Top notch boat shoe. Looks great with shorts and slacks, khakis, jeans. These are my go-to shoe for the boat or out around town.

If you are looking over the fence for your first pair of Gold Cubbies, or looking for your first pairs of Top-Siders, do not hesitate and pull the trigger. The Gold Cubs are meticulous made, they are soft in and out, true to size and the leather is impressive. I'm a true shoe fan and I highly recommend Sperry Gold Shoes.

If you are a Topsider wearer, and have never splurged on the Gold Cup models, you are missing out! These shoes are classic Topsiders, but with a much softer, cushion feel to them. The leather is almost buttery, right out of the box, and it stays that way for the life of the shoe. They are more expensive, but the feel is great.

Everyone should own boat shoes, they are great for all sorts of things and always look great. So why not have the best, which the Sperry definitely is.

I have had my Gold Cups for about a year now. They are a fantastic shoe and, in the current work from home world, I wear mine daily. The only time I can remember wearing a different shoe recently was to a funeral where more formal attire was needed. The only thing I would change is the roll up half insole. Either a better glue or a full insole would complete this shoe. I Super Glue my insole down and that lasts several months, but at this price point, I should not need to do that. When this pair is done, I will definitely replace them with another pair. Oh yeah, as with almost every Top Sider I have ever had, one of the eyelets' brass piece has popped out and slides along the leather lace - is that a feature?

Bought two pairs of these instead of the cheaper Authentic Original Leather. They are far more comfortable and the leather is much softer. They also seem to dry quicker when wet from boating. My only negative is that, like the cheaper version, they only have a half leather insole which tends to roll up when you take your feet out of them. It would be so much more comfortable to have a full leather insole and not difficult to change. I have to glue the half insole down time and time again!

Replace these shoes in two colours every year. The sizing is consistent, the leather is higher quality and much more supple than the regular boat shoes.

The most comfortable, versatile spring/summer/fall shoe. They break in quickly and look better with age. I bought a half size down and in wide since I have hobbit feet. My puppy ate half of the right's laces so my wife finally made me get some new gold cups. It was probably time since the insoles lost their memory foam cushy-mess. I may buy another set in a different color for some variation, as I think my wife might leave me alone if she sees something different on my feet des temp en temp. My favorite shoes ever, hands down.

Every 10 years or so I replace my ' Gold Cup Authentic Original Boat Shoe ' but there are no wide choices, why?

The most comfortable and versatile shoe I have ever bought. Ever. I wondered for two whole years about this purchase and they lived up to the price point and beyond. They did run about a half size big but I couldn't care less - they are the best shoe in the world.

Still the same great shoe. True fit to size. Love 'em!

After 4+ decades of wearing TopSiders, I tried the Gold Cup version. This is now my 6th pair...well worth the premium price for the extra comfort. The only downside...too nice to wash the car in. For that, I use the old pair.

Like putting on a pair of slippers, but looks just like the same, classic Sperry deck shoes I've been wearing for decades.
