Super comfortable and really cute colors. Specifically cushy around the ankle area and nice wider toe box if you have toe or bunion issues.

I've used Wave Riders for 9 years straight now. There were a couple years in there that Mizuno changed the shoe enough that I actually did not like it. The past couple of years, including the Wave Rider 22 have gone back to that original feel that I loved initially. The wave rider is a great, lightweight trainer shoe. I will admit I can't get much over 300 miles on a pair of shoes, as compared to some stiffer models that could handle up to 500. I have extremely flat feet and the Wave Rider is neutral enough that I do not have to wear orthodics.

Love these! This is my second pair and I suggest ordering a half size larger than your usual running shoe size. I usually wear an 8.5 and ordered a 9 which is perfect. These are extremely cushioned, fit well around my narrow ankles, and provide great support.

This is my fifth pair of Mizuno.
They give me great support and depending on the model, the sole varies from stiff to moderately stiff. That's why I bought them in the first place. Shoes with too much give were causing me to have foot pain.
As with my other Mizuno's, I'm a size 6.5 and wear a size 7 and these fit perfectly right out of the box.

T=I tried every shoe that had been recommended for my feet (Hallux Rigidus, high arches, wide feet) and this was the best. I also supponate , and thesis are good shoes for that. Next time I ay order the 8.5, but these are a great start!

These are my favorite running shoes ever! I was having problems with a fractured tibia for two consecutive years; after getting the wave riders I have not had problems since.

I bought this shoe for walking. The most comfortable parts of the shoe are its cushioned inside sole and that it creates no pressure on any part of my foot when I am walking. The shoe upper is well-made but are very soft. I would prefer a slightly stiffer upper for mire support.

I always wear a size 8. Both these and the Mizuno Inspire run a wee bit short so I suppose one should plan to order a 1/2 size bigger.

This shoe is super supportive and comfortable. My only issue is the style. I live in AZ and it's approaching June. It was too much shoe. The entire shoe seems very puffy and the ankle area seemed especially warm. The last thing you want in AZ is feet feeling hot and swollen when you're trying to exercise.

I bought this shoe in the black/rose gold. It's a very good-looking shoe. I ordered my usual size and it fits true to size. It is comfortable. I haven't worn the shoes outside of the house yet because I am considering returning them because they seem to slip a little as I walk around the house. I don't have that problem with my Wave Rider 20 shoes that are even a half size larger than my normal size. I think that maybe wearing thicker socks will fix the issue so I haven't definitely decided to return them.

I've been wearing Wave Riders for at least the last 6-7 years. The WR 22 is half a size smaller than the 21. I usually wear size 10, and I ordered 10-1/2 in the WR 22 (after reading reviews on this site), and I'm glad I did. It is literally the same length as my size 10 WR 21s. The main difference is more room in the toe box, and you can never go wrong there. Otherwise, it's the same nice feel: narrow heel, wide toe box, and more padding in the toe than the WR 19 and 20.

I'm Mizuno all the way.

The toe box is a bit narrower than earlier models (Wave Rider 19 and 21), which doesn't fit my foot as well. In the past, I've rated this shoe 5s in all categories.

As with all the previous editions of Mizuno's Wave Rider style, these fit well and provide the support and comfort I expect. However, Mizuno appears to be cutting corners in a particularly stupid way--by shortening the shoelaces to the point of absurdity. The laces on the WR 22 are a full SEVEN inches shorter than those on the WR 20. Not long enough to tie them securely!!! Come on, Mizuno-- I don't expect to pay this much for a pair of running shoes and then have to buy shoelaces separately!

This version has much more cushion than those 2 or 3 versions ago. The cushioning in these is comparable to Brooks Ghost now. I prefer the older models with less cushioning that seemed to come up higher on my heel and offer more stability. These do feel great for long walks and on wood
floors. Too much black on the black shoes. Would like an accent color. Still love these though.

Definitely take the advice of other reviews and order a half size up. I did not and ordered my usual size 7 first and they were too small. 7.5 fits perfectly with thicker running socks.
