As it turned out, the shoes were just too bulky for me. Nothing wrong with the shoes. Just needed a lighter shoe with less soul.

I've been using New Balance shoes for a long time. It's the only brand that reliably fits my wide foot. Good quality for the price.

Much lighter than I expected. Look great but the fit is smaller than the past NB sneakers I've owned (at least 10).

I have to say I'm a little let down by this purchase. Not enough arch support, and the heal pull is horizontal, awkward to grip to put on. Biggest complaint though is the underside of the top of the shoe (under the laces) seems to be rough and abrasive. Hard to explain, but I'm always aware it's there. The insole is not very cushioned. They look fine, but they can't be my everyday shoe. I expect an early retire to these shoes.

Overall, I like the shoe and the way it looks. However, it did come a half-size too small when I ordered my usual size. I had to send them back and get another pair. A half-size bigger did the trick! If you wear orthodic inserts like I do, you'll need the extra wide width, which works pretty well with them.

These are great walking shoes. They seem supportive enough for running, and they're pretty light and breathable. They did feel a little narrow for the regular width (D), but they're comfortable nonetheless. I like how they look like regular shoes, unlike some running shoes which seem more suited to a black-light rave (but then I'm not a flashy person). They're a great value as well.

My husband has bought many New Balance shoes - this is the newest in this line he has purchased. He has always worn an 11.5. This was VERY tight around the toes and had to be returned. It also felt narrow. Unfortunately, he ordered a new pair (12) and also a wider shoe. He should have just done longer. Note: This shoe has a DEEP hole in the heel, which makes it lighter, but also means you pick up stones and dirt. Be forewarned.

New Balance is my go-to brand because I have an exceptionally wide foot. I was very pleased when I opened the box: these are great-looking shoes in both style and color, but for some reason, this pair felt larger than others that I have ordered in my normal size. Returning this pair and ordering another pair in same style and color but smaller size.

It felt just right, no complaints.

Comfortable shoe, not as much cushioning as other NBs, but expected that at this price point. Really appreciate the roomier toe-box. Definitely recommend for those of us with the larger feet.

These were purchased for my husband for running. He’s happy with the comfort level and doesn’t really care about style. He likes NB for the fit.

Like this shoe's design primarily because of the color and large N being the same color - black in my case. But it is an inexpensive shoe (relatively speaking) and as such it doesn't provide a great deal of support or comfort. This come out when one compares this shoe with a NB 900 series shoe which provides far better comfort and fit. If you can live with this quality shoe, go for it as it is nicely designed. But if you have feet that need a better fit, move up to the 990v4 and pay the big difference.
