I needed a light versatile back pack that I could wear while cycling 20 miles in and out of the city. My old pack was just too heavy. The Borealis Backpack accomplishes this and more. I am able to pack my books, lap top and water in the side pockets on the way into the city. While in the city I can pack my bike helmet, shoes, and cycling close. This pack is not only comfortable but stylish as well. I definitely recommend this pack.

Super comfortable even with my textbooks inside. I throw it around and my laptop is fine in the very back pocket, still hasn't broken yet. The straps are very thick so they support your shoulders very well and the color pops on campus.

The backpack is very comfortable! Great for basically anything. Usually when you are carrying a lot of stuff, your back starts hurting but this backpack is not like any other backpack. It has comfortable cushion in the back, it is also waterproof which is great! I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Great backpack, quality for the price is unmatched. However i do wish they would do away with the stretchy strings on the front. They are basically pointless, but overall great purchase.

I'm a college student and I use this for school. So far, it has proved very durable and practical for carrying everything I need, such as papers and my computer. An extra bonus is the fact that I love the style it has.

Every college kid needs this bag. My initial thought about the bag when I first saw it was that it is not big enough. I was quickly proven wrong. It is so spacious, you'll never have to worry about your computer, textbooks, materials, etc. not fitting. The amount of room this practical, compact bag provides makes it well worth the price. Excellent built quality. Having lots of pockets for all my smaller materials/belongings is also a great feature. The straps have a sturdy rugged built and they're comfortable, unlike my previous bag. This product is going double as a great travel carry-on, for I will be able to pack plenty of clothes.

I'm a graduate student. All the separate compartments are useful, especially because I carry my food and books together.

I've had this backpack for almost five years and I still love it! You would think that after all that time the pack has worn out or something, but no! Except for usual wear and tear, this backpack still looks like I could have gotten it a week ago. TNF makes the best and most durable backpacks, hands down.

This is a great bag that my son uses for everything. He uses it for school, which holds all his books and electronics, he uses it for travel and as well as pleasure. Extremely durable and fashionable. This is my 3rd purchase of the bag!

I bought the newly redesigned Borealis backpack mostly for business travel. I currently use a high quality messenger bag for my everyday commute in carrying a Surface and extraneous gear. I've found that backpacks are just better for travel as you can put on both shoulder straps without the bag moving around a lot while trying to also manage a roller bag or larger suitcase and navigating airports. If bags are checked, and easier for you, you can always just use one shoulder strap.
I'm admittedly very picky about my travel bags. I need just the right amount of room for a laptop and tablet (usually travel with a tablet as well), other tech gear (converters for use with projectors, etc) and a pullover to stay warm on planes and conference rooms. This backpack has the right amount of space for these needs without being excessively baggy as some larger backpacks get. Exactly what I was looking for.
The shoulder straps "dip" in toward the top, so they stay on your shoulders really well - even when using only one strap on one shoulder. The area under the straps is contoured to allow airflow between your back and the bag which is a great feature - sweaty backs are no good.
