Holds a lot without being too heavy on the shoulders firm and self supported only issue is that there is a big gap in the front bottom where the front compartment ends half way which makes the bottom of the bag look somewhat empty if there is nothing small that is put in there even if you fill up the back pack, filling the front pocket up will still lead to the gap just got it so not sure about durability

This takes place of my purse. In it I keep my laptop, file folders, writing utensils, plus everything I'd keep in a purse.

Bought for my child to use for middle school. The bag is well-made and will definitely last. Unfortunately, it was entirely too small for the giant binders kids have to use now so it was returned. I exchanged for the borealis model and it's perfect.

I think it was great design but it will be much greater if the front pocket was longer.

I work at a gym and so a backpack tends to be more useful than a purse. The backpack is super roomy, it doesn't have too many pockets which is a plus for me. It is super stylish and it comes in a variety of colors for every personality. Only downside is that tank tops might not be a good option when it's new since the material rubs against the skin and can be quite uncomfortable.

My last north face (which I had for four years) started to wear out and I needed a new backpack for the start of my freshman year of college, and I love the new jester. This is a great backpack for college students if you don't need a ton of extra space in your backpack, but still wanted a durable backpack with a laptop sleeve. It's lightweight, and fits a decent amount of stuff in the main pocket. The only thing I wish was different was that the front pocket was a little bit deeper, similar to the main pocket. The front pocket is only a shallow pocket that you can't fit extra books or folders in, only utensils. Other than that, a great buy for students on campus or traveling.

It's great but not enough room

It's great for college students because we are not carrying so much all at once. Since there's not a lot of pockets, it's not great for having a lot objects in it. But it's very stylish and comfortable.

I use this backpack for school and it fits all my necessary materials and doesn't rip or anything

This has so many pockets and isn't great for organization. My only complaint is the main pocket is a little tight and needs to be worn in. Overall great quality!

Makes a great college backpack

I use this for school. It's a good looking backpack, it's comfortable, I just wish it were a little bigger. It only fits about 2 of my binders.

28 liters is only enough for a few school books and that's it. I have used it for travel and it was a headache trying to fit stuff in there.

Got it for my daughter for school and it seems to be a sturdy backpack. It is a little smaller than I anticipated, but hopefully it continues to hold everything she needs.

Im going to use the backpack for college, and what I like what it is that it has lots of room. I'm able to put lots of things in the center pocket. What I don't like about it is that there aren't enough pockets.

In my last semester of my undergraduate and finally decided after 4 years to get a North Face. I love it!! It's very comfortable with the extra padding on the shoulder straps/back. It's not the most spacious I've owned, but it works to carry all of my necessities for class, including my laptop. By far the most well-made backpack I've owned.

Great use for school especially with computers.

The backpack has a nice design, nice colors, and appears to be durable. The thing I don't like most about it is the space in the backpack. Compared to other backpacks we have owned, this holds very little.

Bought 2 of these backpacks for both of my daughters. One is in high school the other is in college. We looked at many different brands of backpacks. It is amazing how many manufactures do not make a backpack specifically for women. When it came to comfort it was this backpack as the leader by far, and it fit their smaller backs. The padding on these packs is excellent. This backpack had enough pockets and space to get by and the material seems good. The backpack looks stylish too. We have used North Face in the past and they last pretty well.

Bought this for my daughter for school. She loves it. It's a great size, maybe slightly smaller than I would ha e liked, but will work fine for school. It's gorgeous- really a very attractive back pack. It also seems extremely durable. My only complaint is the price, but she had her heart set on it!
