don't require a breaking in period (I wore them all day the first day)
I like this new color.
They are lightweight yet feel sturdy and supportive.

Perfect is a good place to start. The arch is the first thing I check in the shoe when I try them on. The arch support is amazing in the Bedlam. The way my heel is cupped in the shoe feels so good! I was worried about the knitted upper and how it would feel. It is so much better than what I even imagined. It grips my sock so they won’t fall into the shoe. I didn’t want to take them off my feet were so happy in them!!

I am 59 years old and walk 3-5 miles daily. I have suffered with plantar faciatitis and this shoe is the perfect addition to my walking shoe collection. Definitely my 'go-to' shoe. No longer a believer in Asics, Brooks outweigh the comfort ten-fold!

This sneaker is fabulous I have many foot problems. Had bunion surgery in August 2018 plus a broken metatarsal on the same foot so needless to say I needed a sneaker with a wide toe box and some decent cushioning. This sneaker has it. So very comfortable but at the same time lots of support for my arches as well. Cushioning is wonderful and the style is a little different as far as the tongue of the shoe. I like that when you lace it up there is a grip around the ankle/heel so the sneaker never slips off your heel as you are walking. Most sneakers slip off on my foot but this sneaker grips your foot. Highly recommend.

I have tried bedlam before and they are so cute that I wanna ted to try them out. They didn’t have enough cushion for me and they felt as if they were tipping my feet in a weird way. They were an immediate rerun for me.

I have been wearing Brooks Adrenalines for several years but I was less than impressed with the last pair that I bought. I thought that I would try a different style but these shoes did not meet the mark. There is an odd piece in the back which immediately rubbed the back of my ankle. The width and length seemed adequate, but the shoe also lacked the arch support and stability that I was looking for in a running shoe. I am going to try a different brand.

Great fit and feel for those with flat feet - good support for arch without it being too muck. Great quality as expected from Brooks!

I have been wearing Brooks for several years now and by far these are the best of the best. I am a perfect 5.5 but usually purchase a 6 in most sneakers because of extremely high arches and wide feet. This sneaker in 5.5 was spot on and comfortable right out of the box. Stretchy fabric, lots of support. Brooks are pricey but worth every single penny.

I have low arches and over-pronate when I run. Because of this, I am prone to plantar fasciitis and I need shoes that offer stability/support. Unfortunately, options are limited and the ones that are out there are not so pretty. I read the reviews on the Bedlams and it seemed to check all the boxes. I figured it was worth a try especially with the 30 day trial offered with Zappos. I’ve only had them for 2 weeks and have run in them 4 times. There is zero pain when I run and that alone is amazing. The only issue I’m having is the tongue of the shoe is rubbing on the inside of lower ankle/upper arch on both feet. I’m hoping this will subside because if it doesn’t, I will need to return them. I really hope this design flaw doesn’t ruin the entire shoe for me!

This is a great shoe!! I need a little bit more arch support so I removed the insoles replaced with my inserts. I’ve received several compliments on these. I’ve tried the Adrenaline GTS, the Levitate, and the Ghost 11. I’m keeping these and the Levitate. Love the run guarantee Zappos offers since I have arthritis, I never know what shoe my feet will do good in. So pleased with this option!!

So far, so good! I took a leap of faith and tried out a new shoe. I have worn Brooks for years, but I usually wear the Adrenaline. I'm not crazy about one side of the tongue being sewn in place.

Love at first sight. Decent weight (not the lightest) and unique knit design.
Took them for a four mile run and destroyed my heels. Right heel bleeding and left all red. The knit material bulged on back and unfortunately started running hard halfway thru run so had to finish run. Made sure u has socks over area hoping it would hold off the rubbing but still bled. Sorely disappointed.
Had also ordered saucony’s that were quite narrow, will go back to saucony’s other models.

These shoes were so cute in the box! I always wear Brooks (adrenaline or glycerin) and I was excited to try a new style. I love the colors and the design - at least I did until I put them on. When I tried it on the shoe was too long and did not fit well. Its inside stitching really irritated my forefoot and I didn't like that the heel flap went up so high that it hit the back of my ankle above my socks. Sadly I will be returning these.
